You worked so very hard over many, many days and you should be proud. Moving is such an exhausting process. I hope you allowed yourselves the rest you needed once you were in your new home. May your new home be filled with love, joy and blessings.
Congratulations on your new home purchase! I did cried when the movers packed up my condo. The condo meant a lot too me. I purchased it after a divorce and people were saying you can't afford it. It wasn't high end but very nice. I regret selling it years later, I took a job out of state. It didn't work out well.
At the moment I am packing to move (in three days), from the house where I raised my kids. We lived here for 28 years, but my husband passed away last year and I can't manage our big garden on my own. It is a daunting task, and emotional too, as I had to get rid of a lot of my husband's tools and book etc. Watching this video gave me hope though. I will follow your lead, and try not to get more stressed. I have the house for two days after the move, and I am not moving far, so everything can happen in its own time.
I know how this feels. When my husband and I bought our house, I was working like a Trojan soldier.on a time crunch. I had guests coming from out of town at they same time. I had 10 days to get the new house presentable for company. I will never forget that as long as I live. I've never been that tired before our since!
I am so excited you posted this video. I have been checking back for days in anticipation. I think you are a superwoman the way you packed everything yourself! I did the same thing when we moved with our five kids out of our rental home to our new house. Even though it is exhausting you still are just so excited to move into the new house that you find the motivation within to continue packing those boxes. I am so proud of you and I can’t wait to see all your new videos in the new house! I really enjoy your channel. I also love your positive attitude. I can’t believe your kitty did that. We have two kitties I’d love to make outside kitties but I am so afraid they will run away or get lost. She must have sensed all the excitement. So happy you found her. I can’t wait for the next video. You shared the whole journey so I feel very invested now. LOL. I think sometimes maybe we should move again one day to a little bigger house, but the idea of packing up everything is a lot. You made it look easy even though I remember it is not! Especially with little ones! Thank you for sharing!! I will be looking forward to the next video!
Hello Trish!! Good to hear from you! Thank you for all the nice words and making me feel like a superwoman! My cat was never an outdoor, and just a few months ago she changed her mind. I don't like that, mainly because I worry. So in the new house she has been kept inside for a few days and so far so good. I think she hasn't realised there is a while world out there. I hope she stays that way. I am even prepared to get another pet for her to keep her happy lol. After what she did, I think now I am convinced I'd have to find alternative and may be build a catio. Yes, packing is no easy but so fun because it doesn't happen every day and, like you said exactly, the excitement keeps you motivated! See you soon! 💕
@@fromjeniawithlove2506 she may be content exploring the new house for a while so that is a good distraction. I am a worrier. I don’t know if I could let them out. They are very fat now so they would probably do well from the exercise. I didn’t even realize you could put a gps on her. But I can imagine the panic when the battery dies and they aren’t home yet. Can’t wait to see the next video. Excited to see how you decorate and organize your new house. I love doing that kind of stuff. I find it very exciting. Best wishes in the new home.
Wow I'm so proud of you both you did a brilliant job - it's very different moving in the UK normally you move out of the old house and into the new on the same day as do all the other people in the chain and we take everything fridge, washing machine, microwave all the furniture everything and why we would have a moving company with a massive truck do all the heavy lifting. There are of course exceptions but that's the norm so doing this all yourselves with 2 little ones and a naughty cat was amazing well done Jania. I look forward to seeing all the upcoming videos in your new beautiful home xx
Hi Lorna! Thank you so much!!! So as far as I learnt , it depends.. sometimes you take laundry appliances, fridge, dishwasher, sometimes you leave them. You can look up the paperwork and see what appliances the house comes with and decide from there what appliances you'd want to take or leave. The people who bought t\our house requested for us to leave the fridge, but the washer /dryer we took with us. So it depends. But yes, it was a busy day.. 😊😊
Right, so I have been keeping her in, she doesn't know yet there is a whole world out there. At least I think so. She has been calm and fine inside so far.
Heat wave here in the UK & I’m suffering. 🥵🥵 I need snow…🌨 Well done Lovely, you’ve worked so hard and done a great job, both you and hubby. Could not wait to leave it and now happily living in the countryside. 🐄🐑🐖🐎

Yes, that is soo true that it never goes as planned. Not just moving. But I think planning is more like having a sense of direction at least, which is necessary in most situations.
I have moved several times throughout my adult life. A little tip…put things away with some thought but don’t put a lot of time in. You will rearrange many times as you live in the new space. We moved almost a year and I have rearranged my kitchen, for example, 3 different occasions so it would function better. Lol
Hi Carrie! That makes a lot of sense! I can't decide right away where things are going to end up or what set up I want in the long run! So this helps. Thanks!!
I love Georgia . It is a beautiful State but I so agree with you. I can't take the heat either. You should move to Michigan if you like a colder climate. You would love it here. I wish you much luck on your new home. I would love to hear how you and your husband met. How romantic is was for sure.
Hello Michigan Grandma! You are so sweet. Yes, I would love snow and we were seriously considering moving to a colder area at some point. But we are stuck here for a while. My husband and I met when I moved to Georgia and started working at a deli. He was a customer who asked me out and the rest is history! 😊💕
