I'm happy to see more and more people using Capture One Pro for the raw conversion. I've told people for years it has a better color reproduction over lightroom or camera raw. If Capture one would implement some of the masking options that Adobe has that would be awesome!
Great intro into Style Brushes for me, Eli. I've not really messed with them much, but will start utilizing them in my workflow. Thanks for all you share!
After applying the built-in brightness+ style brush, I usually like to add a bit of contrast and clarity to the mask in order to retain the original contrast. Making a custom style brush with my usual settings is a great time saver. Thank you!
I love your videos. No hate towards LR, but I'm really glad I started with C1, especially for the color and skin tone adjustments. My favorite part of this video was seeing you create and use style brushes. I recently upgraded to C1_22, but I hadn't explored custom style brushes. I definitely will now...you really take the mystery out of it. Thank you!
@@EliInfante I started with a "shadows" brush to open up some details, and I also made a "matte" brush to take a little polish off of some of my photos (just a stylistic decision). Completely going to change my workflow for the better.
You did a very nice job of explaining what you were doing in capture one but is it just me or was there a light sticking out of the models head? Model sitting on the ground could you have not removed that?
Thank you so much! The pacing was a little fast for my skill level but I don't mind. It's easy to pause and repeat. I will definitely incorporate these new features. I have just subscribed and look forward to learning more.
I really want C1 to include compositing, especially for background and sky replacement. Other than that, I love C1. I may try out Luminar Neo and Affinity to work with C1 for now.
If you have an inside channel to C1 people I would REALLY like to see a "select subject" function. I think they have all the pieces to implement this.... Thanks
Very helpful! Thank you. Im curious, what is your recommendation on the "Curve" setting in the "base characteristics"? AUTO, Film Standard? Thanks for your wonderful tutorials!
I nearly changed to capture one but after some research I've decided to stay with photshop because capture one doesn't support many lenses for auto distortion correction
Very good info about the style brushes, I may need to update to 22... Nice color grade but why did you leave the lightpole coming out of her head :) or is that a job for PS?

You're welcome, Jim! Lots of possibilities with that feature.

Great idea, Mark! I'll need to try that.
Have largely avoided the style brush and forgot it even exist, will give it a try this time round.
Let me know how it goes, Edwin! I'm curious what brush styles you create.
Really great tutorial! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent tutorial, thanks !
You are welcome!
@@EliInfante I really like the sophisticated way you C1, and of course the great end results of your pictures. Well done!

Correct, I did it in photoshop Andre.
Hello Eli. Great tutorial. My favorite part of the video was how you used the color editor. Be safe.

Totally! I hope it comes out soon
Excellent.... I am working a set of headshots as much as I can in C1 before PS. The last color work you did was really an eye opener !!!!!
I appreciate the feedback! ❤️
How about getting that stree light out of the background in the 1st photo? * I'm impressed with the color control in C1.
I did it in photoshop 😁

I'll talk to them about it. I'm sure they're well aware of it 😁
This would be so great! I like layers and masking but selecting the subject with a click like Adobe does will simplify things so much!
I agree! I'm sure they're working on it Oscar. 😁
Very helpful! Thank you. Im curious, what is your recommendation on the "Curve" setting in the "base characteristics"? AUTO, Film Standard? Thanks for your wonderful tutorials!
I usually leave it on Auto but I sometimes experiment with it.

Nice video! What model Wacom tablet do you use?
Thank you! I'm using the Wacom Intuos Pro Medium 😁
@@EliInfante thank you!
Hello . Thanks for the tutorials and raw photos .
What is the minimum time you need for a High End Retouch ?
You're welcome! That's totally up to you on how you want to retouch.
Are you not using LRC anymore?
I rarely use it
Sir please teach the whole capture one basic to advance
Can you be more specific Anant? 😃
Mind blown
Thank you Angel!
