Go to your vendor and perceive the fragrances they have and select the one you like.
If your vendor is experienced, ask for fragrance meant for bar soap.

That means it's not a must to cover the cooking vessel while making hot process soap??

Yes. You don't cover when cooking soap because you need to stir to avoid the soap boiling inorder not to seperate.
You only cover your vessel when making semi hot process which requires the heat from the caustic to cook the soap.
