Lucio, a question, do you believe that Hanya can do something for Boothill, more than Luka or not. I don't have Bronya or Ruan Mei, my account it's very new

Hanya can provide an attack buff and make help with SP. Hanya can also provide a speed buff that can help with the talia 2pc requirement.
Bronya and Ruan Mei would be the better supports for Boothill but hanya can totally work.
I'd say Pela or Tingyun are other good general supports that can work too.

does damage up affect boothill? it doesn't seem clear to me since his break reapplication is a multiplier, which makes me guess that said multiplier can be boosted? but i might be wrong

Nope , it scales from Lvl , BE , toughness dmg , def shred and elemental shred.
Bronya only helps him to do more turns and helps him to do more breaks , and a reason to run her with DDD now

Aventurine does jack shit for him outside of sustaining. Bronya is standard and anyone who was playing this game for a while now either got her through standard/losing/selector. Even if not, harmony TB is free and they are arguably a better option since Boothill only cares about break (it's mostly that harmony TB + Ruan Mei is a bit of an overkill for him, but you can do if you don't care about being too OP). As for the last one, yup she is limited, but at the same time who the hell doesn't have Ruan Mei?

Bronya effectively gives you twice the turns and thus allows you to break toughness faster/take more actions during the weakness broken window which is huge/massively reduces the ramp up time for his talent/provides more energy via the extra turns.
HMC will provide break effect which will have diminishing returns with ruan mei and the amount you stack on him, weakness bar dmg if the enemy is imaginary weak and superbreak for his own dmg and for boothill but lets go through that superbreak.
The simple math:
HMC superbreak lets say adds on 100k dmg to his 200k however he only takes 2 turns per cycle:
300k x 2 = 600k
Now let us do bronya who doesn't buff the dmg but gives him effectively twice the turns:
200k x 4 = 800k

@@iosgamertool8741 Wouldn't exactly say his is either. Outside of all being 5*, neither of them is on some crazy build, high e's, and only Aventurine is with his own sig (which again does nothing for Boothill in larger scale of things compared to Ruan Mei's cone that she doesn't even have), etc.
The team might be considered "premium" but hardly 'forced to pay' lol
