Nice Video....i just replaced my water heater and still got the old 1 laying around. I think im gonna try and convert it into a smoker like this. I also got a small welder i bought off Amazon i been wanting to teach myself how to weld and start using. Keep crushing it im digging your work its very motivational
The same happened to me. Had to get a new water heater but still want my moneys worth out of the old one. Definitely making this smoker and it’ll be an excuse to burn some steel too
Love your video. It's helpful for me with the 2 tanks I have to build myself one. I know my work will not turn out as pretty as yours. But I'm just going to have it for personal use.
Pretty doesn't make your BBQ taste any better. All the smokers I've made were ugly as hell but put out screaming pork butts and baby backs. Just make sure your dimensions add up. There are multiple smoker calculators on the internet that makes it easy.
You have any video that shows how u did your water pan in this smoker? I assume its between the firebox section and the smoke chamber but how big is it? Thanks. I just built a vertical smoker and missed that step.
Man as usual great video. I do have a question. Do you use the pipe that came with it for your smoke pipe? Just curious. Looking forward to the next one.
Nice job. And great that this thing didn't end up in a landfill. I wonder if you could take the foam from the outside, pack it in gallon plastic bags (or better yet - shrink wrap it in plastic bags), and then use it as wall insulation.
@@Klub_FitNest the tank about 65 inch and actually fire starts from the bottom to 20 inch’s and that’s where your water pan rack starts… then separate each rack 10 in apart
Nice job Arnold, just what I needed, wanted to see how to disassemble the heater first, thanks friend, Richard

This brother has a get rich quick scheme called working yo ass off.
What's the length of your door bro? Or what's the distance between the pit and firebox
