Yes wearing seat belts in the second/third rows is a necessary safety habit we still not picked up in India yet. But we shall be careful when traveling on highways.
Regarding your query I presume you asked for Gloster.
Cabin Noise:
The inside insulation is decent enough to block the engine noise by almost 80% (if I may put in figuratively)
But with music system on you don’t really feel outside noise at all. It has a twelve speaker music system and I am overall satisfied with its acoustics and bass performance being a music aficionado myself. Like in cars of Volvo and Mercs the bass speakers are in front instead of rear therefore the sound quality is top notch.
MG has offered a free subscription to the GAANA APP with decent selection of all western, Indie, Pop, Bollywood music and it is voice enabled.
Like if I say “Hello MG play Arijit Singh” it does catch and start playlist of the singer.
2. Headlights
They are automatic full LED TECH lights with full time running DRLs
The range is decent and it also adjusts itself automatically depending upon the road conditions. So the drive condition is in total dark like on a highway or in a field the range adjusts itself automatically to full beam offering a complete front view at a sizeable distance in front of the car.
Honestly till now we have driven cars with Two segments below this category so may be other cars offer equivalent or better than this performance in terms of music system and lighting.
But as an Indian customer we felt that when we can spend less on after sales service and maintaining car for a decent lifetime of five to seven years by getting a decent performance then there is practically no point in selecting luxury segment cars (Audi Merc BMW) just for the sake of status symbol.
This was our reason of selecting Gloster.
The road presence of this car is top notch. 🔥

Mai Delhi me rehta hu inke service center se yeh problem resolve nahi ho paa rahi.
3 baar gaadi service center hoke aa chuki hai.

Even we bought a gloster recently after looking for a replacement for our GLS as it was very dated. It literally feels damn premium! exactly like our gls 350d. Mg is doing a good job and i hope they continue to do so! Good luck mg and I'm proud to be a part of the mg family.

@@Snehilojha sure I don't like the backside of the car it's very overdone. Secondly, the second row doesn't have sun shades if they had added it, it would have been a cherry on the cake but it's not a major issue. Thirdly, it's not that pocket friendly it gives round 7-9 kmpl. Fourthly, it's a bit sluggish in the beginning. So overall I conclude that it doesn't have any serious cons which will deny/refrain you from buying the car!

Overall a great, practical review. Though the owner should have mentioned the fuel consumption of Gloster in different driving conditions, that isn't mentioned anywhere in such a detailed review. Surprising! Please cover that, with same owner as his usage pattern matches 90% of Indian car owners.
May be because if u can afford that costly vehical u don't look at milage and his range was 15 to 65...

@@shubhchoudhary9180 Hi the fuel mileage is 11 kms in ECO driving mode. In sport mode though mileage drops in the range of 7 kms per litre. I mostly drive in ECO mode whether in city or on highways. We did discuss about mileage, probably it got edited in final draft. Mileage is definitely important for any segment car buyer. Same is with me. Many thanks for your kind praise and response. This is indeed a very good car. The best part is that it is actually a seven seater and not a pseudo seven seater with a cramped up last row. If I am not wrong it has a boot space of 518ltrs with all rows up , which is a very good

All in all a complete chinese car with its roots in china. Gloster is not product of MG. They rebadge MAXUS D90 which is Chinese car.

@@mvkishore definitely it’s a very nice car. Proud feeling that Mahindra has done great work in putting ADAS (level2 I think) features. And it shows in big booking numbers
Like I tried to put forward that Indian buyers have a good mix of options available in all price segments and model categories.
Earlier there were limited options.
Which is a good thing to see.
If you notice in past five years lot of things have changed in terms of features, safety and benefits a car has to offer.
Cars which offer something extra are winning
So it’s a clear indication that if cos bring a product which delights Indian buyers we are ready to accept it with insane booking numbers

If anyone owns a gloster add a custom exhaust system just like the fake ones installed as recently a person had his gloster rear ended, and the price of one set of those exhausts were a whopping 36k! 72k for both sides!

As he rightly pointed, all your friends point you to a fortuner. @@flsxhyperbgmi8518 Bhai, mileage is definitely important. Now that electric cars are in market, as a car buyer one definitely is alert about per kms cost. Gloster logs in range of 11 kms per litre of diesel, Which I think is fair. We have driven Scorpio also and feel this is decent numbers, when unlike Scorpio this car is running a twin turbo engine with so much of torque on offer. In driving mode the 11 kms is under ECO DRIVE MODE SELECTION. In SPORT MODE though the mileage drops to 7 kms but the performance is nowhere not less than BMW X5 or the Range Rover.

So many safety features. But have doubts whether it will work in time or not. MG's after sales service is very good. It's required as you can see very frequently Service Center's carriers carrying MG cars which are stopped working suddenly.

Till 45000 kilometers or 3 years
We have a prepaid maintenance plan.
This prepaid maintenance plan was included in the ex showroom cost of the car.
Maintenance Plan includes:
We don't have to pay anything for fluids (including 4x4), filters, service charges and taxes.
All labour charges are free.
Plus we are covered for new price change at the time of service in case of increase in cost of fluids and tax change.
We paid extra 32000 and extended warranty of the car to 5 years with unlimited kilometers.
Plus we also got 5 years free road side assistance.

It has got a ladder frame chassis or monocoque?
Gloster has body on frame chassis, designed to handle off roading capabilities & heavy lifting. For better handling & maneuverability body on chassis is required. It’s a car which can carry seven people so it needs heavy lifting plus the powerful twin turbo engine. So it needs a body on frame chassis instead of monocoque.

In terms of Service no doubt MG is great. I have MG Hector & when there is service due; they themselves calls & tell us your service is due do u want to give it to service & if yes then which time/day they should come & pick !!!
Overall totally satisfied with MG service & car the only thing I don't like is that I have petrol variant & it's mileage is just around 7km/l which is pretty low 😅
