    Is there enough weight for this to just drop and pin it’s self to the bottom ? Or how does it work

      @greatamericansurvival  Год назад

      Yes. It works very easily. I just install an anchor wizard winch and it’s awesome.

    I'm looking into this. You didn't show how you physically attached it to your kayak. Did you already have four holes to screw the long bolts into?

      If its an oldtown they have predrilled holes

      Looking at the website , this product isn’t designed for yaks that aren’t pre-rigged for this attachment. If you’re handy it wouldn’t be hard to figure out a way to set this up though

      Yes. My kayak is as stated in comments below, old town sportsman comes with the mount plate ready for a Power pole micro. If get you get one get an anchor wizard to reel in the line.

    How strong of current will this hold you in place in a river?

      Not sure, I’ve mostly used mine on the Chattahoochee and the Ocomoglee here In Georgia. I mostly use a drag chain if the current is to much.

      Which part are you asking about? The unit is a quickstop power pole from Yakgadget. It comes with the pole, mount and all the hardware to install it. It works great.

    Is there an option to add a metal spike to the pole and a handle for the top, just incase the bottom is hard packed sand?
