Yes, the 1,000m+ drop is scary and quite shocking in comparison to trails in Hong Kong. Eventually, you get used to it (not if the weather's bad!) Watch my next video for even scarier trails!! I filmed it so you can get the experience while being safe at home 😆
Hey Vivek, the video was filmed mid-August. I haven't tested the trails on other months, but late May/June seems to be the time snow dissipates. Much of the trail is over 2000m in elevation, I would look for weather forecasts or reports for the days you plan to visit. This is one of the options. www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Gafleispitz/forecasts/2000 If you happen to hike in the marginal months, be safe and let us know the conditions which will be helpful for others!!

Looks like bear country, do you need to carry bear spray repellant on these trails?
No bears in this area, it's also not an extremely quiet trail so it's fairly safe (animal-wise)
I want to do this while I visit the area in 3 weeks. Does this route have the metal ropes the whole time?
Only a few dangerous areas have metal ropes. I barely needed to use any of them. Hope you enjoy your trip!
What month was this trek video tapped in? And by which month does the snow on Liechtenstein's peaks melt away?
