Definitely think you were on the wrong ship... go on a new(er) ship, and travel with experienced cruisers, so that they can show you how to navigate the fun. They can also help you optimize your port days. You also have to pick the right ports/itineraries. Some are more laid back, others have fun activities and excursions. Also be strategic about when you go. Right after hurricane season...December through May are my favorite times to cruise. Please give it another try. 👍🏽👍🏽

Did you install the hub app it gives you all the information you need. My very first cruise I went with my parents and kids and I had a ball. I did all activities and tried all foods. Going on the Celebration next month my 11th cruise.

Lmfao the face you made when you ate the Chili i wish i could’ve told you its gone be trash before you ate it😂💀. And As a Solo traveler I can say making friends on the ship makes the trip 10x fun than before. Someone told me on my first cruise 90% of the people you see on the ship you’ll probably never see again so just enjoy the time and go with the flow😅 🙌🏾

Preparing for my first cruise in August, I've watched a lot of videos from how to pack to what to avoid, and even having an understanding of the layout of the ship for several months now. Also have an idea of themes nights and what restaurants I want to eat. Your son looks like he enjoyed himself which is great. But i wondered how much research you did before your trip? And of course we can't see everything you did while on your trip, but when I saw you had a burger three different times from the same restaurant and your son had pizza it made me wonder what other food options there were or you chose. I remember as a little girl when we went to nice restaurants my mother would not allow us to order a burger. She would say if you wanted a burger we could have stayed home. 😆 Don't think I'm coming for you, but you only mentioned Guys which is why I asked. My first cruise I'm going with a group of 200-300. Maybe your next time do a cruise with a promotional group. Also I joined at least 3 cruise groups online pertaining to my cruise line and even the week I'm cruising which also helps. Getting info from newbies and more seasoned travelers. Just a suggestion.

Try rubbing alcohol on your eyebrows after you get them wax that’s what I started doing a couple years ago and I don’t break out anymore. As soon as they finish, I asked for a paper towel and alcohol but …. Nine times out of 10 I have my own alcohol in the car. Also, girl, nobody was worried about your edges 😂 I didn’t even notice.

But if you don’t have anyone to actually talk to and have fun with it’s kind of lonely. I did almost everything on the hub app and I won prizes and excursions. Awesome time.. you have to get in the mix
You were right about Pig n Anchor lol that cold Mac n cheese and seasonless greens. Now they have a restaurant on the Mardi gras so that might be better.

@@thebreezelifestyle777 are you in the carnival cruise group on Facebook? Yes it was nasty and you know it's bad when people from Texas and the south complain about it. Real BBQ doesn't taste like that. Oh did you eat at the buffet in Halfmoon Caye? If you didn't and you go back there, DON'T eat the more than half raw burgers. I think you would love the spa deck. I have a spa deck cabin in August and you get access to the thermal spa, aromatherapy spa and the infrared spa. That's on the Sunrise.
I heard bad things about that buffet at half moon cay I didn’t even bother lol but that was my favorite destination on the cruise 🥰🏝️ I’m not in any fb groups. I will definitely look into the spa deck thanks for the tips!

I had to pause this video when you was giving your opinion. First of all you are on one of the oldest cruise ship. I wouldn't never recommend that for a first cruise you should have went on a new cruise ship and you would have had better options with everything. Cruising is great in Mt opinion you just need to know how to pick the cruise ship (new) and a good itinerary. Give it a another try on the Mardi Gras or Celebration or the Jubilee when it sails.

The carnival sunrise has been upgraded and refurbished 2 years ago I think for the first time cruise this is just fine I will be cruising on the sunrise in a grand suite for 5 day in August
@@TRAIN110ValleyProductions this ship is Noo longer the triumph it is the sunrise now and the sunrise has been refurbished and remolded 2 years ago I'm sailing with the sunrise on my first cruise staying in the Grand suite to the Bahamas in August

I’m sorry. carnival cruises suck. I guarantee you if you go on royal Caribbean cruises, you’ll change your mind about cruises. The food is great,and way more things to do on the ship. I’m glad you made the best of it tho 👍🏾👍🏾
