I believe those continuous awards were to catch Indian cosmetic markets...and all those pagent winners served Bollywood and endorsed various cosmetic companies setting single western beauty standard to beautiful multicultural indian women... isn't it agreeable??
@Sangita Banikya it's my view over beauty contest...Indian miss world's..."beauties with purpose".. adorned silver screen didn't they do?.. winning the pagent is the door way to Bollywood, advertisement and money and more money...it is the same for any celebrity...male or female.... setting beauty standard through these contests is "ridiculous" not my comment...too judgemental...
