Bloody hell, the gondola rides are so expensive 😢 I’d be cursing the whole way! The nature there is so insanely beautiful, though, worth every cent you spend on anything, I guess.
That is the exact opening day for the cable car so based on their website it should be good to go! Of course everything is subject to change so if you want to guarantee you’ll be able to do it this hike, then push it a bit further if possible!
Which month did you hike oeschinensee? I am planning to go this year 18th may.Is that a good time? Gandola is opening from 9th May but will the view be good in May mid?

Yes that’s around the same time we went and it was perfect! We loved this lake and cannot recommend it enough 😍

It look us less than an hour! And yes you can definitely head back down the same way if you didn’t want do the loop!

I KNOW RIGHT? Everything is crazy expensive but we have to admit, it’s so well ran and I mean come on… it’s hard to beat those views!
Can we plan the hike on 10th May, 2025.? Will the cable car be open? How good will be the scenary, weather? Anyway nice video.

We hiked it in early October! In May there’s a possibility of snow or ice on the lake but the trails themselves should be okay!
How long is the total hike time from start to finish? Not counting the cable car. I would not say I'm particularly a fast hiker. Thanks
It should take about 3-4 hours! It can definitely take longer with lunch breaks and just enjoying the scenery more 🥰
