His videos taught me how to use this hardware and I threw an end of summer rave campout for our airsoft club... Took me a month and alot of practice but after being to many shows myself... I can tell people were having a good time.... Being the one in control of the sound was such a different experience and he made it happen for me and many others....

Very cool mobile midi deck! I bought it my-self last week and have to practice a lot with it to be so good like here in this video. But impressive, what is possible with this tool and a good piece of software with autosync etc. Sidefact: I am born 81, so I know how it hard it is to sync vinyls by hand ;)
Bro thank you for this. I've been using DJay for years and I've found it to be alot better in many ways than Serato. Don't get me wrong, Serato is amazing but the sync is all over the place sometimes and the fact you have to pay for pitch altering always bothers me.

Alot different to mixing songs, without headphones to cue up the tracks. Heard a few problems with the cross fader, transition . Im not sure if that was the main thing i noticed, but having a controller/mixer no joke. Alot of dj todat, play track list and add in beat effects and samples, With a launch pad. The mixer , is making those songs list go back and forth and even to the next song. In the turntables days, They had to middle crossfade , Very limited to scratching and going to the next song. Making the music was better, but the necssary equipment was limited .

They're actually special editions of the DJControl Mix! So they come with those new knob colors now. As for the EQ, that's one of the limitations of this device.

Unfortunately, I don't have the Starlight. Though it shouldn't be too hard to remap it using Serato DJ! Just head into the MIDI settings

I believe its analog on Serato would be Beat Grid, but I might be mixing up software effects. Let me double check!

Awesome mix! This is a great little controller! I had this briefly before getting the DDJ 200. I then swapped the DDJ 200 for the DDJ 400 😁

quick question. You seem to beat jump using the cue button. Did you map a hot cue to it? and if so, do you not use the normal cue button? thx :)
I did! I tinkered around with the mapping of Djay Pro to do that. I'd normally use the Cue buttons, but since I rehearsed this mix a bit, I already knew the ins and outs of the music
