literally ICONIC episode. treat yo self! also i love seeing leslie's growth! she's so hard-headed and stubborn and competitive, but she's also such a thoughtful soul who's open-minded and constantly learns new lessons.
I like how she, unlike the boys, never complained about wanting to be in the other one more. And we never learn that she likes Rons more till the end when we see her join his club. A true Swanson would never whine or complain
O'Malley Caboose 5 It never even occurred to me that she had to like one more than the other. But I guess what we ultimately see at the end of the episode is the first time she would have even had the option to choose to attend a hardcore survivalist camp. I never considered that was what she might have been looking for all along.
Growing up my Boy Scout troop had a secondary group called Adventure Scouts where Girls Scouts would join the Boy Scouts on different trips and events but that was for 14 y/o and older. There is a benefit to teach separately but one thing you guys aren't considering. Co-ed camping trips with teenagers leads to a lot of irresponsible hooking up, skinny dipping at night, etc. It was fun but I'm so lucky that I didn't anyone pregnant that young in life. No matter how much parents try to watch kids, they're still out numbered and distracted
Life is co-ed. If a kid is gonna hook up and party they're gonna find a way to do it no matter what. They're no more likely to get in trouble on a camping trip that they are in every day life. (BTW camps are co-ed. I went to a co-ed camp for most of my teens and no one got pregnant. It was rare for teens to get in trouble for hooking up at all. It wouldn't be any different if the Scouts combined into one co-ed group.)
@ If a teenager wants to hook up, they will do so. They have literally dozens of opportunities to do so in normal life, so I don't see how making camps coed is gonna make the likelihood any higher. By the way, I know that. I was giving an example to show that having camps be coed isn't necessarily bound for sexual activity as some people might believe.
This was a really good episode. I also love how Ron and Leslie reconcile their differences and make each other better and wiser than before. P.S - Ron's club is my personal favourite.
I agree. Make a third “scouts”. It’s not that I don’t think girls and boys can be friends, or that they shouldn’t be (I think maybe 50% of my childhood friends were boys) but hanging out with the girls sleepover style is just so different. I know my guy friends have said the same thing. I hung out mixed all the time, extracurriculars, school, sports, etc. If I were a Girl Scout I’d personally want it to be all girls. A third mixed option is perfect!
I love Leslie, but I didn't like her very much in this episode. She had a great point, but the way she went about proving it was really disrespectful. She intentionally sabotaged Ron's club and destroyed what he built. For all their differences, their relationship is built on mutual respect. Ron would never disrespect Leslie like that.
I don't think she did that. She was just trying to even things out. And she did have a great point. Rob just selected the rangers based on gender, rather than their individual interests. This is why the ending worked.
That's the point of this episode. It showed bigotry goes both ways, It portrayed hypocrisy Through our main character. But what makes her a redeemable character that She learned from her mistakes. Flawless characters are boring yo, you need a hero's arc.
The Sweetums episode? Ron has tried to go against what Leslie wants before. They're both not perfect people. Ron is stubborn and Leslie is competitive. But they both know when to admit when they were wrong (unless Jerry is involved).
@T Mac Judging an entire show based on only 10 minutes. Nice judgment call there, homie. You're in the minority opinion on this one, sorry to tell you. It's a great show.
The gender thing: I feel like both girls and guys should be allowed to have a club with only their own gender because its true, after a certain age (and even before that age) the way boys and girls interact amongst themselves tends to be different from the dynamic when they are mixed. Day to day life is usually mixed and thats great. But there is nothing wrong with some girls and guys sometimes wanting to take a step back from it all and be amongst fellow boys or girls.
It goes both ways though I went to an all girls school and I hated it. It effected me to the point that if I made friends with a girl after I left school I would never expect the friendship to last because my school experience was so awful! When I left school and got a job I made so many male friends and I was initially scared of them because the nuns only ever said men only want women in their life for one thing but lo and behold nope someone can be nice to you without an expectation or ulterior motive.
@@lucysmith6530 of course. Thats why it should be optional and not exclusive. Im not in favour of seperated schools for example. But if kids or adults willingly want it in a small part of their life i am in favour of it.
I never understood why people think its a drag on women when a guy says that men want to do something without being distracted by females. Its a drag on us if anything.
I have complete amnesia regarding Chris having that hair for so many episodes...
I think he loses it in the next episode.
repressed trauma
honestly though
Do you mean, changnesia?
DIABETES!

Leslie needs and needed a LOT of growth
The girl in the green shirt joining the swansons was the one leslie was having a debate with.
this episode literally invented self-care
Dissapointed that the whole crew wasn't here for the treat yo self episode...
Kudos to whomever edited the gang for the intro!
Probably an 11 year old with windows movie maker
@@shoresy6927 Aha! So it was you
The little girl in the Swansons kids group was also in the Goddesses. I like that a lot.
I like how she, unlike the boys, never complained about wanting to be in the other one more. And we never learn that she likes Rons more till the end when we see her join his club. A true Swanson would never whine or complain

Everyone needs a Treat Yo Self day. Donna and Time have the right idea, sometimes you just gotta let yourself relax and be happy.
"This was a good episode"
They say it everytime now 😂🤣
"This is the episode that started the worldwide *pneumonia* TREAT YO SELF!" nice one whoever wrote the description
Tom earned a lot respect with that famous Joker line at the end.
I can’t be the only one who thinks that Millicent actually looks like jerry
"Milicent Bulstrode must have had a cat..."
But, Boy Scouts do have sewing... It's included in the Textiles Merit Badge.
I love Haley's style, she always looks amazing
garrison282 Haley here!!! Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!!! 😊
@@haleyemerson8808 you're an great addition to the Normies!! Hope to see you and homeboy in more videos
This episode has never gotten old

Because of this ep, when I treat myself it will always be two-thousand-leven in my heart. 💖
Parks and rec is a great feel good show, super wholesome
Honestly Leslies club seems like hell to me.
I hated that kind of thing as a kid.
O'Malley Caboose 5 It reminds me of what the Girl Scouts in my area were doing when I was involved. I hated Girl Scouts.
10:10-10:18... easily one of the best reaction moments ever 😂
First you laugh but later you cry because they got friend that support you
6:20 is that... Hawk from Cobra Kai?
17:42 Honestly, sounds like a great day to me
If I were going to treat myself, I'd probably bedazzle my elbows, though I'm late on the trend
12:55 that smack 🤣
This was a really good episode. I also love how Ron and Leslie reconcile their differences and make each other better and wiser than before.
P.S - Ron's club is my personal favourite.
That kid went from being a Pawnee Goddess to Hawk in Cobra Kai.
For Christmas I treat yo self a ten pound kitkat bar, I will eat it all, nobody else gets any
6:02 Get in loser, we’re going shopping.
Loved the Normies version of the Parks and Rec. intro (4:00) , lol. Sweet👌🏾
9:08 Holy shit, that's Hawk from Kobra Kai.. Obviously before he gets a badass tattoo, mohawk, and becomes a badass karate machine.
Jacob Bertrand when he was 10 or 11 years old.
I just realized who ben and tom remind me of it's mako and prince wu from legend of korra.
Micky, you didn’t treat yo self to your mixed Fun Dip!!!!!!
Yes TREAT YO SELF
Yay! An early upload. Thanks
6:20 - For those of you that watch Cobra Kai, this is Eli aka 'Hawk'.
Xone9 knew he looked familiar thanks
Pretty sure the boy ranger who wanted to join Leslie is Hawk from Cobra Kai.

I literally learned how to sew in boy scouts lol

Treat yo self day is October 13
I demand a rewatch with the full couch committee
.....”worldwide pneumonia”
You can just get an ear wash in the doctor’s office. At least at Kaiser you can; usually done by a nurse or medically assistant.
React to The Good Place. It's the best show you don't watch. You've got days of anime reactions, just give us some 30 minute comedies.
Guy12345 YES. Thank you!!! So many animes 😫
@T Mac Yes, just yes. What's wrong with you, lol.
@T Mac Lol ok. Have fun being wrong. It's a lovely show with a lot of good lessons we could all learn from.
@T Mac Judging an entire show based on only 10 minutes. Nice judgment call there, homie. You're in the minority opinion on this one, sorry to tell you. It's a great show.
Did your description mean created the worldwide 'phenomenon'? Cuz pneumonia is something totally different..

A bit late to the party, but the Halo love is appreciated. It would be dope to have a Master Chief costume - or an ODST one!
TREAT YO' SELF!
Got to say i would rather be in Rons club.
Spoken like a true gentleman.
Sad Suraj wasn’t here for this episode
man, the sound is really bad in this video
the microphone is from the 1980's and is 20 feet away and is stuck inside an old empty soup can
first name that's a funny way of putting it
The room is just really echoey.
This episode is FIRE!
AJ s intro .... nice lol
I know I might’ve missed something but what happened to Suraj?
He died.
He’s trying to grow a full Ron Swanson mustache and isn’t ready for his reveal yet.
I love your outfit & look, Marketa!
Nice one guys
AJ = Weeb Master confirmed
But seriously, it sounds relaxing.
If you did more than one episode a week, you may not have missed Treat Yo Self day...Just saying...
Pawnee Goddesses: I yearn for true gender equality.
Too much echo. When are you going to do more episodes? You're doing every other show, why not this one?
I'd rather camp with Ron. RIP that good ol Man life.
love!!
I never understood why people think its a drag on women when a guy says that men want to do something without being distracted by females. Its a drag on us if anything.
Wtf, they're drinking McDees in every video, like how are they not getting fat, especially Haley.
