  • Volvo’s march towards full electrification is well underway, and it doesn’t look like anything will stop it. Now, there are currently four fully-electric SUVs you can reserve on their website. However, only two have made it onto our streets here in the U.S. including their first EV, the XC40 Recharge. Which, as it turns out, continues to get better and better. #Volvo #XC40Recharge #VolvoXC40

    Just get a rav4 about half the price. Comparable ability’s and better resale and reliability.

    Volvo renamed this as the EX40. Will this and the C40 be replaced by the EX50?

    Unless the market growth of EVs is consistent and doesn't drop off with or without 🤔 more infrastructure, being a pure EV maker won't be profitable, and layoffs will be inevitable. European reduced their workforce to offset EV development costs, and now Tesla, through reduced sales. Long live the hybrids and PHEVs.

    I love it but EVs have to come down in price for us Americans to buy in.

      Compared to what? The last time I looked gas cars were also too expensive and you still have to buy gas and oil.

      @@frankcoffeythere's still a limited market for entry-level commuter cars.

      Ice cars are getting more expensive while EV's are getting cheaper. You may get your wish sooner than you realize.

      @@Anhedonis Yeah all the cost takeout for ICE has already happened and can only get more expensive to make. EVs only have to reduce the cost of one part to get cheaper to make because that part is 40% of the total.

    I know Elon is toxic to some people but his cars are a little cheaper even though fit and finish is a hit or miss sometimes. All cars especially American cars have similar issues. Moreover ice cars are stupid expensive when they add unnecessary dealer markups to just line their pockets 😮. So far my 2021 Y Performance has 60,190 miles with trouble free mechanical issues and I have saved thousands in fuel cost compared to my 2017 GT 350.😊

      @JJVernig 14 дней назад +2

      He has used all that investment money to make the building of cars as efficiënt as possible. And changes in the model are slight, so pumping them out is working well. Also the removing of dealernetwork is a real cost saver. And the Tesla are getting better and better.
      But the problem is Elon indeed. He is still a loose canon and his convictions are so much out of touch of a lot of the rest of the world, that he becomes a liability, especially outside the US.

      @@JJVernig I agree with you mostly. I wish the attention to detail/fit/finish became a priority for the Tesla brand, happy to see that they made the Model 3 a little bit better with ride/comfort. There's not enough space here for me to vent my frustrations, but long story short, El*n needs to do better.

      I acknowledge the deeper impact of today's global Tesla, but I really did prefer Pre-Elon Tesla when it was niche.

      Tesla is tired…without new models and significant changes it has become the bland choice. That’s why they keep lowering the price.

  • @chriszawertany5242

    Check the used car price on this model-you will stay far away-half price or less with a couple of 1000 miles. Just like all these useless EVs-except Teslas.
