#Likelife is a charitable non-profit project that aims to draw attention to this generation’s preoccupation with the Internet and social media. In our video "#Likelife! World with vs World without social media" we demonstrate the depth of this phenomenon. Our task is not to assess what is happening with the generic labels of "good" or "bad". Rather, the goal is to encourage consideration of the importance of keeping a grasp of life outside of the computer monitor while still maintaining an online presence. What really lies behind the desire to photograph and upload everything for the world to see? Is it the endless pursuit of social acceptance, or simply just boredom? With the help of our video, the viewer will develop a perspective of the gains and losses of devoting particular amounts of time to the Internet vs. reality.
In addition, #Likelife is an important social project. All money received from monetization our video on RUclips will go to charity in support of the organization charita.cz . Charita.cz is a non-profit organization that supports those in need, regardless of their age, gender, religion or ethnicity. The money will be transferred from our team to a charitable organization that supports orphanages. Each person who watches the video "Like life" or shares the link to it automatically becomes a member of our project. He or she will not only be able to donate to the charity, but also help our campaign affect more people by drawing attention to this generation’s obsessive use of the internet.

@Antonella Vitali 2000s were better in my opinion especially early-mid 2000s(2000-2005) were the best. social media started around 2006 and 2007 which kinda ruined society but then again there have been a few positives for social media but then again a lot of negatives ever since it started around 2006 and 2007 but social media back in the late 2000s (2007-2009) wasn't as toxic as it is now.

I miss the pre social media days. I was lucky enough to have lived my childhood before social media took off (myspace was a thing but it wasn't nearly as toxic as social media is today). Seriously. Good ole days. Now everybody bases their entire worth and validation on social media and their fake social lives. Instead of living in the moment, people want to post everything on social media to brag or show off everything they're doing. Sad sad world.

I deleted all my social media accounts when I realised that I was starting to take selfies in the gym haha. That's when I knew I had to quit it.

i was deleted all of my social media, what i got? first grade in my school.
I would seriously give ANYTHING to go back to a world with zero social media, it's destroyed the very fibres that create society, community and living a full life. No one is living anymore, and the younger generations don't even know what they're missing because they never knew a world before it. It's honestly sad...
Given that I did grow up without it I'm absolutely heartbroken to be here, I want to live my life IN PERSON, organically!!!

2023 new years resolution. Less social media! I remember living in a world where social media wasn't even a reality. Growing up we were more happy and free. We may not have been as connected as we are now but our now our personal freedoms are traded for a online environment with ingenuine relationships, and constant need for gratification, likes, and attention. I am guilty of this and I want my old life back. 2023 I'm going to severely limit my social media usage and only post things that are important and meaningful. People that I added back in the day I barely know are going away. I will be spending more time with real friends, sharing real experiences, where not every moment needs to be captured. I value my privacy and freedom. I feel like I give that up everytime I spend time on social media. It has its benefits, if you can control your impulses, and limit your time on social media. Like an addict, it will be a gradual day by day process since it's been so much apart of my life. However by taking back control of my impulses and usage, social media will be a place to every once in a while connect with people online for the sole reason of then meeting them in person. If they live far away that would be the only exception. Social media will not run my life or take so much of my precious time and life away anymore. I'm not saying I'm doing away with it. Just coming to terms with my addiction to social media and my efforts to break free of it. Our phones can be a great tool, but everything must be in moderation!

This is well done, except I have one critiscm: You should have gone 1st person in each of the people when they got on their phones, to put the viewer in the shoes of the person on social media, rather than being 3rd person the whole time, and seeing it the way you would it you weren't the person on the phone.

nah, this is not for real, I haven't seen like any of these, of course you take selfies everywhere you go, but not all the time looking at your phone, you know what whatever you say, show, or do, social media has been crucial since it went out of nowhere, cuz at any angle you look it does still great, accept the fact that social media has been a part of our lives, like electricity, no one would ever live without it.
