This has so much useful information for me to plan my trip. I was having hard time seeing the schedule and other info online so so grateful for your precise info. The sunset and sunrise are defiantly worth the trip and I haven't cruise since the start of Covid. This video is awesome! Gracias! 😁
Hi Mark! Oh that makes us so happy to hear. When we were booking it we couldn’t find any information so we set out to make a video to help those who want to do it!! Have a great day!
Thanks so much, Heidi and Adam! I think this video clinched it for us - we're taking the ferry when we come back to MX in May 2023. Your videos are so informative and fun! We appreciate YOU!
Netflix BABY! You two are remarkable. Another option may be the tourist bureau. Everything is getting more personal and as a former specialist in travel to Mexico, I have seen many tourism videos well done, but missing that personal touch. I see you as tourism ambassadors for Mexico. You're terrific and one way or another you will be even more rewarded for just being yourselves.
That sunset and sunrise! Wow, looks like a good way to travel. You just never know how rough the water will be. Thanks for a great video and all the information!

Another great video, you are both amazing. When I watch your video, I feel like I was there. I have taken the ferry several times, mostly in Europe and I have always enjoyed the trip. Keep up the great job and we look forward to the new journey you will share with us. Have a nice day
Glad you cruised with us!! I think the bad part would be if the seas were really rough and maybe sleeping in that room wouldn’t be so fun. But other than that I think it is a great way to travel!

Thanks for this! i've been curious about getting my dog to la paz since he can't fly. I've heard in one ferry the dogs are locked in the cargo hold for 24 hours and on another they can stay in your car if you bring one. Are they allowed in your suite if you rent one?

Thank you for being here and sorry to hear you are sick. We aren’t going home for the holidays this year. We were just home visiting and I told Adam I would spend Christmas with him this year since we are normally apart visiting our families!
Thanks for the detailed video of your voyage! Suzanne and I live 6 blocks from the Coors "Light" Brewery here in Golden, but wish we could have been along on the cruise with you! Thanks for sharing!
Hey guys, I always want it to do that, I live in Boston USA, moving back to my home state of Sonora, you must visit, Puerto Peniasco, (formally know is rocky point) the federal goberment is building this resort like Cancun, but in the desert, for the American states that don't have ocean, like Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, etc. it is awesome, it is is in the sea of Cortez , Named the worlds aquarium by Jacques Costeau.
I'm anxious to hear your take on Loreto. My wife and I have gone back and forth on La Paz and Loreto as possible places to retire to (as of this coming June.) Recently, we've become a little spooked on the idea because of nuances in the cost of buying a home (especially if we decide it's not for us and move back to the U.S. and have to bear the capital gains tax on the sale.) Still, we absolutely love La Paz and like the specific amenities of Loreto Bay (lap pool and golf course.) Can't wait.
@@TheCountryCollectors I know that is what everyone suggests. We have two medium sized dogs and like to be able to "customize" our home (fences, dog doors, etc.) to accommodate them. If it were just us, we'd definitely do that. Have a great time in Loreto (or, probably, I hope you had a great time in Loreto.)
Hi David! You should check the law First. In México Foreigners cant have/buy a Home or terrain to build their houses so get help First so u dont get scammed, check First the "fideicomisos" or a legal frontman and decided it quite well bc even if ur money the property is never yours!!
@@arturoc.tierrablanca7451 Muchas gracias, Arturo. If we do decide to move to Mexico, we plan to apply for permanent residency. We have also been working with very reputable agents who have documented histories with expats and use notarios who also have worked with expats on real estate transactions. And, of course, with the help of RUclips channels like this one, we have become well acquainted with the residency and fideicomiso process and the potential dangers. Actually, the "spooked" part of what I alluded to came almost entirely from "The Move to Mexico Bible" that I read recently. Honestly, it seemed that every chapter did more to discourage than encourage, but was filled with very good, practical information. The most concern I have is still a little vague. I've heard and read in a couple of places that the capital gains tax exemption would apply to a residence that has been owned for less than three years. However, in looking closer, I believe the law actually reads that one may claim the exemption if 1) you are registered as a resident of Mexico (unclear whether temporary or permanent - no issue for us,) 2) the residence is your primary residence (again, no problem,) and 3) the exemption can only be taken once ever three years. So, if that is actually the intent, I believe we would still be exempt even if we stayed there only one year. So, that's where we are right now. The capital gains tax is 25% of the GROSS sales price (i.e., a home that sells for $400,000 U.S. would cost $100,000 in capital gains tax, along with all the other costs associated with buying and selling a home.) In some ways, it's an interesting challenge to work our way through the advantages and disadvantages of moving to such a beautiful and interesting country (that being the first advantage.)
Those cabins are the way to go . I did 17 hours on a plane from Vancouver to Thailand in premium economy and that was a pretty miserable experience .. 😆
You guys are so positive, it is awesome. I am glad you had a great time. I personally thing the ferry is "meh". If you want to do it for the experience, sure, but it isn't that great . That plus, I do think it is cheaper and more convenient to fly. I thought it was interesting that they scanned your luggage when you got off, didn't they do that when you got on the ship? Anyhow, looking forward to your La Paz and Loreto videos. We have been to been to both of those destinations and enjoyed them a lot. In Loreto check out Orlando's it has a cool vibe, and there is paletas.
Hi! Thanks for sharing. Yeah I guess because it’s a port everything coming in has to be scanned again. We were in La Paz last year so just passing through to Loreto. We’re excited!
Thanks Heidi and Adam for sharing your experience on board! :) looks like you had a lot of fun and a great time. Next time you can try the gamer cabin.
I have had the opportunity to travel there on a business plan and it is very wonderful but that they saw the dolphins before arriving at La Paz, the ferry staff is very friendly
Awesome video as always, but was wondering what happened to the third instalment of Mazatlan. Weren't you going to do one on the Cerritos/new area in the North end?
Hey Aj. No we never planned to do that. Maybe because we broke it up into those 3 areas in the first video you thought we would. That would make sense! 😊
@@TheCountryCollectors LOL...see, now you're just tricking me! And here I was looking forward to your take on the North end...guess I'll just have to wait and see it for myself in January...😂😎
I'm so glad you made this vlog Heidi and Adam! After seeing this I'd totally take the overnight ferry to La Paz or Mazatlan and book a cabin. I'd have to do it during the cooler months since the cabins don't seem to have A/C. Do you know if the A/C in your cabin just wasn't working at the time, or if the cabins aren't equipped with A/C at all?
I think they are all equipped with AC but it just wasn’t working but it wasn’t by any means hot at night just a little warm. The fan was perfect. 👌 But yes I can imagine in the summer you’d definitely want AC! I’m so glad we did it and didn’t listen to others who said to avoid it. That’s a lesson we’ve learned while traveling. Always see for yourself - well most the time lol!
@@TheCountryCollectors, so sorry, I think I'm one of those who may have discouraged you because of what some of my friends have said after their crossing. If you're not prone to motion sickness and the swells aren't high it sounds like a great voyage/adventure!
WOW!! I had heard about this Ferry and would love to make this crossing. Thanks for all you share! You are the first ones to really give a glimpse into the ride and all the different options and expenses! All very valuable information! GRACIAS!!
Such a kind sweet couple x Thank you for sharing your journeys of Mexico with us all 💛 Moving to La Paz next month.. watching this gets me soooo excited 🙌🌊✨
We loved this video, we love you guys, you make the experience "nice" we do not love Bah Yuk Ferried Nightmare. We had a cabin it's the only must to travel on this vessel. Yes! Pack snacks and expect 16 hrs when you bring your vehicle it much more complicated for sure ! Please don't bring your pet. You're not allowed to check on them or return to your vehicle. They state animals must be able to stay in crate up 12-16 hours. The cabins are the best options for anyone who wants to rest well at night. OH My a tub !! And.I loved the balcony option 😍 yes the windows were really dirty! Food was disgusting 😒 oh well 🤷 I enjoyed the music and the bar!
Mi primeta vez con ustedes. He estado muchas veces en BCS y nunca la he recorrido con detenimiento. He llegado por avión desde Chihuahua así que no he tenido la oportunidad de viajar en el Ferry. This is Paul and Gloria..... In Oaxaca. Your videos are so so informative, as was this one about the crossing to La Paz. We are watching one of your old videos right now about Rosca de Reyes in Oaxaca, & your not in it. We assume you're on the camera as this was one of your early videos from January 2021?
I had no idea about this ferry. Thanks for featuring this! You two excel at vlogging. Your enthusiastic, thorough interpretation is an experience itself and brings a smile to my face. Appreciate you both!
Hello! Yes, Mazatlan is cool, we've taken different ferries from Baja, when we lived in Puerto Vallarta the ferry would go from La Paz to Vallarta overnight, always great but disappeared, now I think Topolobampo and Mazatlan are it. Went to Mazatlan with the car yet there was still an 8 hr drive to Vallarta. I've always loved Baja even when there was nothing there, now there is so many people!

That looks great! What is the best to have for money on you?
Pasos
You guys helped me a lot with your video's.
In january i am travelling to mexico for the second time, this time with my 4 year old son. 👌👍
Oh that’s so great to hear! We’re so happy for you!
how did you get the drone footage of the boat pulling away?
From a different day
Thanks Heidi and Adam for sharing your experience on board! :) looks like you had a lot of fun and a great time. Next time you can try the gamer cabin.
The gamer cabin! What’s that?
Once again loveya guys you are so very wellcome to México
❤️🙏🇲🇽🥰
Very nice and narrated. You guys truly showed us the ferry and encouraged to some day go aboard and enjoy it! Beautiful Mexico
That’s awesome! Thank you!
Ya viajaron por los 32 estados cada estado tiene pueblos y ranchos bien bonitos
Hemos estado en 20 estados ahora y todos son tan únicos y hermosos!
Wow what a sunset … gorgeous
It was fun out there! Everyone was enjoying it for sure!
Hey great clip guys! Thank you. Now I’m determined to do it too🙏
Awesome!! Thank you
I have had the opportunity to travel there on a business plan and it is very wonderful but that they saw the dolphins before arriving at La Paz, the ferry staff is very friendly
Oh wow!! What a beautiful sight. Yes they are!
Great video as usual guys, very informative, fun and entertaining, Adam got a tan!!
He’s so tan!!
Haha 😂 we drove by a few times and went to the marina and a bit north but didn’t explore it! Needed more time to do that. Have fun!
Great Job on this Video guys!!! Love to see you Raw and in your Mexico Element…
Thank you Jay!! We appreciate it!
What a beautiful sunrise is beautiful, another great video with interesting tips and advice 👍
Thank you
I'm so glad you made this vlog Heidi and Adam!
I always look forward for your postings….stay safe.
Hi Amy! Thank you so much for joining us!
WOW!! I had heard about this Ferry and would love to make this crossing. Thanks for all you share! You are the first ones to really give a glimpse into the ride and all the different options and expenses! All very valuable information! GRACIAS!!
It’s our pleasure!
Really nice room. I love seeing everyone having fun dancing, that is awesome.
Yeah they were ripping it up out there!!
So cool. Thanks for sharing
It’s our pleasure
The sunrise is beautiful
What a beautiful thing to wake up to!
That is one BIG ship!
It sure is!
Free beer! I'd say you are off to a good start.
Haha 😂
I really loved this video❤
Thank you Honey 🍯!
Such a kind sweet couple x
Thank you for sharing your journeys of Mexico with us all 💛
Moving to La Paz next month.. watching this gets me soooo excited 🙌🌊✨
Oh how wonderful! Thank you!
Very nice room for a ferry
We thought so too!
The music and bar was great! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Weird!
Keep having a great time. You're so easy going I'm sure you will!!!
That is odd! I wonder why? Is there no subscribe button? Well thank you so much for being here and for your support! We appreciate you.
Hi Paul! Oh Adam went out alone that day and did it himself! A fun little project he wanted to learn about. Good times!
Good Morning Heidi and Adam! I am excited for this one!
Good morning
I had no idea about this ferry. Thanks for featuring this! You two excel at vlogging. Your enthusiastic, thorough interpretation is an experience itself and brings a smile to my face. Appreciate you both!
Thank you so much Becky! We appreciate your support!
I am pretty sure you don't miss the snow! hahahaha, look at Buffalo New York and obviously Michigan !!
Omg I know!! 77 inches!!!
I rode ferries Guaymas Sta Rosalia, La Paz to Topolobampo, La Paz to Mazatlán, and San Lucas to Puerto Vallarta.
Prices 40 years ago were dirt cheap.
👍
Thanks for sharing! Wow I didn’t know they had one to PV before.
Bonita experiencia de viaje maravilloso y tan cerca de los EEUU 👍🏻💯🎯👏🏻🇲🇽🇺🇸
👍
