About the fun house scene: it might also be setting up the final confrontation with It and Bill, where It pleads to be spared. Maybe Bill considers it, just for a moment, but then remembers what he said to It before the kid was eaten: "please". Pennywise showed no mercy towards any of the children in Derry, so Bill doesn't show It any mercy either.
Yes yes yes!!! My attention was drawn in this whole analysis, BUT when you did your description of your own sequence of how the Adrian Mellon (I think I spelled his name right) situation played out in your head I could feel chills going down my spine and literally imagine everything happening! I never had a vivid imagination until just now lol. Thank you so much for this! I'm waiting on part 2.:
The Chinese Restaurant scene was actually a lunch in the book and the first place they all go when they get back to town. Afterwards mike tells them to take a walk through Derry and meet up that night at the library. In the new version if you have seen the leaked scene it is obviously a dinner at night. But I think it is still the first thing the losers do when returning to Derry. I think all the “meetings” with It like Mrs Kersh and Bill and the drain happen after the Chinese restaurant scene.
Nick Colbert How I somehow could’ve missed this is beyond me, and you’re absolutely right! :-) damn, this history with the book from all the way back to the 80’s and then the miniseries and everything blends together sometimes. That’s a bigass 1300pages book. But how I did not remember the way the Chinese stuff happened exactly, is kinda embarrasing, haha. :-)
Your accent is excellent! You could pass as American! And I love these IT videos you’ve done. I haven’t meant to nitpick. It’s just that you take such obvious care in making these videos I figured you would be the kind of guy to appreciate some “constructive criticism”. Cheers from the States! 🍻✌🏼. PS forgive my ignorance but are American films still released in dubbed versions in Europe or with subtitles in the cinema? Or is there an option of which to see? I’ve always wanted to know that.
Nick Colbert Don’t think anything of it man, I welcome constructive criticism, and especially when I f’ed up something so obvious from the book, that I claim to love so much. I definitely had a major brainfart there :-) Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words, it means a lot!! :-) Ps. Some places in Europe they do still dub the movies, but not in Denmark - and I would hate it if they did, haha. Cartoons and Pixar and so on is another thing, but real movies are never dubbed here (we just have subtitles) Germany though, I believe is another story! They dub their films still :-) Again thanks for watching and commenting man! :-) very stoked for september 6 :-) !!!
Actually tom isn’t her boyfriend, he’s her husband. Her name as an adult is Beverly Rogen. At some point in the book she laments to Bill or Ben (can’t remember which) that she “married her father” without realizing it.

Angel With The Fiery Sword That’s another good theory ;-)
