So beautiful. As I watch the patriotic videos you have reacted to, I cry for my country. We in America have been given an unbelievable gift, and there is a minority - and, yes, it IS a minority, of Americans who hate what we have and what we are. The majority of Americans love our country and recognize how much blood and treasure has been sacrificed to keep us free. Thank you so much for your reaction videos. Another video you may want to react to is "Only in America" by Brooks & Dunn.
Yes. You are right that they are the minority. God bless you my sister, my fellow American. I cry over it too.
Correct Kathy. Breaks my heart to see the Hate for our country these days. Unlike anything I have seen in my 63 years. We need to Hold the Line now more then ever. Semper Fi
This is really beautiful. My cousin went to West Point. It’s not an easy place to get accepted into. He played football for the Army and served in both Iraq wars. It was years ago, but I remember how proud his parents were of him. They had his cadet saber framed and mounted on the wall.
As a navy man, I submit to you, for your perusal, and in the desire to see my shipmates get "equal time", that you take a look and listen to the Naval Academy Glee Club Tribute to Pearl Harbor. "Eternal Father", The Navy Hymn. This is something worth hearing.
I'll second that. My husband was in the US Army and when he got out he enlisted in the US Navy.
Went to We Were Soldiers Once. When the film was over no one spoke, no one clapped, no one moved. People just sat there and openly wept.
With Memorial Day coming up next Monday these songs are so appropriate to remember all of those people who have defended their countries. Thanks.
Greater love has no man than that a man lays down his life for his friends (John 15)

Amen. Semper Fi
Amen!!
@PECOSO Facts my brother...Semper Fortis.
Until we meet again at Fiddlers Green first round is on me
I love that you hold such respect for Military Service. You bring this to the forefront of people's lives and remind them that Freedom isn't Free. God Bless and please don't stop sharing your patriotic heart.
Beautiful song! Love listening to all military choirs!❤️🙏🏻✌🏻
this is probably too late: Lyrics: V1 To fallen Soldiers let us sing; Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing; Our broken brothers let us bring, To the Mansions of the Lord. V2 No more bleeding no more fight; No prayers pleading through the night; Just divine embrace, external light; In the Mansions of the Lord. V3 Where no mothers cry and no children weep; We will stand and guard though the angels sleep; While through the ages safely keep; The Mansions of the Lord. Very meaningful. I especially love the line “No prayers pleading through the night”-very poignant.
Haunting song. Gets me every damn time I hear it.
Beautiful song, beautiful lyrics.
My father volunteered and served just under 4 years in WWII. He earned a Purple Heart and was a Disabled American Veteran. I am so thankful when all our servicemen and women are remembered.
My father, David Hamilton Kennedy, was a pointer (1928-1932) and served during WWII. Not only that, he was in the WP Chorus… he would have truly appreciated their youthful voices and talents. I am beyond tears. Thank you.
Don you could also react to the combined Glee Clubs of both West Point and The Naval Acadamy as they sang the National Anthem at the Army/Navy football game. Well done. Rob, USNR 1987-1995
Please 🙏 react to" lay me doone (,proper Scottish spelling ),Sgt Mackenzie" from the same movie sound track.
In memory of Sgt Mackenzie from Moray Scotland
(WW1.) He refused to leave his wounded Friend,he stood his ground until he was over run and bayoneted to death. He was awarded the Victoria Cross for his sacrifice.😥🇨🇦😷🙏
You look like a rugby player. I played in the 70s for three years that’s all I could take. :-) I love the physical contact. I went into the fire service for 25 years. For back operations throughout that time but put my kids through Catholic schools college and bought them homes. Tough to walk now but it was worth it. I’m glad I came up on your video you’re very right make sure appreciate the man who fight for our safety and I freedom thank you for your video. Mike California
One of the single most impressive men I've ever known is a very good friend of mine, a grad of the Point, a Special Forces Brig. Gen., who now teaches at a naval war college in Rhode Island. Just love the guy, and I'm so fortunate that we click so well and have for years. If EVER you have the chance to visit West Point a couple of hours north of NYC on the Hudson River, IMO, it's one of the most breath-taking campuses in America. Stunning. Even google the chapel for more complete images. It's impossible to walk in that church and NOT have one's breath taken away. It's truly a reverential place.
Great post!
Wow. You really know how to pick songs to review! Thanks.
I had the pleasure and honor of singing under Constance Chase, who was the musical director of the music program at West Point for nearly 20 years, and the Glee Club in the West Point Chapel many years ago as part of Connecticut Chamber Choir. The West Point Glee club did in fact sing this piece and it was written for the movie.
Thank you sir. Even though I was unable to serve ,I have relatives from the revolutionary war and on to the on going conflicts.so thank you.❤
This breaks my heart. To see what my country is doing to our armed forces...trying to change their character to be “woke”. I really don’t know how we can survive if we stay on this path. I am glad my grandfather (who was in WW2 in the Air Force) can’t see what is being done. It would break his heart.
IN GOD WE TRUST
There are not as many "woke" as you think...I have 3 serving in the military- enlisted active duty- USAF, MARINES ,and ARMY.
Don...check out the Texas A&M marching band...you will love this band
Find the video of the Naval Academy Glee club singing “Eternal Father” the navy hymn. They use the song in the movie Crimson Tide. It’s powerful.

Play The Mansions Of The Lord at President Reagans Funeral. Touching.
I am a U.S. Air Force Veteran, '62 - '66, overseas classified Intel. This song always brings me to tears. I have watched the movie, "We were Soldier, andYoung" two times. IF one has served in any Military, they know the bonds that are made.
The West Point Glee Club sang the song in the movie!
Thank you for posting this vid. As an American, we forge what is good ih us. But that is America...a country, yes, but much more an idea. I hope we will never put a period to who we are. Thank you for reminding me America is a journey...not aa destination.
It is not easy to get accepted into West Point. You need be exceptional and be sponsored by a U.S. Congressman / Woman.
The training is grueling and most of our Generals have been West Point Graduates.
Don, that has become the "anthem" of the Vietnam vet and now Desert Storm and IEF/OEF as well. It's in my funeral plan. (LtCol, USMC{Ret})
The cadets of West Point.
Thank You Veterans!!!
People go and find their kinfolk's names on these walls. They take pieces of paper and a pencil, and rub the pencil over it, to take a copy of the name home. 😢
Hi again Scottish Guy. If you will go to RUclips and pull up Mansions of the Lord you will get several renditions including the one just shown. You will also see 2-3 that will have the lyrics posted to follow. A beautiful song based on a Bible verse. To paraphrase, God's house is a house of many mansions. Come see us.
You should watch "Canadians change when they hear the word war"
Beautiful, thank u, be brave, and courageous!!
In line with this performance, would you be interested in doing Trace Atkins and the West Point Glee Club - Till the Last Shot's Fired? From the CMAs. Thanks. Have a great day.
Preciate ya. Thank You!
There is an arrangement the Glee Club did for The British our allies. They sang Jerusalem
Has anyone watched The Chosen? It is about Jesus' disciples and His ministry.
I am such a BIG fan of this new series! Thank you for mentioning it.
@@justmecarter1717 Me too. What's one of your favorite episodes and why?
great video. thanks brother
My pleasure Mark. Beautiful song
I hear you like American Indian flute music. Give a listen to R. Carlos Nakai, Amazing Grace.
Please react to Radner Foster -Angel Flight (Radio Tower Remix)- w-Lyrics by Radner Foster. The song is in honor of fallen soldiers on their flight home. It’s a beautiful song and tribute to the men and women who gave all for their country. Thank you.
And there were around 600,000 men killed in the war between the states alone, back when the U.S. population was far less.
People (Americans) need to understand the reach of this.
Sung at Reagan’s funeral. ❤
A bit random but have you seen any of the 'It's a southern thing' videos? (Comedy videos about being from the south)
No not yet
No sexier way to go than to lay down your life for your country.
Not really a cover. The West Point Glee Club sang this in the movie. Probably different cadets each year but sound just like the originals. There is no better rendition of this prayer.
You funny unt ma bruv come play a yr in Aus onda beach playn rugby
