Oh I see you control the servo controller with a PLC you programmed. Can the PLC programmed to send a configurable number of step impulses to the servo driver when an input signal (like the Z signal from encoder) is received? I'm thinking this can be used for servo/spindle positioning

On the hardware... if you look at the plc, you will see when you hard wire your plc you have your terminals are labelled "+", "-", "COM", "01", etc but there are also ones labelled "NC"... what is the purpose of that terminal?
@@lct9031 I get it, the NC you said refers to the empty terminal. Your PLC housing is shared by multiple models. The model you use does not use that terminal, so it is marked as NC. No wires need to be connected to that terminal.

It looks like the stop pushbutton is wired normally open so it will not fail safe.
This is speed control mode (continuous mode), not position control mode
