thanks for the reviews mate, i actually order the nuphy air96 v2 a couple days ago after watching some of your reviews of the air75 and air96 V1, appreciate the coupon code, can't wait for it to arrive!
@@latinstuff1 it's great! i have the logitech g915 and ergodox ez and i'm still using this as my daily driver. i just wish the 0 on the numpad was bigger (like on a traditional full size keyboard numpad) cuz i keep forgetting and kept hitting the right arrow key instead. i got the moss switches and loving the feel of it so far. it gets a while to get used to, when i first got this i was mistyping a lot and my WPM was terrible, but after a week my WPM was back to normal (around 120 WPM). with wireless i do get issues with keys registering multiple times when i only pressed it once but it only happens when i first boot up the computer or when i wake up the keyboard after a while of not using. i haven't delved into the software or QMK yet, planning on getting the mouse keys qmk feature that i really missed from my ergodox ez but i've just been too lazy.
Been using this for 4 months and every piece of rubber on this keyboard has fallen off, as soon as two weeks after receiving it. Now it slides all over the place. Not good!
Just got it. Good keyboard, but wireless mode sucks. It's only useable in wired mode. Wifi receiver only works if in front of it, and still has double click issues when holding shift. Same double click and key misses on the bluetooth mode.
Yes there are 3 separate bluetooth connections so you can be synced with 3 devices over bluetooth and swap between them - it doesn't send to all 3 at the same time though, it just saves your pairing to 3 devices.
If you can select different switches and shine through keycaps are available I would expect you can order new keyboard with them. This should be improved in the future because I don't need two set of keycaps especially that I would like to use only specific one :).
I just picked up the Air60V2 with Brown switches. I love the low profile caps and switches but I think this 60% layout is a bit cramped for mostly desktop use. I don't need a dedicated Function row or num pad but I do want the most comfortable layout for extended typing. Would you say that this 96% has a wide more traditional alpha key placement for normal to large sized hands? Would the Air75 also get the job done. Thanks for the review and your advice!
Literally have been eyeing a new mechanical keyboard and opted to get the Air96V2 based off your review - made sure to use SEMIPRO at checkout even though my browser was recommending other 10% off codes lol. Was concerned a bit about compact layout of arrowkeys and numpad smushed together unlike some Keychron boards which do maintain separation but Im operating under the assumption I'll adjust. And if not can get a cheaper keychron later - but would probably have to mod it to sound thoccier like the Air. Was just curious if you can do some more videos on microphones and microphone arm mounts. Want to get separate mic and headphones and am leaning toward dynamic over condenser due to having a non sound treated room but dont like how close a dynamic has to be. Im worried since it has to be so close, the mic's arm positioning will obstruct my view of the screen. Any chance you can do a video sharing some mic setups?
on the Air96 the wireless connections can be switched by pressing FN and 1,2,3, or 4. 1-3 are the bluetooth connections and 4 is the 2.4GHz connection.
I have one, they did not. However once its on, it stays on even if you turn off the keyboard. So when you go to type again, its still there until you disable it.
Got mine today, going right back. The console doesn't work "device disconnected" and firmware won't update. Using a keyboard should not be this challenging lol. The Cowberry keys are nice, to band it just won't work. Tried via Bluetooth and wired modes in multiple USB Ports on my PC and Hub. Very frustrating
I received mine. I think it took 3 months bc it was lost in transit. In hindsight, I think Amazon was the way to go. Other than that, I’m happy with it and hoping I won’t run into battery swelling like I’ve seen others experience
I was just thinking about getting an Air96 and now it has version 2!! :) I have a Lofree Flow and it's a great keyboard but I find myself missing that TenKey. Programming and whatnot is WAY easier with a tenkey!! That Halo75 and Halo96 looks nice as heck too though. Not exactly portable though. :(
This keyboard looks really nice but it looks like they moved too many key for it to be useful for work and it appears they removed the insert key completely. Anyone that *nix administration uses this key for copy and paste in a terminal. The design is nice but that is a deal breaker. Also changing page up and page down is a deal breaker.
Hey man, my name is Johnny and I'm a logo designer, I wonder are you looking to have a logo redesign for your channel? I would love to know your needs and design a fresh new memorable logo for you! Let me know if you interested to make it happen!
A keyboard without a functional backlight in 2023??? Do they not care about the market share of people who are new to typing and need to see the keys in the night/a dark room?
You can buy shine through key caps for this keyboard, I got them for free for pre-ordering Nuphy air 96 V2. But yes, unfortunately with the key caps they come with are not shine through :/
Most people who are new to typing are not spending $130 on a Mechanical keyboard. If you still need to look down to type. Might want to just stick to an affordable cheaper Logitech.
I'm over dark room computer use. Yeah, there's shine through. I have an extra keyset for my air96v2 but I honestly think I'll hold off on swapping them in for now.
I never understood why Nuphy have such a horendous color scheme for their keyboards. Why have a bright yellow spacebar? It's not like you can't see it or know where the space bar is - its huge! Same with ESC key - its on the edge of the keyboard so easy to reach! Red Enter key fair enough it would be even better if they offered an ISO later for the bigger Enter key!
@@mcbarret5775 they only ship extra keycaps for the Windows profile. All the keyboards ship with Mac profile keys. But nuphy has several colors of the Ghostbar spacebar that you can buy from them. Also, in the process of ordering, it's always easy to include the additional spacebar of your color choice. These unboxers usually are just shipped what nuphy has decided so that they can do the reviews.
You did amazing!!! Thank you. This was great. Loved watching 🥳
Thank you so much!
Just came across this video while looking for a new keyboard. Great review. Also, love the sweatshirt! ☺️

Do we think Nuphy will ever release at 100% sized keyboard? Need that full sized zero button on the numpad
Agreed, this level of quality and design on a proper 100% layout would be great.

Yea same, I keep hearing 100% low profile mechanical keyboards are rare but I feel like there is a big demand for it out there

Another great review. Love your content bro. Keep it up! :)
Thank you, really appreciate it!
Amazing review! I have already used the coupon. Thanks!
Are you sure the air96 v1 didn’t already have the tactile bump in the up arrow? Because mine has it
We need the ISO layout ASAP 😢
ANSI layout is superior
Great review!! I’m looking at this because I need a transportable keyboard that has a num pad!!!
Just a side note that you can actually customize the V1 on Linux on a desktop environment level without any external/Nuphy apps installed.

Goodness my jaw drops on how clean these nuphys are
Whats the meaning of triple Bluetooth? Connecting between 3 devices at the same time?

What's your 2 month review?
i got both.... and I kept the Air96.. the keycaps are the best quality
Any specific reason your vids are so dark?
Good video, but I hope you can solve the distortions.
Also, does this keyboard come with super keys?
how to switch between BT and 2.4ghz?
on the Air96 the wireless connections can be switched by pressing FN and 1,2,3, or 4. 1-3 are the bluetooth connections and 4 is the 2.4GHz connection.
Did they add Num Lock indicator light this time?

Sounds like you got unlucky, it should be as easy as turning it on and connecting it.
Day 25 since my order and still waiting for my package. How’s everyone else’s shipping to USA experience been?
I received mine in 11 days.
Took 2 days, although that was through Amazon.

Where can I get that exact table mat?
Thanks! The mat is actually a cutting mat: www.amazon.com/dp/B0027ROZ9G/
@@semiprotech oops! Thought it's an oredinary table mat. Thanks.
Nice vid mate
Looking at it from that top down shot, it really looks like someone took a Keychron K4 V2 and flattened it.
Shame about the lack of iso support.

2.4ghz is why i swapped from my keychron to this.
frame easily gets dented, there's an awful delay when waking the keyboard up and the goddamn keyboard freezes. heck yeah nuphy quality
Ru using wireless???
where did you get that sweatshirt?
You mean the jumper? They are everywhere, man!
anyone know how to make the tilde button work
This or the keychron k17 pro??
this one looks better than keychron
Tay hockey my friends.
Nuphy has issues with batteries swelling and bursting into flames.

They give alternate keycaps with all their boards lol
What sort of disorder is this one? Colorphobia? 🙂
Is there a non-yellow spacebar? All unbox videos didn't have an extra spacebar keycap
