U.S.D.A. - "Farmer Brown" (PSA, 1980)

Here's a very memorable public service announcement to help encourage kids to eat a variety of carbohydrates, including bread, rice, and cereal - they give you energy! Features the puppets Farmer Brown and his horse Fred singing about balanced meals.

This commercial used to terrify the living hell out of me as a child. I'd hide under the covers, freaked out, until it ended. Still kinda triggers me a bit, but I love it. :)
