@@Farmingforskills247 It happened to me; I chose this laptop in 2022 since the specifications indicated the possibility of future RAM and ROM upgrades. In January 2024, I purchased a 2TB HP SSD for ROM update and went to an Authorized Asus service center for installation; however, they tried multiple times themselves, but windows installation was failing again and again, post they took the help from ASUS technical team, but still the same issue was repeating, after that post 2 months, ASUS Support guy called me for the issue and he inform that this model (I5) only supports 1TB SSDs and the i7 model supports 2 TB.
did you manage to do a ram upgrade on this laptop? i was doing research and it says online that it only takes maximum 8gb on the extra slot and not 16/32.
According to phs-memory (website), there is something called "overraming," and with this model, it should be possible to upgrade to 16GB or 32GB. However, I cannot say for certain. I have been hesitant to try it out so far.

Hi , I have the same laptop but mine has 4gb onboard+ 4gb in slot, I have recently replaced the 4gb with 16gb, My laptop is working fine but when i check CPU temps, they are over 55-60 degrees with normal usage like browsing, coding, multimedia etc. I'm just worried about the thermals

You can add 16gb. So total would be 16gb slot + 8gb on board = 24gb total.
