You can even detect whether they're above or below you (even with stereo headphones) if the game has good sound design. I hate how much you have to crank the volume in some games to hear footsteps, though, and then the guns are loud af. You can compress the audio with software like VoiceMeeter but I always thought that was kinda lame and never reinstalled it after I got a new PC.
No bots = empty servers ... Upping the AI on the bots MIGHT fix that although unsure how easily this might be to implement . No easy answer for this Grandfather title .

Choco has said he would rather have thirty humans and no bots than a lobby full of computers. It ruins the gameplay.
