Billy and Michael are so very talented with their restoration work. I was totally blown away by the work done on the roof. How on Earth did he ever learn to install such a beautiful roof. The technique was awesome. I’m not sure the Château will ever be finished since nunnery. There is only so much work a person can do. Wishing your family the best! Thanks for letting us share your awesome home and interesting lives.
Great tour girls!! The chateau is so blooming huge. Several families could live in there and never meet. It will be a lifetime of work for Billy, Gwen and the gang
Anna is such a ray of sunshine everywhere she goes. For her the glass isn’t just half full … it is completely full.. she is always so encouraging and always provides positive reinforcement. There was never any doubt the the chateau is huge but this vlog has made us aware of its labyrinthine nature. How do they remember what they stored where?

Wow! The château is huge and so beautiful. The stone foundation walls in the basement are amazing! I can’t even image living in a home so large but, what fun it would be to search for the furniture to fill each room. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Anna! I’ve seen many tours but I like yours because you are interested in the same thing I am. Billy isn’t quite as interested in the ceiling of the basement or the size of the stonework 🤣

The Petherick team will eventually get this done. With an army of RUclips volunteers I'm sure a few 1 week efforts each year will progress the chateau projects along nicely
I’m wondering if I missed something recently about the chateau. Every one seems to be talking like the Petherick family’s not doing weddings anymore.? Sadie said the one basement area was eventually turned into a bar but then she kinda mumbled something like that “was” the idea but now something has changed? Billy and family say they are moving permanently to the guest house? Sadie kept referring to never being able to do what they really want to do? Food they get in trouble about their business? I could really see them doing a week long event or month where people spend a certain amount and travel between the closer chateau with each one doing custom events like one with artists, one to teach how to make homemade wine or sangrias, one dress up in the past and live exactly like it was in the 1700’s. So many ideas that all of their local friends could help. Sean doing a copper class Alexander giving a sewing class. The neighbors show their dairy farm. It doesn’t have to be just chateau but everyone.
