@lucasgrey9794 I'm sorry but what the heck!? Jack the "lad" is the secret identity of "jack the ripper." Awful writing. Evie is a terrible protagonist, much worse than Jacob. Jacob stole the show in the 10 mins he was in, and yet evie was boring for 10 entire levels. Playing as Jack was vile and disrespectful. The "fear tools" are just a cheap way to end any fight or stealth section by cheating. Terrible game design. The story is uninspired, and dull. The dlc had very little to do with templars or proper assassin's, and it has nothing to do with the ISU, which every main assassin's creed should have something ISU related... Sorry but Jack the ripper is terrible. I mean Evie couldn't even make it from India to England in time to stop Jack in real life. The trip is a lot longer than a month back in victorian times. And where is Jacobs son? He is alive and a trained assassin, so where is he? Why ask evie from India to help? Bad writing, that is why. Jack the ripper was a dirty little dlc with minimal effort involved, a badly written story, and no new free roam location. It was a sad little experience that only hurt the mian game, and I can only think it was made by short sighted people who simp for evie.

Gavin King I know it's says Pre-Alpha but Ubi's statement is quite weird. How can you be Pre-Alpha when there is nothing before Alpha, and how can you be at that stage when release is FALL 2015? I think they just use it so none of us can harshly criticize for the footage shown because they'll always have an excuse. Just like your comment :P
Shebanjah Sinekraft You clearly don't understand game development, so i'll give you a quick run down. A game goes through many stages during development. Most games are only announced (and therefore known to exist) once they enter the alpha or beta phase. Pre-Alpha constitutes all development that a game undergoes before testing. Alpha is the first round of testing that a game will endure once the base functionality is installed. Games during alpha (and therefore, pre-alpha as well) are extremely buggy, with data loss, crashes and glitches very common. At the end of the alpha phase the game becomes feature complete. The beta phase is often used for demonstrations of the software and it's capabilities. At this stage, the game undergoes extensive testing in order to hunt down and eliminate as many bugs as possible (there will always be some that go unnoticed). Although the game is feature complete at this point, there will be plenty of bugs, known and unknown, that will need finding. The game may still experience severe technical issues like crashes at this stage, but this shouldn't be as prevalent as in alpha or pre-alpha. Only after this, is the game prepared for release. So, Ubisoft's statement isn't weird at all. The gameplay demonstrated is pre-alpha, in other words it is very, very early gameplay. The game isn't even complete yet, and there will be a multitude of bugs at this point.
hahaha it's so funny reading everyone being negative about this game 6 years ago and now after Valhalla, those same players are wishing AC would go back to this!
Everybody think that syndicate was the last true AC while it was actually Unity that was truly the last game that has traces of the old AC feel, I'd say that unity was the embodiment of the feeling of being the blade in the crowds. Too bad ubi rushed that game and then blamed it all on unity's head, that unity's failing causes the entire franchise to switch to being an RPG to remain "fresh" and unfortunately it worked in their favor judging by the RPG era of games' sales
I just really hope that there is gonna be some kind of proper modern story to this game, because Unity was such a big disappointment. Though the history part actually looks great and I'm actually kinda excited.
JustHurty Oh but they will. It's rather obvious really... Unity was piece of crap and well this looks exactly like Unity. But that's just my opinion please no hate! D:
Random events from AC4, Carriage driving from AC Revelations, Fighting mechanics from Sleeping Dogs and the time epoch from The Order 1886. Wow Ubisoft - so much new stuff! (Even the graphics seem to be worse than in AC Unity) But let's be honest... we will buy it. Everyone of us.
Wow. None of this comment makes sense. Obviously there will be similarities to other games, it's nearly impossible to have a game with 0 similarities to any other game ever created. That's like complaining about a game having guns it because COD has guns. And secondly, its Pre-alpha. Do expect Pre-Alpha footage to look better than a fully finished game that came out not even a year ago?
I have to say ACU was a massive difference from previous AC games, and it does have its originality. This game just reminds us of so many other games right from the alpha footage. I found almost no new features in this game.
I probably know you won't read this but continue the series because you have a lot of fans supporting you. please don't listen to the people who are telling you to stop.
the game looks really cool I wish there is a "gang control system" like the ones we had to control the assassin's in brotherhood, revelations and ac3, the assassin's were really overpowered but I really liked to give order to other assassin's. maybe they implement that back here
AC Syndicate wishlist : 1)No bugs 2)Better storyline 3)Non repetitive missions 4)No ubishit to unlock chests/collectables etc 5)Good multiplayer :3 (may or may have not made a few spelling mistakes )
XD_JoNi You can't expect no bugs, every game no matter how perfect will have some bugs. Let's just hope the bugs in this game are stupid little things, nothing annoying or game breaking
Just what has happened to Assassin's Creed? Give us a character with some fucking charisma and a story that is actually related to the Creed then I might be interested again. Until then, this franchise died along with Desmond Miles, what an idiotic decision that was.
warhero122 Well co op was the big reason why I got Unity, I enjoyed it but yeah it could've been a lot better. I probably won't get this game since they won't have co op. Co op to me makes it so that someone can go back and play the game more than once after they beat it.
dudes this is 1 of 7 places in the game and you can play as both Evie and Jacob and it is just single player so they will try and hopefully make it the best yet. Please Quebec. Don't disappoint us
***** Obviously it was different from 3 and 4, that comes with the setting. But how could you say Paris feels empty? It is the biggest city in AC history with tons of sidequests and responsive crowds filled with a variety of NPCs. The world is more alive than ever, I hated how the world in AC4 was so devoid of anything to do once you finish the few quests there are. The customization in Unity is incredible, far beyond anything we've seen in AC before. Combine that with co-op missions, improved stealth and an entirely new combat system (which was desperately needed after reusing the same thing for 3, 4, Liberation, and Rogue), and I think that the world and gameplay were great successes. I have a few minor gripes, like having the Hidden Blade only available for stealth kills, and the free-running sometimes not working how you want it to, but overall I think it was great. Story-wise, we agree more. It wasn't bad per se, my main complaint is that it was hardly involved with the revolution at all, as it was mostly about Arno and Elise's relationship. That being said, I find myself wanting more out of every AC's story, so this isn't sometime unique to Unity.
KonguZya I thing you may just be a fan boy cause you say it was amazing but it was majorly buggy as it was rushed just per usual (money!) the story was short, boring and honestly what AC was better than Brotherhood Unity was a let down, they didnt listen to any critisism from AC3 and they most likely havent from Unity big games like this always end up in the trash. E.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield once were great games but stopped doing what everyone loved and didnt listen to the people they were selling it to. The world is all about making more and more money scraping as much as they can and unfortunately Video games have come to this to :( I do respect you love AC but you have to accept there mistakes your only lying to your self and giving your money to them.
People say that they rush these games but each AC game gets put into the making years before they are released. Ubisoft is just such a huge company that they can do such a feat. I would say this was put into the making before Black Flag was released.
It already looks pretty glitchy, but it seems like the dropped the whole "thousands of people in a crowd" thing so maybe the game actually runs at a stable framerate this time.
Ubisoft... Stealth was the KEY of Assassin's Creed. You HAVE to improve it. Btw, I hate this hat. The hoodie is not put only in Stealth mode, not true ? In AC1, we could hide into a group of priests for passing the frontier of a town. It was a cool feature. We were intimidating, pickpocketing or spy people for having informations about where the target is, how we could kill it and how to escape quickly. It was perfect. Bring back counter-kills, rope darts, modern day, the brotherhood system. I don't want to control a gang, but a real brotherhood. BRING BACK THE CREED. Not a clumsy wrestler with a hoodie ramming on people with carriages. Evie is the only assassin i'm really hyped for. Even if it's a pre-alpha, there is glitches... The horse from 2:02 to 2:07. The yellow coat guy at 2:13. The fighting system is................ ugly At the end, Ubisoft,Do. not. make. an AC game each YEAR. Take the example of Batman Arkham series, Uncharted series. They are masterpieces because the producers take time for refinining it. If you follow this advice, you guys will make masterpieces.
This AC next gen game looks dozen times more interesting that Unity, looks different, feels different only watching it. Definitely it will be a better version of the next generation AC.
Look like a unity dlc. Same shitty graphics. Bad draw distance and a glitch where Jacob got stuck on a roof for a second. It looks like the same ass creed. My opinion don't hate.
Doesn't look that bad, and I appreciate the lighter hearted nature that allows for some actual enjoyment out of the story. The gameplay also seems interesting too. The concern I have is the actual state of the game and if it will just be AC Unity all over again. I have no doubt that the developers want this to be a great game, but clearly the bosses at Ubisoft don't understand that a game has to be in a finished state to release in. If this game makes the same mistake, it's safe to say that this series is done for.
Copy Paste ACU.... I personally feel like they are running out of ideas. And they are going to much into the present in my opinion. Next thing you know we are running in the field with a gun in WWI
Ofc I played revelations, but I just love Altair the most. It is more realistic if you look at the origins of Assassins en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassins
gamegaloo You're hoping for a day and night cycle? That is the most insignificant illogical thing to hope for, all that happens is light and darkness, is it really that significant? Does running around in the dark arouse you or something or improve gameplay in some way? Please explain yourself, explain why you want a day and night cycle? Explain the significance of it in a video game like assassin creed?
when an assassins creed come in world war 1 or 2 i will buy it again. i have stepped away for a long time from this series but this isnt gonna bring me back :C
The animations need a lot of work... the character moves unrealistically and twitchingly... make it feel more realistic and flowing... look at GTA and learn.
I'm not hating but this seems... very modern, what i liked about the AC franchise is how you experienced ancient cities and their impressive architecture and at times you felt unfamiliar with those places, but now... man... they jumped way too forward in time, this feels more like a Red Dead Redemption 2 (without the parkour) than an actual Assassin's Creed game.
Ajay Raikwar Well they're always making big multiple games (3 at once, usually) behind the scenes to make AC a yearly game (sadly), which you can look at Wikipedia's AC Development paragraph. But last year was just ridiculous. Watch Dogs, Far Cry 4, AC Unity, AC Rogue. 4 big games at once? That's just stupid. This year though, they've gone a bit quite (although there's Chronicle, but that's a small game that shouldn't bother them much). With the fact that they get rid of multiplayer so they can 'focus' on making Syndicate's map 30% larger than Unity, yeah, hopefully that is the quietness of "we've learnt our lesson" heheh
I come from the future and now we have eagle pets that allow us to scout the airs and see through walls, marking enemies and points of interest. Eagly enough for ya?

Infinatepossibility1 I loved Black Flag, enjoyed Unity and had fun with Rogue, i want to see what they did here
***** How he is a hater if he played the games before Unity and Rogue? A series can be ruined with releasing a new game too often.
Ac syndicate is one of the best and most underrated ac game idk why people hated it so much
agreed
This game is good. One of my fave games of all time.
yeah, knife battles in london, like in modern times
"The Possibilities are endless"....then why cant i just simply walk with hood on. Or jump whenever i want
YES the whistle from AC4 is back!!
the rope launcher is basically batmans grapple from the arkham games and the line launcher great feature it really helps ac
to me this new assassin's creed looks real good the graphics are amazing and the new fighting skills and stealth mode has increased and i was interested about the gangs stuff and the horse carriage
Remember how awesome AC2... Bets on this not working at launch like unity? That I still have only played an hour of because of launch
And every game but unity. Not saying unity was that terrible just a bit borring
2:13 the first bug!
Pre-Alpha
Gavin King I know it's says Pre-Alpha but Ubi's statement is quite weird.
How can you be Pre-Alpha when there is nothing before Alpha, and how can you be at that stage when release is FALL 2015? I think they just use it so none of us can harshly criticize for the footage shown because they'll always have an excuse. Just like your comment :P
Shebanjah Sinekraft the explanation is easy: this is pre-alpha and if we're lucky we'll get the beta on release.
Gaminglord12 well this is ubisoft! this is going to be the complete game i'm 100% sure (ceck watch dogs or ac unity)
We are in 2015 and we still see that fighting system and graphics
Arkham Knight : Respect
hahaha it's so funny reading everyone being negative about this game 6 years ago and now after Valhalla, those same players are wishing AC would go back to this!
@@khoavo510 In terms of gameplay, controls and mechanics, Syndicate is basically identical to Unity. So yes, it is definitely the last true AC game.
@@Siolarty19 so basically syndicate is just a lesser unity then
They should include a charakter swap system with the siblings, like GTA 5 did. That would be awesome
I just really hope that there is gonna be some kind of proper modern story to this game, because Unity was such a big disappointment. Though the history part actually looks great and I'm actually kinda excited.
I never saw Jacob and Henry talk to eachother but this one at 0:35 and 0:50 was Really Funny 😂😂😂
I like it how his hat doesn't fall off when he head butts
We all know the answer
Up the ass
This is how real assassin’s creed supposed to be
Please dont fuck it up Ubisoft..
JustHurty Fingers crossed
JustHurty already have lmao
JustHurty they've already done it
JustHurty It's already fucked, don't you see?
JustHurty Oh but they will. It's rather obvious really... Unity was piece of crap and well this looks exactly like Unity.
But that's just my opinion please no hate! D:
I gotta say the one thing that AC still does wonderfully isthe music. God the music is AMAZING
Random events from AC4, Carriage driving from AC Revelations, Fighting mechanics from Sleeping Dogs and the time epoch from The Order 1886.
Wow Ubisoft - so much new stuff! (Even the graphics seem to be worse than in AC Unity)
But let's be honest... we will buy it. Everyone of us.
Ezio Monitore Sleeping Dogs is exactly what the fist fight in this demo reminds me of
I found almost no new features in this game.
then the newest features should be in it right?
Lucius Flynn however all these old features open up a whole lot more possibilities for gameplay I suppose
3:20
AC Revelations anyone?
But we can make our very own, rather than look around for one
Fist Fighting is back? Goddamnit, Ubisoft. Alright... Here... Just take it. TAKE MY MONEY!
I probably know you won't read this but continue the series because you have a lot of fans supporting you. please don't listen to the people who are telling you to stop.
the game looks really cool I wish there is a "gang control system" like the ones we had to control the assassin's in brotherhood, revelations and ac3, the assassin's were really overpowered but I really liked to give order to other assassin's. maybe they implement that back here
Looks like Unity.. Hell it's just a new map, story, fighting system and gadgets.. 10/10 -ign
AC Syndicate wishlist :
1)No bugs
2)Better storyline
3)Non repetitive missions
4)No ubishit to unlock chests/collectables etc
5)Good multiplayer :3
(may or may have not made a few spelling mistakes )
XD_JoNi I heard there's not gonna be multiplayer @@
gamegaloo well fuck :3
XD_JoNi You can't expect no bugs, every game no matter how perfect will have some bugs. Let's just hope the bugs in this game are stupid little things, nothing annoying or game breaking
XD_JoNi You also forgot the ability to make a new game mode, just like everyone else
Better combat
It doesn't look like an Assassins Creed game anymore. Let's just hope it's as good as the old ones are.
Just what has happened to Assassin's Creed? Give us a character with some fucking charisma and a story that is actually related to the Creed then I might be interested again. Until then, this franchise died along with Desmond Miles, what an idiotic decision that was.
Let's count how many texture pop-ins we saw when Jacob was in the carriage.
over 9000
Was hoping to see more stealth, hopefully they keep in aspects like customization and make a better co-op.
warhero122 Well co op was the big reason why I got Unity, I enjoyed it but yeah it could've been a lot better. I probably won't get this game since they won't have co op. Co op to me makes it so that someone can go back and play the game more than once after they beat it.
I'm happy they got rid of co op because it was broken in unity and now they could focus more on the single player
***** customization yes hopefully!!! But co-op only if it works better than in Unity. I play AC mostly for singleplayer.
dudes this is 1 of 7 places in the game and you can play as both Evie and Jacob and it is just single player so they will try and hopefully make it the best yet. Please Quebec. Don't disappoint us
After the piece of shit that was Unity they dare put a Pre-Order button at the end!?
***** Only part of Unity that was shit was the launch.
Ha Unity killed the Creed series for me.
MRriNICKulous How?
The game is already repeating itself in the gameplay preview... good job Ubisoft!
Am I the only one who's sad that cutscene was missing in the actual game?
Me too, these cutscene are really good.
I really wanted to see more of Frye twins.
Instead we get "You are *not* starting a gang called the 'Rooks'."
I just come to this channel once in a month than i see a video just posted and its a gameplay fak yeah i am lucky to be a Malaysian
0:22
Sabal? From Far Cry 4?
This looks awesome like every new assassin's creed! Good fucking work
"Now that our ally is free, we'll ask him to assist us"
Uhh that's a woman
i guess this would be my first Assassins creed game that I will buy.
4:29 He missed!
8:55, holy shit look at that guys face.
But to be fair, this is the pre-alpha footage
Angel Keovixay The first time they showed Unity it was pre-alpha as well. I honestly don't trust Ubisoft with any AC game anymore.
Angel Keovixay unity was too :)
ok, that first assassin on the first scene REALLY looks like Sanal or Mohan Ghale from Far cry 4, even the way he spoke reminded me of them wow
but wheres the fucking cane :((((
Steve Ryan I was waiting for it to show up too :(
They dont want us to know all wepons
but the weapons on the poster at least? lol
Lucius Flynn get a life.
Steve Ryan On his belt...
Looks cool, the grappling hook is a bit ridiculous though
FIST TO FIST FIGHT IS BACK!
***** Yep XD
It's Caec AND SO MUCH IMPROVED :D
CinemaTeamFortress a True. It was a claustrophobic fuck to fist fight well in the oldies
2:54 now that's the atmosphere I have been waiting for :D
Is this going to need a NASA pc like unity to run fine?
I just hope fighting will have a bit more bite than Unity!
The fighting system is................ ugly
At the end, Ubisoft,Do. not. make. an AC game each YEAR.
Take the example of Batman Arkham series, Uncharted series. They are masterpieces because the producers take time for refinining it. If you follow this advice, you guys will make masterpieces.
I just can't wait for that Assassins Creed: American Gansta
Damn...I've thought Unity was bad..
Who think unity is better than syndicate?
You Tube no one
I love both of them
3:43 that glorious A.I. though
Unity is a great game. Stop following the crowd.
This looks promising for pre alpha. Ubisoft, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THINGS THAT ARE HOLY *DO NOT MESS THIS UP!!!!!*
Copy Paste ACU.... I personally feel like they are running out of ideas. And they are going to much into the present in my opinion. Next thing you know we are running in the field with a gun in WWI
Can't wait for the subHD/20fps parity version
BRING ALTAIR BACK PLEASE
sonnyyz Have you played Revelations?
Ofc I played revelations, but I just love Altair the most. It is more realistic if you look at the origins of Assassins en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassins
Seems like some writer watched "Gangs of New York" and adapted it to London.
I really liked more this Jacob, to be honest XD
I miss cinmeatic dialogue... Valhallas dialogue is so boring and uninteresting
Hello, welcome back
ROPE LAUNCHER!!! Say goodbye to climbing, long time AC fans
Day and night cycle ???????
***** Unity did not have day and night cycle FYI ;)
***** unity doesnt have it
***** Assassin's Creed: Unity didn't have a proper day and night cycle which is why he was asking.
***** I sure do hope it does
gamegaloo You're hoping for a day and night cycle?
Um, bad example, GTA has some pretty stiff character movement.
Python1026 Well it's not perfect but it's relatively very good, granted GTA IV has better animations than GTA V...
liberator48 Actually GTA V had much better animations.
Remember people, we've learnt our lesson - let's do it "High Hopes, Low Expectations", k?
Ditto
Double ditto
***** Triple ditto, Too bad it's a damn $80 to preorder in Canada... I don't think I'm buying this game unless the price is lower
***** I hope they have learned their lesson too and release it unbroken and optimized.
Kinda ridiculous that they're still holding on the Eagle Vision thing when you can actually see people behind walls. That's not so "eagly" IMO
I come from the future and now we have eagle pets that allow us to scout the airs and see through walls, marking enemies and points of interest. Eagly enough for ya?
@@Pablo-ze6un haha
"Our carriage is taking damage but seems to be holding up."- OK......
so lame
Henry's hidden blade looks pretty cool, despite him being a pacifist
Not impressed, AT ALL
pls make the multiplayer similar like the one in ac3, just keep in the abilities, good map layout and sweet ass weapons
