Tourna Big Hitter Silver 7 Tour and Tourna Big Hitter Silver are two of my favourite strings of all time. Saw your post on round vs shaped polys. You should also try the Big Hitter Silver which is round (not seven sides) they play very differently. I've ordered Kirschbaum Orange to compare to Big Hitter Silver to see how your favourite string stacks up against mine. By the way, great channel and love your method of comparing strings. Best on the net.
Good stuff, the full review is being posted tomorrow. If the only difference is round v 7-sided, how different can it play? KSSO and Big Hitter Silver are quite opposite spectrums in terms feel/response. Both are outstanding in their own ways, but I'll be curious to hear how you like KSSO knowing how different they are. Because KSSO is quite soft it does not play or last as long when strung below 48-50lbs and ideally 52+, otherwise it can get mushy for some people after 2-3 hours. Thanks for the compliment, means a lot!
I actually suspect the materials used in BHS7T vs BHS are different. BHS7T is a darker silver grey and the BHS is whitish. Also the BHS7T is actually slightly thinner and with its shape has big bite. The BHS is excellent for ball pocketing.
@@janvecek3855 TK summarised it well; S7 has aluminium-like bite and feel, SSO is more muted yet somehow still has a crisp response - needs to be strung slightly higher. S7 and SSO play very differently. Alternatively, Big Hitter Silver is closer to SSO, but feels thicker and slightly lower powered and muted, but in the same class comfort control round poly. All three are in my top favourite strings. Hope that helps!
Me too, initial impressions are very favorable. But I've thought that before with string like Head Hawk Touch where it fell off the cliff. Full review should be completed sometime late next week
BHS7T has good tension maintenance and a lot of feel. Grips a ton. Its round shaped cousin BHS is more linear and on the right racquet amazing pocketing. Tried in DR98 at 51lbs and it is sublime.
How does it compare to Tour Bite? I was always interested in this string (and all strings that are crisp, edged, grips the ball, and has lots of feedback), but it doesn't come in my preferred gauge 18 1.15.
It's been quite some time since I've used Tour Bite, but from memory Tour Bite is harsher. I'm interested to see how S7 breaks-in and if it continues to maintain all it's feedback. At this early stage it reminds me of a cross between Alu Power and Tour Bite
@@cendolman5381 The MP is not headlight balanced enough from my perspective and that's exactly why I went with the MP-L, so that I could make it more headlight and get the whip speed I prefer. That helps me get the juice I need at my stage of play.

what tension are you using for your string reviews?
50lbs 👍
Hi, im using gravity and this tourna too, would like to know what kind of gravity is this and the string tension, thanks for the response
@@cendolman5381 Head Gravity MPL customized to 325g (strung) and around 320 swing weight. Very similar to the MP with more head light balance
@@TK-Tennis mine is MP, pretty low powered, and lil bit head heavy imo,

"Schei*e" while hitting the saber... understandable 😅
So what are you trying to say with this video?
That u should buy a candy and go to bed.
Clearly nothing useful ;-). It's a simple 1st impression video and by your comment maybe I need to improve the format
