I really must have a problem! I just really enjoy watching other people wash cars and this music just makes me feel at peace. How come it's so much more relaxing to watch other people wash cars than it is for me to watch them? LOL
hey Colton...i just purchased my M3 performance in this color but with the carbon black interior...love your attention to detail!👌👍it's making rethink who i am gonna have detail my car now...quick questions.....where can i get that charge port plaid overlay like this customer has? and the black tesla logos?...
The Silver color really comes to life in the sun as all of Tesla's colors do to some extent. Personally, I love it and I enjoy what you do in these videos. I learned a lot about how to take care of my paint.
Great work 🙂 on the detail. I also have a Model 3 Performance In Quicksilver I picked up on August 24Th. It’s personal preference but the wheels do not go with the car at all. They look like the base Model Y wheels and the mud flaps also ruined the look. The wheels I installed on mine are proper forged Motorsport wheels. Look a lot better. Are also 7 pounds lighter than my original Work Wheels that came with my car. I installed the Work wheels on my wife’s 2024 Model Y Performance.
Definitely the best color Tesla is offering today. I think it's fair to say this is probably the best looking Model 3 on planet earth since it is the only one with the best color that has had the Coleton treatment. :)
Nice video - I think you should take it outside in the end - detailers lights are extremely uniform and the Quicksilver requires angular light to reflect the depth and make Quicksilver dynamic.
Appreciate your videos. Can you share a link to a good head lamp ? I looked at your Amazon list but didn't see one. PS saw your Short on the Cybertruck ceramic you've been testing. Hope to see a full length video soon!
Looks great and torn between the silver and red they offer! Can't wait to see what the model 3 perf does on the range test with the square set up on 18" wheels.
This was great. I liked the new format. However I’d would like to have heard more of your professional opinions about this paint job vs other manufacturers paint.
@@OutofSpecDetailing Yes, sorry ... I am new to your channel and I found it a few minutes later. I am excited to watch it soon, it's in my watch later list. I've watched the main Out of Spec channel for many years ... love your work. I wish I lived nearby to take advantage of your services.
What brand and model of rims are they? Do you now have the same tire size front and rear? I have a 2024 M3P and I want to put 18" to have more autonomy but I need rims that don't hit the brakes. Thank you from Spain
I just came back from Tesla. Looked at quicksilver and it looks just plain silver to me. The pearl white and red looked best to me. The white multicoat has like a pearl sheen to it. Also all the cars I saw orange peel on.
I am apparently the only person that thinks this color looks super unremarkable. Seen it on a bunch of Teslas now and it just kind of looks like a grey you'd see on a Rav4. IMO, Ultra Red is the best color on the Highland 3.
That Quicksilver looks awesome but frankly, I'm just happy I haven't been all caught up in this after market paint enhancement. I have a 2021 M3 LR, Midnight Grey. I wash it once and awhile when showing dust but don't go overboard. I just love driving this thing but at 82, my driving needs are very, very light.
Some smart bastard is making a hell of a lot of money on those ridiculously small bottles, they probably don't cost a bit more to produce than regular preparations that you buy at the petrol station. Damn how easy it is to fool people these days. Washed my MYP 24 and applied Turtle's ceramic paint protection and got at least as good as shown in the video.😁👍🇸🇪
Strange...what am I missing - THAT is a totally new car and it has dust, smears, scratches on it and needs to be polished, so it's not a 2, 3 year old car that gets polished up to be sold?!
You really are the master of your craft Coleton! Looks great

I think it is a disease, I suffer from the same symptoms too.
Same!! I should wash my car… nah, I’ll just watch Coleton
yep count me in, totally therapeutic
You are very good at what you do sir. Love seeing others as obsessed as myself. Small percentage even amongst detailers as a whole.
Just want to say I love your passion for cars. You are a great guy thank you
Damn, you did a really good job paint correcting that car too!
Love these types of videos. Don’t care how long it is. It’s relaxing
Beautiful job and love watching you work your magic. BTW car wash mode helps to stop charge port opening etc. keep up the great work.
Great video along with a great explanation!
How do you usually tackle the rust on brake rotors?
Keep up the good work, KUDOS!!!!
Oh, I like those wheels. I didn’t see those I commented at the very beginning I like the black ones!
Nice video, love the overhead camera view. Ty Colton.
That’s one I need to use more!
How good does that look… so nice. You’re such a perfectionist Colton.
I too prefer the black wheels and the black branding.
Really enjoyed watching the process. Very informative.

Beautiful work !!! The car looks stunning !!!
Can you share the link for the front and back black-out emblems?

It looks even better at night when light hits it. One was parked next to my '24 SG M3P and it looked stunning, like a wrap.
Sick video as always. Do you have a video explaining why you wash after the cutting stage?
Compound dust! It gets everywhere!
Great work 🙂 on the detail.

Enjoy the new format with a little more detail & fewer timelapses. Great detail!
Thanks for noticing, this takes much longer to edit and shoot. Curious to see how folks react to this format

Not a car related question but what is that music track you are using? I really enjoying it.

Yooo, i was just dreaming about this EXACT spec M3P yesterday. Impeccable timing!
Great Job! Can you share estimate on what to expect to pay for all of these services at a professional shop?
Very dependent on location, urban cities (LA, Miami, Etc) will always be more expensive. This at a reputable shop will be around $3000+
Really enjoy this type of video - thanks!
Appreciate your videos. Can you share a link to a good head lamp ? I looked at your Amazon list but didn't see one.

what kind of wheels and tires are those. how do they differ from the stock?

What did you use for the matte black emblem for the front and rear ? Thanks for your hard work on the videos.
This was great. I liked the new format. However I’d would like to have heard more of your professional opinions about this paint job vs other manufacturers paint.
Made an entire video about that, it’s the video before this one

Whats the range like with that wheel setup? I love a big tire.
Link to those silver rims? Or model name? I can't seem to find an exact match on the googles.
When will we get a Coleton in the North California area? 😅
This is satisfying to watch
When did you change the chrome embalm to black?
I just came back from Tesla. Looked at quicksilver and it looks just plain silver to me. The pearl white and red looked best to me. The white multicoat has like a pearl sheen to it. Also all the cars I saw orange peel on.
Great video, thank you. Do you always do another wash after paint correction? Do you use a different soap, ie low PH?
Always, to get the compound dust off! Ph neutral
Curios, why no clay bar before paint correction? I know it’s new, but aren’t there SOME contaminants before machining?
I’m not a fan of clay unless absolutely necessary. Will make a video soon!
@ awesome!….I was surprised at how good the car looked in the final results! Nice work!
Ooo not even sort of true!
@@OptimumSlinkywhere did you hear that?!??😂
Hey brother, have you had any problems with the placement of the battery on the HLR15 or are people over exaggerating?
Over exaggerated. Just move the machine and hand placement!
I actually like the stock wheels better on this particular color.
I just realized that Out of Spec Motoring and your channel are affiliated.👍
How did you remove the old wheel weight adhesive?
Adhesive remover and way too much patience
@@OutofSpecDetailinguse a 3M decal remover wheel, it comes off like butter.
Doesn’t reach on heavy concave wheels
Such a nice color car, but ruined by that awful choice of wheel color. The stock warp wheels look way better
Yes, the factory Work wheels look way better than the wheels he has on the car
Good job !
Amazing car.
Is OOSDave not bringing you his Tesla too?
Wheels would look much better in a darker shade to match the black door handles and dark accents.

I like the new rupee 24 volt battery powered buffer
Sauce on those wheels?
Gyeon Mohs EVO
@OutofSpecDetailing thanks! Appreciate it bruvs!

Quicksilver with silver wheels looks…. off to me

Welcome to all new cars 🫡 They all have imperfections
@@OutofSpecDetailing
Those rims look so bad on quicksilver... They look like the terrible rims on the model Y before they went to black
Terrible alloys though
And that steering wheel cover😂
First!!!
The rims suck, but nice ride
