top tip for the future.
1.when making leather deals soak them in oil for 24 hours before using.
2.use a bit of grease to lubricant the piston.
3. when chemical blackening after washing off in water cover with oil otherwise in a short time it will go rusty.
im a gunsmith by the way
You could have bought a new power spring, PTFE washer and dri moly lube to make it even crisper and powerful

Same model as the very first air rifle that I owned. It was a hand me down from my older brother who had it given to him. It was old heavy and I must have carried it miles. It was pretty powerful though out performing the newer Diana models most of my friends had.
I've been a gunsmith for nearly 40yrs and that's not a bad job bar not a drop of oil or grease was used to assemble which would tear it apart but when fired the gun dieseled showing the gun had been taken apart again and oiled

У меня в гараже стоит пневматическое ружьё ХАТСАН 125ТН.из Турции. Как то стрелял по мишени закрепил её на доску 4 см толщиной. Попал три раза в одну точку и прострелил насквозь и бумажку и деревяшку и даже железные ворота гаража.

Never, ever load a pellet without keeping hold of the end of the barrel. Quickest way to lose a finger tip. Tuck the stock under one arm then break the barrel and HOLD it down. Load the pellet with your free hand.
