If you said that to me maybe... 10-12 years ago I would have thought you were joking. I grew up as the only guy, it was my mom, grandma, and sister. Ever since I could remember when I was 5-6, any of those 3 would be instigating me daily, multiple times a day. Constantly drilled into me "never be disrespectful to woman" while at the same time im being treated like less than human, and like im nothing. I always got belittled/talked down/berated if I mentioned about something I like or an accomplishment, "That's not being a real man" and she always gave that notion like you're only a man if you do things harder than they need to be, and if you tried to make it easier you're a pussy. Never told my mom anything anymore, all she knows about me is that "I like computers" everything else I closed off and kept to me. To wrap this up, her nd my sister were clowning on me one night for how much of a loser I was for still living at my moms place at the age of 19 (2009) so that night I said fuck it im leaving, packed a bag and left. Both of them blew up my phone saying how much of a piece of shit loser I was for leaving when my mom is at her lowest point in life right now (seriously, what the fuck??)
I don’t understand that kinda of parents my parents wanted my younger sister to be a boy but when it didn’t happened nothing changed they still loved her and treated her even better than they did to us since she was the youngest
When I was a kid, Mom was renting an apartment. The vacant lot next to my Grandparents' place was for sale. Mom needed to own the lot free & clear to get a mortgage to put in a trailer. So she borrowed the money from the Grandfolks. That Christmas, Mom opened her card from them, and inside was her promissory note to them marked "Paid in full" and signed by the Grandfolks. I was the luckiest kid in the world living next door to them. Even though they both lived into their late '90s, it wasn't long enough.
What I don’t get is why if you have one kid you absolutely love and know that you won’t love another as much as you love your first, then why have more? “All children deserve parents, but not all parents deserve children.” -A wise person
@@InsaneLaughter01 and same issues those kind of people have with pets is that they grow up. Once the pet is no longer in the cute infant stage after a year, they get another pup/kitten and the older pet gets neglected. Same is with parents who love babys, but despices todlers/teenagers.
I got a crap car when I got my license, grandmother got it for me ran like a beauty until I let a friend drive and he flipped it my brother got a car too but his dad got it for him
Stop. They treated him horribly for something that wasn't his fault. I've been there. My stepdad HATED me because I wasn't his child. I was called a road whore & a bitch before I even knew what the words meant or was even in school. He outwardly favored my other siblings over me. I still remember being about 9 & vowing to myself that I wouldn't have children or sex before I was married to be sure NOT to even take the chance of inflicting my upbringing on my children. People think children aren't aware of everything going on in their environment, but believe me, Loathing from an adult in authority over you, makes one hell of an impression!
Dude buy your own car man my parents have the money to get me and my siblings cars but they never did they always told us is our responsibility yes I have a 14 year old car but it’s something I worked hard for and I’m proud of it trust u but your own you’ll be proud
True but that wasn't the point, it was about the fact they were being assholes and treating one kid better than the other in large ways. The car is the obvious big thing, but there was a lot more to it than just a car.

How to lose the love and respect of both of your children in one easy lesson.
Grandma is always W
I've seen so many stories involving a "favorite child" that I never expected OP's brother to side with him.
Your grandma sounds like a very good and kind sweet lady that knows that there should have never been any favoritism to ever have been shown at all.
THE GRANDMA IS THE G-O-A-T. BIG W MOVE BY HER.
Especially the humiliation part!
A textbook example of Good brothers and bad parents. In the end it ended well and that's all that matters
Grandma and the rest of the family who helped out are W humans

the way they treated him, i was expecting him to be the result of the moms affair, so his sole existence reminded them of her infidelity.
Parents wanted a daughter, got a son, then were shitheads. Now both kids are going to leave them behind alone

I love grandma and uncle!
Its sad it took 18 years for the family to do something about this mistreatment.

This is why parents like this struggle later in life because their children owe them nothing after all that cruelty.

It’s because people think kids are pets or trophies and not living people.
