Falcons and Texans had a deal for DeShaun Watson. But Cleveland swooped in and offered Watson a massive guarantee money. Watson being Watson demanded he’d only accept a deal to the Browns.
This is Karma, because now Cleveland made the playoffs without Watson. But because they are paying Watson all that money, they can’t afford all of their top talent.
And they have not drafted a player in the 1st round in 3 years, even though they proved to be an elite drafting organization.
All because they could live without Watson, who’s been a zero for them for 2 seasons.
Plus because the Texans beat the Brown, it only improves the draft pick they will send to the Texans.

CJ Stroud is an overcomer. He is so talented and deserves every blessing in life after growing up with a father who was and is still unfortunately incarcerated. The man is an inspiration. Never let life circumstances, dictate your future.
As mixed race people, we get knocked around all the time (when I was much younger, a prospective white employer said to me in my interview, he cannot hire me because I will have children and he needs someone reliable. Well, I am a straight Christian, 54 years old and never have been married or pregnant in my life- completed graduate school as well as run several businesses).
Although I am a lifelong 49ers fan, I am so proud of his success. I love researching all the players on all the teams.

How did you turn a post about CJ's success into a narcissistic rant about how badly you were treated by an ignorant interviewer? Just because you will have no legacy to leave behind due to your personal issues doesn't meant that CJ is going to deal with anything you have dealt with.

@@hdbtftsg So, I questioned it myself (???) before using it by checking Merriam Webster:
      “Axiom” (noun)
An idea or statement put forth and accepted as true by many people.
Example: The retired judge recounted the old legal axiom which states that “justice and law are not always the same.”
Also…An Adage is a Proverb or an Old Saying that is used to express a truth or wise advice. An Axiom is a Self-Evident Truth or a Statement that is Assumed to Be True Without Proof (Was the game bigger than Stroud? Blinding Flash of the Obvious: No It Wasn’t!!)!
Example of an adage: "A picture is worth a thousand words." Example of an axiom: "All humans are equal." (Jan 8, 2023)
Make of it what You Will, but “Axiom” seems appropriate for most of us. But knowing most people will interchange those words without precise knowledge - it doesn’t really matter. We all get The Point!👊🍻

If they do that again and bring their best shot against Baltimore (assuming Buffalo wins) then they could go to the AFC Championship for the first time ever. A Houston versus Buffalo matchup in that round would be wild and Houston would come in with nothing to lose while Buffalo has all the pressure with Super Bowl expectations and one would wonder if Buffalo keeps their poise after beating Kansas City in that case. Considering this wild NFL season, you never know what may happen.
