You might imagine that at least a small handful of medical people caught the drinking competition promotion on the radio yet none of them knew enough about the possible effect to call up and put a stop to it.

you are a brilliant dr. not to butter your toast on both sides but i loved listening.
now for the big question thing. okay so i have long term severe anemia. and when i get my menses they get severely heavy and I faint when i stand. so im wondering if there's circumstances where "the bloodshed from menses isn't severe enough to activate the emergency response" is a bit off because i almost never urinate during menses. (yes me and my dr are looking into this) im just curious because I have seen other people like me with similar experiences.

Dr. Chertow is hilarious. I’m so captivated by his presence. His constant questions to the audience really keeps everyone engaged, he’s soft spoken which contributes to this kind, approachable demeanour, and his subtle humour makes him such a great lecturer. I bet he’s a great doctor.

Depends, the kind of salt must be considered...three major types, one very bad for kidneys..Morton salt..must avoid, period. Morton salt is so processed, including tiny pieces of glass..zero minerals..the other two salts have 92 minerals , is urine the bodies Gold ?

if you loose 20 lb for one you loose miles of blood vessels. That should in most people bring down the blood pressure by sheer shortening of the vascular network physics. Plus many times, the excess fat surrounding the blood vessels CAUSE and maintain a slightly elevated vasoconstriction on many arteries thus increasing peripheral resistance. This is all published research

Step one: Stop eating sugar and anything from grains. That includes rice.
Step two: Take vitamin C and some magnesium or eat huge amounts of veg.
Step three: Make sure you have a balance between omega 3 and 6. (No junk food)
That should fix most health problems.

Step 4 Meditate and keep the stress low. And meditation is also known to balance all the hormones in the body. Activate the mitochondria to work more effectively and a lot more good things. And new research also says that kidney cells do regenerate but one must provide the right environment for it to help reverse kidney disease.

I think HTN is always secondary . They might be due to stiffness of blood vessel, over production of hormones like cortisol and aldostreon, polycythemia, low level of vit d , high renin , renal stenosis , pulmonary issue or even high cholostrol and lot more .but their must be a underline cause

Kidneys are part of the excretory system and part of the urinary system
They also have to do with feelings of security (lack of feeling secure, fearful, is what affects the kidneys) and they act as the furnace in the body.

I would argue the kidneys have more of an intelligence than the brain . As the brain is an antennae processing all the bits of information of surroundings inside and out . Leaving the information for the organ system to use its own intelligence to supply a best function to the whole . The kidneys I have been forced to recently get in touch with and I have apologized for ignoring them for so long in maintenence and also getting information from them no doubt . I believe there is much too the listen to your heart and listen to your gut which I realte to the kidneys operating as dual processors and the gut becomes the screen the information is read and legible to the brain . So the brain is only processing the information the organs have created .
Anyway yes its true we can not live without the relay center or brain , but we must really began to focus on the intelligence of the organs as well . If one is in tune enough see what happens if you began to converse with them directly , might seem outside the box exersise but worth the awkwardness . Cheers !!
