The issue with the inexpensive gear from what I understand is the durability of them
not only the mix is very good, energic, and creative, the transitions are smooth and keep the flow, BUT THE VIDEO EDIT IS ABSOLUTELY AWSOME

I can tell people were having a good time.... Being the one in control of the sound was such a different experience and he made it happen for me and many others....

Bro thank you for this. I've been using DJay for years and I've found it to be alot better in many ways than Serato. Don't get me wrong, Serato is amazing but the sync is all over the place sometimes and the fact you have to pay for pitch altering always bothers me.

Alot different to mixing songs, without headphones to cue up the tracks. Heard a few problems with the cross fader, transition . Im not sure if that was the main thing i noticed, but having a controller/mixer no joke.
Alot of dj todat, play track list and add in beat effects and samples, With a launch pad. The mixer , is making those songs list go back and forth and even to the next song.
In the turntables days, They had to middle crossfade ,
Very limited to scratching and going to the next song.
Making the music was better, but the necssary equipment was limited .
Interesting observations bud!
Also please do more house remixes of billboard songs, I love it

Very cool mobile midi deck! I bought it my-self last week and have to practice a lot with it to be so good like here in this video. But impressive, what is possible with this tool and a good piece of software with autosync etc.
Sidefact: I am born 81, so I know how it hard it is to sync vinyls by hand ;)

People but too much into beat matching personally think mixing in key is as important if not more important
There's a good balance between both, especially depending on your mixing style, but I do put a lot of importance on mixing in key

Unfortunately, I don't have the Starlight. Though it shouldn't be too hard to remap it using Serato DJ! Just head into the MIDI settings

I rather use the knobs to control my fx. I just wanted to ask if you can remap one of the knobs to make it a fx sensitivity? Like the echo effects on the pads acts as a full echo effect, but with knobs i change the fx to half effect. Can this device remap one of the knobs to do this? Please let me know, i am really considering on buying this device! :)

The Starlight is for Serato, and needs to be plugged into your laptop. This one is for Djay and uses Bluetooth

I believe its analog on Serato would be Beat Grid, but I might be mixing up software effects. Let me double check!
How you added ability to switch track? Just bought this one and cannot find. At 1:04 you making headphones and vinyl click and switched track

That’s nice. I like the custom knobs you have. Since this controller doesn’t have eq do you connect it to a mixer to have eq or something?
They're actually special editions of the DJControl Mix! So they come with those new knob colors now. As for the EQ, that's one of the limitations of this device.

quick question. You seem to beat jump using the cue button. Did you map a hot cue to it? and if so, do you not use the normal cue button? thx :)
I did! I tinkered around with the mapping of Djay Pro to do that. I'd normally use the Cue buttons, but since I rehearsed this mix a bit, I already knew the ins and outs of the music

Not yet, but once you've mastered the absolute basics, you can go to town with the remapping
