Kate Middleton and King Charles receive over 30,000 messages of support after cancer announcements

The Royal Household received a significant increase in correspondence, with 138,303 items in the past year. Of these, 27,620 were messages of support for King Charles and Princess Kate after their cancer announcements. King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February, and Princess Kate revealed she was undergoing chemotherapy following an abdominal surgery. The palace also received 31,311 messages related to the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. The Sovereign Grant Report noted that the grant remained at $111 million for the third consecutive year and highlighted over 2,300 engagements by the royal family. Additionally, the proportion of ethnic minority staff at the Royal Household increased to 11.4%.
