You could use some polytunnel repair tape. It's a good idea to get 4 tall round posts and whack them into the ground on the inside of all 4 corners of the frame and attach the frame to them with cable ties. This will help to protect the frame from the wind a bit. Your allotment is looking lovely!

Thank you. Another plot holder at my allotment was recommending something very similar. There must be a fault with the cover as it was fine when I packed it away, and it’s the seams of the cover that have come away from the plastic. Love the posts idea, thank you again.

You are going to love your water collecting set-up.. I started last season and it is great to have rain water handy. Leave room to expand your system!

Still can’t get over in what great condition it’s in! I still need to set it all up right when I get the chance.

Hi Lucia, Radish are milder grown in spring and late summer. It's the heat that makes them hotter, and they're more likely to bolt too. I'm not sure how long it's worth sowing them once the really warm weather starts. X

Anything on top ideal is scaffold netting but some net curtains will work any questions feel free to comment happy gardening Richard x
