I grew up in Los Angeles, and attended games in both the Coliseum and Dodger Stadium. I even had the good fortune to attend the first game ever played at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers had both Koufax and Drysdale, but somehow Johnny Podres was sent out to pitch that first game. Wally Post hit a home run and the Dodgers lost. I also remember well the years Dusty Baker was camped out in left field. There is not much to like about the Astros, but I have to root for Dusty, always a class act.
