    Yeah Shout out to the hooks!!!!, the first that James shows it’s a “punky” made by Fierro a climbing hardware brand based in Bariloche, Argentina, really game changer and life saver on the steep and crimpy granite walls that we got down here!

    This is a good overview on gear! I think it's worth mentioning that you should go take a course or try trad with an experienced partner before buying your own gear. I could see someone buying some nuts, going out and getting themselves zippered pretty easily. Lots of innuendos that should be mentioned before just giving it a go.

    mmmmmh nice video thanks but bro forgot the existence of piton, which is actually pretty basic as well and very common in trad routes and mountains.

      James is more in the business of taking pitons out than putting them in...

      😂 ok, dude. Now you’re really reaching and trying hard to be “edgy”. Nobody is taking pitons and a hammer up a standard route. Especially with the LNT aspect. Pitons serve a purpose still but in more of an alpine/expedition setting and even then people would rather place a cam then spend time hammering in a piton 😂

      @@MisterMcGibblets I am not trying that. But he préfères to present opposite fifi hook than pitons so yes I am commeting my point of view without your permission.

    • @MisterMcGibblets
      @MisterMcGibblets Месяц назад

      @ ….because fifi/sky hooks are used a lot on climbs in the UK…where the guy is from. Hence why it’s part of “his” rack. On top of that you still don’t waste time trying to hammer them in and you can remove them.

      @@MisterMcGibblets you can also remove pitons and they are great When nothing else is possible. They used Al most dverywhere for the reppel.
      As an expert as he is and as basic as those tools are I just wanted him to present it. That is all mate. Bye
