@@dineshgodara202increasing lot size, would lead to decreasing of beginner traders, brokerage and charges is likely to go up, govt taxes is likely to go down, and later when government coconuts will get bhosra, then tax is likely to go up, same like crypto, people who are earning through trading will perhaps get around 50-60% of what they earn.

No body force you to trade expiry day. It is a choice . If Thursday is expiry day for nifty then on Thursday you can trade bank nifty, fin nifty or mid cap nifty too. No body will stop you. Trust me. Look like you never traded
In that case, stop all option trading. Only keep buy and sell stocks... Why options??? NO NEED OPTIONS at all. No Index F&O. Just buy and sell long term is enough.
Either that or 1 Expiry per day of Week is good as it is.

भाई साहब कोई सही गेम बता ही नही रहा...रिटेल ट्रेडर से किसी को घंटा ही फर्क पड़ता है...अगर पड़ता होता तो रोज रोज एक्सपायरी ना होती...असली उद्देश्य तो ब्रोकर्स की कमर तोड़ना है...जैसे ही कंपटीशन काम होगा, Reliance Brokerage service लेकर आयेगा...दो चार ब्रोकरेज हाउस जो बचेंगे उन्हें Relaince निगल जाएगा...फिर दोबारा शुरू हो जाएगी f&o trading जैसे अभी है...और फिर रिलायंस, jio की तरह एकतरफा राज़ करेगा...

If second proposal gets implemented then Nifty, bnf,fin nifty,midcap all these contracts are going to expire on the same day or nse will completely remove few contracts..
They can only have one contract expiry per week.. Will have to choose only one..

Nifty lot size would be approximately 100( which is currently 25) if it gets increased to 20-30 l....huge blow to option buyers and writers .

it will be huge blow to all, retailers bring liquidity to FNO market, many stock investors use FNO to hedge their equity exposure and without liquidity in FNO they will definitely reduce their equity exposure

Increases required margin for option sellers. It will require 3-4 times more money to sell one lot. Thus reducing quantities and also profit.
Futures and options lot size would be increased from 5l to 20-30l...traders upfront margin would get significantly increased
