I know of a group of guns Ian hasn't made videos about yet: biathlon rifles. It would be interesting to see how those rifles has changed over the decades.
Always been a glock guy, but the true modularity of this design really won me over. I have a regular p365 and a p365 X-Macro. My most used configuration is p365 frame with ten rounds magazine, with X-Macro comped slide. it will fit perfectly into a p365 XL holster too!
Love what you did with the SAS and the P365XL upper. The smaller frame was a good choice as you can always get a bigger magazine, but the bigger ones won't accept smaller magazines. I've seen metal grip modules too for these, of which I got one myself, but it means the 3d printer world likely has a blast with these modular designs.
I signed up for utreon while I was there. Lots of good material to watch! And like a double big sucker, I went over to Mod Guns and bought a new slide for my P365. Thanks!
Ugh, utreon. Last I checked I couldn't watch in full HD without paying. The video controls are bad too. Tapping the screen to change resolution pauses the video. Is Vimeo an option? I don't know if it can be monetised but I've not had problems with it.
Thank you for posting the URL for the Utreon video. I would not have gone to Utreon otherwise. Please continue to put up trailers like this YT announcement here on YT. Thank you again.
I have been carrying the standard 365 since shortly after it's Inception and after the recall. (mine made a trip back to the factory) then As soon as the XL came out I purchased one and exchanged the lower for the standard one and have been carrying since then what I refer to as my "365 L", (ten round grip frame, long slide). I'm a bit of a 365 nerd and have 6 other unique builds as well.

You built pretty much the exact opposite of my P365 lol. I have the P365X with the Wilson Combat XL frame, no manual safety, no red dot. Everything down to even the takedown lever, slide catch and trigger are different on mine and with the exception of the frame, they are all factory parts from Sig. Crazy how modular pistols have become now.
Not sure if it's bad that I didn't even watch 30 seconds here before jumping over to Utreon or if it's just really telling of how bad RUclips has gotten
I’m so disappointed SIG discontinued the P250. It would be awesome to customize the P250 in the same way for those of us that prefer hammer fired and DAO.
If you find a P250, you can customize the grip modules in exactly the same way. You cannot do anything to the slide, obviously, but the lower half is your oyster.
Nice build! Shame you can't post the video of it here but it's nice to be able to head on over to Utreon to see it. You're the reason I started cross-posting my gun content over there for the inevitable day mine gets deleted here.
Why use a SAS FCU which makes takedown harder? The gun will be in a holster where having the slight protrusions of the slide release and takedown lever make no difference. Maybe there was a discount for the SAS since nobody wants that version anymore? I tried the shorter grip with longer slide, concealment was slightly better but splits were much worse (grip just too thin to also sacrifice length). Ended up with Boresight solutions XL grip and carrying deeper for both good concealment and more better performance.
One of these days they're going to figure out how to make server hardware, data bandwidth, and engineering and IT personnel salaries completely free. And then they'll really make a profit on the ads

Yes Ian, good build. I wonder why companies don't offer this: Short grip (concealable) + longer slide (accuracy, muzzle velocity, less blast/flash, more mass along bore axis - less recoil)
Because longer barrels tend to really interfere with my personal barrel (also thighs). Also Red dots make sight radius less notable, and the FPS loss is minimal between 3 to 4 inch barrels. Currently I carry a P365 XL or Macro, but I can't see myself carrying anything with a longer slide.

I could understand de-monetization (YT is a business). Banning a channel for the same reasons? I don't understand that from a *business* decision perspective at all. No person stops using YT, because there are channels on it the person doesn't like, which the person *doesn't watch* anyway. (so advertisers shouldn't either - they go to where there are people, not where something is a perfect "moral" environment) It could be like Twitter, they claimed they had tons of revenue while censoring important voices. They claimed it doesn't hurt their revenue at all - and now everyone criticizes Elon for making a poor choice, buying it...
The banning is a side effect from the fallout of the Adpocalypse. Advertisers (the actual customers of RUclips) don't want to risk people seeing their ads being associated with problematic videos. Even with demonitization, there's still risks that a company's ad might be played on an unfavorable video for a short time before RUclips gets around to demonitizing it. Hence the banning of those who continue to push un-monetizable content. Gotta remember, the viewers aren't the customer to RUclips. We are the product being sold to the customer. And the customer is always right.
@@theKashConnoisseur *Point A* Why *ban* a vid, when you could have *no* ads on it instead? @@foxtrotunit1269 Point A: when a content creator uploads a video, they tell RUclips that it's safe to advertise on. Adsense then starts assigning the video ads.
