Vintendo is a fucking legend, did he seriously just put "Bunghole" as his tag name? Cornholio would be proud. YOU WILL GIVE ME TP! TP FOR MY BUNGHOLE! BUNGHOLE, BUNGHOLE!
I agree for the most part but sometimes there is “correct” di. Like very early percents if you do out byleth never gets a follow up, at high percent near ledge you have to di down and in to avoid up air/dair and avoid getting spiked offstage. But the rest of the time I agree, u have to mix up your di
@@edwinvega6330 actually thats not the case. At low percents DI out can be covered with a jump back side B, and at slightly higher percents a jump back bair. Theres a select few scenarios in which DI down and away can avoid all followups, but those are relatively rare and is very dependent on character, rage, percents, and up b distance. But for the most part, byleth can always cover all DI at pre spike percents. If you arent able to cover DI out with your byleth my guess is you arent using your double jump. As for high percents at ledge, you have 2 options: Neutral DI, and DI in. Di out gets you spiked offstage, but doing nothing actually bounces you off the stage on the other side of byleth forcing a 50/50. Both can be covered if read by byleth. Adding a component of up/down can help make the byleth whiff, but it cant completely protect you. So while There are cases where there can be “incorrect” DI, there is almost never “correct” DI. The only two exceptions i can think of are the situations where DI out can avoid all followups (which again at prespike these are rare), and a very specific technique ive never seen anyone do, which is drop from ledge, DJ back up b, because in this scenario neutral DI will also get spiked off stage. In this scenario the only DI that isnt instant death is DI in, but in that case byleth can followup and kill you anyway. Up b is insanely complex lmao
lol but a duck hunt that knows what it's doing is actually pretty scary. you'd have NO IDEA where that can could go on screen if u don't know the matchup. it's probably a good duck hunt main's biggest advantage.
@Tyler Davis well slow moving projectiles are actually really good since you can run behind them and combine pressure. Pac man does it with hydrant a ton, and the way duck hunt uses can is basically the same.
He was at 61% already off stage, got hit by the tipper of a slow hard hitting characters attack, and Leo had rage. there are countless non DLC characters that would have killed him just the same there. hell there are plenty of non DLC characters that could have killed him at even lower % there.
@@DeemerAV It's not a slow attack though if he can just use it out of a nair. The only other characters in the game who can just combo into an attack that covers half the stage and kills this early are Sephiroth and Min Min, who are DLC
What next? Are you going to call Captain Falcon DLC? Edit: Also what are you talking about? That spear does not cover half the stage. Leo even had to go offstage to tipper that duckhunt.
@@Sancnea Don't know what he has to do with anything but now that you bring him up, he is overtuned like a DLC character. Are you trying to say Byleth isn't DLC?
@@willycheez7218 I'm not saying Byleth isn't a DLC character. But calling out DLC privilege on one of the most balanced DLC characters is stupid as hell. Mario and Falcon can ravage through your stocks once they get a combo string going, yet a tipper backair offstage killing at 61% is unfair?
@@Frostbyte115 Slight misunderstanding. He prefers playing Byleth more than Joker. That being said, he did tell Wizzy on twitter that he has been practicing Joker a lot more against pros so I don't think anyone needs to worry.
