In the afterlife, Dr. Wily is either fuming, or laughing at the sheer irony that in the end, it was his creation, not Dr. Light's, that ended up saving the world.
I mean, sorta? Zero saved the world...many times, for a few hundred years. But so did X. Both Dr. Light and Dr. Wily's creations have protected the world, and on both fronts, their victories are ultimately temporary. At the end of the day, the world still suffers apocalypse after apocalypse for millennia, all the way to the flooding of the world that happens before Mega Man Legends.
@@krigsy7610 oh yeah. Wily definitely has the last laugh there. Zero went out with a bang 15 separate times, and X just got sick of it all and basically sat down and left the world.

Since Wily's goal wasn't to destroy the world, but to be recognise as better than Light I think he would be happy with that fact
@ Except nobody acknowledges Wily made Zero. And Wily made the Maverick Virus that caused everything in the X series and lead to Weil causing everything in Zero and ZX.
Yeah. Two of the very few protagonists in general who never gotten an happy ending. This also makes me think of representing Zero who is needed again even though his 'true' purpose was revealed; becoming the better robot out of a rivalry started 400 years ago
After a quick listen to both, I can hear it. Ciel's has more of a faster tempo and an upbeat feeling, contrasting Rebecca's, but they're structurally similar.

@@indigocactus3089 true, but in comparison to how original X ultimately meets his end... That must be a big OOOF 😅

Ciel: "A, Okaeri!" Peaceful, soothing and calm. She looked so relieved to see Zero after being found unconscious near the base. (Thanks Harpuia.)
This song for some reason makes me sad. It reminds me of the death of the two greatest heroes of the main timeline. Still gets to me

It's okay. They're Livemetals now. Still keeping the peace of the planet. Well, until Lengends/DASH happens.
this song calm my mind.
This seems like a song that would place in a peaceful dream.
A peaceful dream, sleeping away from a horrible war-torn reality.
A peaceful dream but it will end afterwards and then we have to face cruel reality
Eternal Love...
Part of the instruments in this song remind me of the droplet cave theme (Tloz Minish cap)
Peaceful song :)
I think of this as Ciel's theme.
A Peace Song
who else is upset a song like this wasn't implemented in the last 2 games? Like why couldn't we have a Ciel theme for each game?
There's a remix of Labo in the Zero 3 OST but I'm not sure if it plays in the game.
@@davidgn40 it plays in ciel's minigame
@@_SparkHere thanks!
Isn’t there a Zero 4 song which is sung by Ciel's VA?
@@paradox2210Yeah the ending theme in the Japanese GBA and all versions in the Legacy Collection
nice a remix of ciel's lab nice
I feel like the song "Recollection" from the game 999 took some inspiration from this theme
Sounds kinda similar
So awesome to find other 999 fans in random places like this!
1:53 starts to sound like something from Ecco the Dolphin on Sega CD
reminds 'Call Your Name', from Attack on Titan
Ciel is so fucking cute
apparently this theme was based on rebeccas theme from resident evil
