Never heard of phenom but found out they charge in pounds so my best bet I think is rival but those particular bag glove is really hard to find and when I did find it it's only available in pre-order with some goofy color ways. I honestly would like if they just offered some a black red and white classic looking gloves so ill end up with the 3rd place rival rb10s I think. They are pricey but you've said they are great gloves and they seem to have stood the test of time.
@@Fit2Box What are you waiting for ? :-P Boxingcollector says the glove feels more broken in. We need a one on one contest between that and Hit N Move Soft.
I totally get that And with copies it is normally easier to do that But the price and quality of the phenom just lifts them higher Rivals lift in price to £209.99 definitely didn’t help Interestingly though as it’s been a couple of years since the phenom came out with this glove no patent has been enforced to stop them producing these gloves Also at one point the manufacturer made for Rival and started their own brand …phenom So it’s not as clear cut as a brand just copying another brand
Phenom is a glove i haven't used, me and my lad are currently using the new design rival, me the blue and yellow p,p, and my lad the green ciber looking ones. The rival gloves are solid the best in my opinion , the reason im being biased on the phenom is simply the padding ripped were the knuckle protection is because the 6mm layer after about 6 months of use kinda concaved inwards. They where used by my lads coach and he rated them high until than and is now back with the rival. This i have found out has happened with a few boxers with the phenom glove 2 people that use to wear them had the same concave and another 3 didnt get the greatest or wrist support and all now use diffrent brands.
Underrated channel, the videos are very good. Perhaps doing a raffle, obviously sharing on networks, etc. you can improve your views. In any case, congratulations for your work 🥊
Not gonna lie to ya, I barely pick up your contender number 2 phenoms.. the pop isn’t there with those gloves and I do not enjoy wearing them. I have every other pair tho. Rival intellishock did tear at the knuckle within 2 months use.. they’re sending an replacement so I hope they’re durable
RB11 is an old glove, the foam padding breaks and becomes like dust coming out of the glove when you strike the bag. This is after a lot of use but I still don’t recommend it, the Guerrero is less protective but has better pop and better durability so far.
Hello Fit2Box. I found your channel before I buy a new par of glove. I bought Phenom based on your recommendation and so far, it's the best glove I ever have(low quality gym gloves, Wesing AIBA, Tuisco 504 and Phenom XRT220s). The only problem is that it's little too fit for my hands but otherwise, it's great gloves. Thank you for your sincere recommendation! Oh and I wonder about it's enurance. I do boxing 2~3 days a week with 1h 30m to 2hrs training. Would it be okay to use this gloves for more than 2years with this intensity?
They don’t need a head to head their to completely different gloves the Aliens are Mexican style gloves best suited for bag work and the Win1s are Japanese style gloves best suited for sparring or if you prefer a more protective glove for bag work
@@summersuspiria they're the only two types of gloves that the topboxer brand has, and on reviews I've seen they're good. So I just wanna know which is better overall, which should I buy.
@@gingerbread7266 It depends what you want out of a glove. They serve different styles or purposes. I like Japanese gloves so I would prefer the Win1, even for the bag because I like more hand protection and I hit very hard, I don't feel like I need extra feedback. If you like a more responsive glove you'll probably like Mexican style gloves and should go with the Alien. It's just personal preference. If you haven't boxed enough to know the difference, use a Japanese style glove and get the Win1. They both have the same stitching quality and are made of the same kinds of leather in the same workshop. You can also have him custom make a glove for not much money and use a stiffer leather that will crack the bag more if you want the Win1 shape. That's why Fly does the Oxblood gloves.
Any bag gloves you'd recommend for people on a lower budget? Up to £100 maybe. I notice superior had some new gloves on, with a similar wrist system to the rival. Also the infinitudes with the harder padding maybe?
Ippo makuniuchi in the back. I like that!
