- House Republicans were shocked by some of the recent high-profile retirements announced by their colleagues, which have included powerful committee chairs and rising stars inside the GOP. But given the miserable state of affairs inside the House right now, they also weren’t exactly surprised. CNN's Melanie Zanona reports. #CNN #News

What is happening is that nutty people in Congress are trying to kill Ukraine Aid, so now the Speaker of the House has to look like he is doing all he can to block it in order to keep his job and not go through the shenanigans that happened the last time the Speaker was removed. This Congress is perhaps the cruelest example of a real life Monte Python skit at this point, because the GOP is falling apart and dissolving itself.
There will be Ukraine support coming. It passed the Senate, and it will get through the House, even if the Speaker needs to be bypassed.

There needs to be rules and laws in place that require both the senate and house to bring forward bills passed by the other for votes within a reasonable amount of time. The whole system of one person being able to kill something because it doesn't align with his politics isn't democracy when he can prevent all the other elected officials in his chamber to not have a vote on it
