Bushperson, knifemaker, woodsperson, animal lover, poet and philosopher... And if all that wasn't enough, you are a very creative video director. If I knew how envy felt I would most definitely envy you. I watch all your team of bushcrafter's videos [Paul, Zed, Mike, etc.], and love the education in them all, but I have to say I really love the way you incorporate the romance and poetry, not to mention the history of the bushcrafting world with the practical teachings of it. Not that I am remotely creative enough to judge, but in my eyes you sir are a true artist. You have a lovely dog too. Thank you so much for sharing your skills and words.
Hi Sandy. Nice areal views. Great wild camp and fox walking. For me it is harder to do than it looks! Your dog is always comfortable, when you're nearby! I like the tracker knife design. It looks very comfortable. Nice camp setup. Connection back to our ancestors... interesting thoughts.... Thanks for the shoutout, "Leave your campsite better than you found it." Peace, Ken
Top notch video Sandy! Love your bushcraft television channel, and as soon as this deep freeze eases up I hope to tune in as well. -26f windchill right now and too dangerous to get out on my snowshoes. It's wonderful to watch your video knowing that spring will find me soon and to remain hopeful. Terrific new knife! Give Elsa a pat for me, and peace and happiness to you and your family. Sincerely, Ossie
Thanks Ossie, I am sure it will start to warm up over there soon. Spring is just around the corner. Hope you can get out soon. Hope also your back doesn't cause too much of a problem for you. I too have a back problem though it is not too bad at the moment. sandy
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. I really appreciated the work you took to film and edit, great video, ll the way around. Your tracker knife looks to be about the perfect size for a general use/woods knife. Keep it up, I'm off to watch some more of your videos. Joe
Glad to see you out and getting "dirt time" it is important to recharge the batteries sometimes. The Tracker looks great, easily dealing with camp craft by the looks of it. Thanks for sharing . Atb Tom
Great video Sandy , good to see you take a break from work and get out and about ! love the aerial views ! nice camp set up and area , really enjoyed my friend atb john
Hi John, The Laplander sheath is awesome man. Youse knows it was made by a leather smith. The Laplander is a great saw. Laplanders are great Saw smiths
Great video Sandy. Takes me back to when I was a young lad, out every weekend come rain or shine. You're camp set up is spot on mate, loved every minute of it.
Thanks for that Sandy. It was a nice way for me to spend what is left of the weekend before the darkness that is Monday morning descends. I loved the interaction between you & Elsa & the hooting owl & shots of the moon were nice touches. I bet you were wondering if flying the quad-copter over that pond was a good idea at the time though ! All the best, Neil.
Sandy, well organized, very much entertaining camp video with Elsa. Enjoyed what I saw around you. Your trakker knife seems to work pretty well, too. Great week to you! Atb, Osmo
Wonderful video Sandy . Absolutely love this one . Fell completely calmed while watching it ! Goodness knows why someone give this a thumbs down !!!!!!! More fool them !!!!!
Another great video Sandy - some nice little reminders in there for us. I am lucky, In my work I am in tune with the Victorian Gardeners and at Old Allens I am closer to the old woodsmen - I try to keep them in mind - they knew far more than I. Always a joy to learn.
A great night out Sandy! Interesting to see the ridge a furrow field system taken back to woodland. I liked your idea of reconnecting though thoughts and campfire reflections to our ancestors, it's something I do when watching a fire. Thanks, Al
My father used to say that fire was the original television. There is something about having a camp fire that almost feels like home sometimes to me. Thanks for sharing mate. Cheers.
Great vid Sandy I really enjoyed it, I always find your wild camping videos very relaxing. The Jacklore Tracker looks great another masterpiece to add to your arsenal :) Take care my friend. Luke.
Always a pleasure watching you camp out and I learn things myself, such as cutting slightly into the wood before levering it, very smart. Am twitching to get out myself soon so cant wait, oh and stunning prototype for your new blade, looking forward to seeing how that unfolds ~Peace~
A great video, those shots from the quad copter really gives that professional look and feel to it. Its great also that you have permission to use woodlands and are free to light fires. atb Si
what a lovely vid Sandy, I was smiling all the way through :) Elsa is a true woodland companion. The saving energy with the snapping of the logs is a good idea Sandy, I always find myself cursing as it tightens up on the blade. That shot over the pond looked magical. The tracker is looking like a great addition to the line up. I wonder what would have been going through the minds of ancient man when sitting around a small fire like that. Would they be thinking about the future or contemplating what went on in the past? atb Richie.
Great vid Sandy I like the birds eye view at the start and end of the video, its something different. I Know what you mean about the bush craft TV i love to just sit and listen to the surroundings. stay safe my friend ATB Paul
Just had my 2nd watch Sandy. What a spectacular video! Just well done from the get go. Great inspiring thoughts and things to ponder. Thank you for sharing that. -Chris
Cracking camp matey, and a nice chat about how our ancestors lived. Something I think about too when alone in the woods. Its a fascinating subject. That Lavvu looked quite snug and weatherproof, and blended in nicely to the surroundings. Your new Tracker knife looks quality too, I like it! :-) Nice video, thanks for sharing! ATB
Appreciating nature and enjoying our earth captured perfectly in this fantastic video. Really made me feel I wanted to be there. We have lost so much in our busy lives and looks like you've reclaimed some of that in this wild camp trip. Just wonderful. Cheers Matt
Self and my two sons really enjoyed this video Sandy. Thank you for putting it together , will keep an eye on the website for the knife , like it very much.atb Rob
Hi Sandy & Elsa, have been camping for 20 yrs, and just learned a new trick (using the tree to snap the half sawn wood), great video, and never knew it was you who made them beautiful knives....great work. As you say, camping gets us all back to what our ancestors did everyday, sometimes i wonder where we went wrong. The bush tv never gets old, and always learning new ways to improve our skills just adds to our own enjoyment. Just subbed, stay well, all the best and keep those vids coming, though know you have plenty of work-just looked at your web site for knives, you must be flat out. Much respect, take care.
Thanks Stu, I am quite busy with the knives but I try and work to live. I need to get out for a camp every so often. Thanks for watching and subbing. I will check out your channel Sandy
Wiltshire Man I don't have a channel Sandy (Master of the Blade). I am on of these people who enjoy it too much to worry about filming, i may one day make some video's, as i see i have made some things other people havent thought of. I totally understand your work to live attitude, i am the same. Loved the ending of this video where you raised the palm of your hand-it has been a greating for many thousands of years. From American indians, to the middle east, you will see Buddha, Krishna etc showing us a white palm, as if to say forget your colour, we are one. Take care...Stu.
Love this vid Sandy, always watched your jacklore vids until bout a month ago when I saw this channel. Great music choice and production as always. The area you were in was beautiful. Take care... Cheers
Hi Sandy, Always great to see you and Elsa sharing some good old dirt time together. I'm looking forward to going out with my faithful hound soon. Outstanding video as usual my they are always a shear pleasure to watch. All the very best Simon
Ridge & Furrow.... interesting site. Your dog is adorable Sandy...they are so keen to be a part of our lives. I must say it looked mellow there in that wood. No doubt the light. May I ask what camera you used? The quality of footage was great. And that knife and fire...beautiful! Watched all the way through. Many thanks and peace bro. Mark.
Lovely peaceful time spent enjoying nature. Really calms the body and soul. Must get out myself soon, all these vids are making me restless to get out!! Is that a gransfor small forest axe? If so how do you find it? I have the wildlife and love it. Cheers Mary
Realy nice vid Sandy I've missed the Wiltshire man's camps, I know you've had a lot on your plate. I also watched your last weyland smithy (is that right?) vid and just to let you know, the first vid you made of it is one of my favourite vids on RUclips! All the best mate
Thank you sandy for producing such a great video, I really enjoyed your overnight camp. Your videos are of an amazing quality just like your knives. Fantastic fire lighting skills with the flint and steel. ATB mate see you soon.
Beautiful video. I save these gems up for weekends like this when I can't get out. Really feels like I am there w/you. Worked today (Sat) and tomorrow, Sunday. Have to take the opportunity to work the overtime when I can, so I can afford to go out and get lost in the woods another time. I always ponder the Indians that were in my area for thousands of years before me and my thoughts parallel yours. The south was a harsh difficult land, but bountiful. My thought usually revolve around how they dealt with the uncomfortable conditions of temperature, insects and animals. Sometime I just wonder what they thought about when they watched the bushcraft television. I do appreciate another Sat night spent here with you. Thanks for sharing these with us. ATB2U - Stanley
Thanks Stan, Your like me. A thoughful man. The indians I am sure knew how to live with nature and be a part of it and not apart from it. They knew how to conserve and care for the environment. Glad you enjoyed the video. Sandy
All of your vids are wonderful but this one just stands out so well. Both of you are so genuine and happy! We had yet another Nor'Easter and got 14.5 inches of snow this time! The snow flakes were huge, like saucers at one point. It looked like intricate pieces of the clouds were falling down. I wished for a stop motion camera! I had loads of free time on my hands. lol. It's March madness I need to get out soon. No Russian spies around there!
Oh how I love Romney's Kendall Mint Cake! I discovered it when visiting friends in the U.K. several years ago and kept my final bar of it in my freezer "in case of emergency" until I was lucky enough to have my daughter bring me back some more after she was in London this past summer. Any place I've found that sells it in the U.S. wants outrageous prices, and it costs more to ship it here than it does for the mint cake. Gives me good reason to revisit the U.K. Give your pup a scratch for me.
Fantastic video Sandy, I really enjoyed it and a beautiful friend you have there and here are something you may like to know. Cayenne pepper and how it is really good for stopping bleeding and th he health benefits are fantastic to . As seen on RUclips and the health benefits of canary seeds on RUclips as well . All the best and hope to see lots more of your videos. Thanks, Andrew.
Hi Sandy, after a stress full day at work, it's good to come home and totally chill out on a Wiltshire man videos. This one is no exception. great music and amazing content. After seeing the countryside and places i never new existed in your videos i never want to go abroad anytime soon. THANKS FOR THAT.
Lovely video, Sandy. Perhaps your best in some respects. I'm quite envious because the weather where I live in New England in the US is still extremely cold for over a month, and snow is all around us. I would truly like to get out like you've done in this video and see a warmer side of nature again.
Really nice video and Dirt Time there. Got steered to your channel from Ken K's whom I have liked for a few years now. Now I am going to have to catch up on all of yours while I wait for the feet of snow to melt in my few acres of woods. All The Best to You and that nice little friend you have there !
"Animals before Humans". I know a dog that would certainly agree with you there. Thank you for taking the time to record and share your outdoor journeys Sandy. I always enjoy your videos, especially when they have an historic element. The trip to Weylands Smithy was a personal favourite. Keep up the grand work. All the best.
Sorry to stick my nose in sandy, But chocolate is really bad for elsa and dogs in general..I,m told its quite toxic for dogs....Just an headsup sandy and a little consern for your best friend who i know you would,nt dream of harming. Anyway Thankx for yet another Entertaining video.....Me an my missus love em...Cheers sandy
Hello I love your videos but sometimes the sound varies a lot. I imagine its when the camera is farther away. In any case would you consider wearing a microphone? -George
Amazing video Sandy, stunning. You're one of the few channels I could watch all day. It's nice to see you relaxing and enjoying yourself. Your bond with Elsa is precious, you're like me, animals before humans. Lol. Whenever I'm stressed, I just watch one of your vids. Take care, be safe, hugs to Elsa. Atb..... Diane.
Thanks Sandy I think I like your wild camp videos best of all. Your enjoyment of the freedom of the moment and confidence in your abilities shines out for us all to enjoy. Peace is exactly the right word. Noel
Thanks Noel, I think Ken has set the trend with those words. Really enjoyed this camp and I think this videa has rasied the bar for all future videos now. I must try harder. 11
Hi Sandy love your channel,Im a Lavvu user too,may I say from experience in a few storms I find it best to have the buttoned side of the Lavvu out so the rain cant drip in the vents, and silicone mixed with white spirit so its paint like and painted on inside of all the stitching makes for 100% waterproof job with the fabsil outside.I dont mind the extra 4 kilos when I have a nice fire outside, cant beat the canvas, keep well friend.
It was great going on this outing with you Sandy and when you put the pot on the fire and let your mine go I had to mute my TV to listen carefully cause I felt it the journey. Thanks Sandy for sharing this adventure with use. You should do video's like this every so often they are very powerful.
Thanks Ruben, I hope to be able to make more videos of a similar nature. You have to have a real passion for this otherwise it won't come across in the video. It just so happens that I am very interested in our ancestors. They knew a lot more than we give them credit for. All the best Sandy
I really enjoyed this vid . When you were sitting by the fire talking it had me feeling really relaxed and cosy. And I always learn something new. Look forward to the next one . Take care sandy. From gareth

My dog is a gem. She is a real friend.
Sandy
"Animals before Humans". I know a dog that would certainly agree with you there. Thank you for taking the time to record and share your outdoor journeys Sandy. I always enjoy your videos, especially when they have an historic element. The trip to Weylands Smithy was a personal favourite. Keep up the grand work. All the best.
Thanks Tom
Wayland Smithy is also a favourite place of mine.
Sandy

Hello I love your videos but sometimes the sound varies a lot. I imagine its when the camera is farther away. In any case would you consider wearing a microphone?

Amazing video Sandy, stunning. You're one of the few channels I could watch all day. It's nice to see you relaxing and enjoying yourself. Your bond with Elsa is precious, you're like me, animals before humans. Lol. Whenever I'm stressed, I just watch one of your vids. Take care, be safe, hugs to Elsa. Atb..... Diane.
Thanks Diane,
Elsa is a precious dog thats for sure.
Thanks for watching
Sandy
Thanks Sandy
I think I like your wild camp videos best of all. Your enjoyment of the freedom of the moment and confidence in your abilities shines out for us all to enjoy. Peace is exactly the right word.
Noel
Thanks Noel,
I think Ken has set the trend with those words. Really enjoyed this camp and I think this videa has rasied the bar for all future videos now. I must try harder.

Cute doggy! Little dogs can be such great company and friends while out in the wild. I hope to be going out into the wild soon. Great vid! Hugs :)
+Dazzar wildcamp Thanks Daz
Amazing video, Enjoyed it very much!!
Thankyou for watching:)
Great to see you out amongst the trees, I am currently in a forest, so dark and so quiet...good for the soul.
It is Bry, soak up those good vibes:)
Great video sandy!
It was great going on this outing with you Sandy and when you put the pot on the fire and let your mine go I had to mute my TV to listen carefully cause I felt it the journey. Thanks Sandy for sharing this adventure with use. You should do video's like this every so often they are very powerful.
Thanks Ruben,
I hope to be able to make more videos of a similar nature. You have to have a real passion for this otherwise it won't come across in the video. It just so happens that I am very interested in our ancestors. They knew a lot more than we give them credit for.
All the best
Sandy
I really enjoyed that. I have been watching your videos for a while, they have all been good, but I think this is the best. Thank you.
Thanks I would agree with you. I had a fantastic camp hope I cam make more vodeos of equal or better quality. I will certainly try.
Thanks
Sandy
