I think Crix may have misspoken or not correctly explained the off hand hit chance piece here. When you have heroic strike queued, it removes the increased offhand miss penalty, but you still suffer from the normal 8% miss chance. So at 60 when you are soft hit capped at 9%, when you have a heroic strike queued, your off hand will never miss. However at 25 since we currently cannot achieve the soft hit cap with the current available gear, your offhand hits certainly can miss even with heroic strike queued up.

For many people it's probably even detrimental to their overall dmg. As per Fight Club sims at lvl 60(Era), if you play it perfectly, it sims to be less than a 1% dps gain unbuffed. With world buffs at 60 where rage is not an issue, it sims less than 0.1%(!) gain with perfect play. If you screw it up just once by accidentally cancelling a HS/Cleave that you weren't supposed to, or screw up some other part of your gameplay cause you were focusing on HS queueing, you're already at a loss.
HS queue will roll new warriors in SoD (speaking from experience) as they will dump rage and won’t keep up enrage from CBR. Also in p1 raid bosses are only 2 levels higher, instead of 3- so it’s even less impactful.
Excellent and concise overview of the Warrior in current Season of Discovery, nice work! 7:28 In regards to Improved Cleave, the bonus damage on a Level 20 Cleave, is 5. It does not increase the weapon damage portion of Cleave. If you have 3/3 Improved Cleave talents, it increases the 5 bonus damage to 11. Calculated as follows: 5 + (5 x 1.2) = 5 + (6) = 11 It's a marginal improvement at best and requires too many talents points to get to, that could be better spent elsewhere in my opinion.

This is mostly speculation I have a belief the parry talent is a better option than the swap stance perk. This is due to warriors now being top dps, and ads potentially pulling aggro. If you’re BIS this will classify you as a tank for the duration of the 1st tier in this season. But furthermore yielding a parry will decrease your swingtime, which earns you more rage. The utility of parry will come in handy if you ever hold threat instead of the much more rare occasion of swapping stances. Furthermore on tank topic there is a variation of high hitting dps to shield users spamming devastation.
Hi great vid. Just want to mention that your heroic strike macro should have the /startattack come AFTER the /cast Heroic Strike, not before, because if you have it before, then if your auto attack is ready when you press it, it will do the auto attack first, then HS on your next melee swing. Same with cleave macro obviously.

Maybe it is the major skills u want to spam once u trigger consumed by rage buffs. Also the attack empowered by heroic strike will not generate rage so it is also a good skills to dump rage. Hamstring is kinda suck as it deals only 5 dmg even thunderclap is a better choice compared to it.
Hamstring can proc wild strikes, thunder clap cannot. This is why hamstring is used while 80-90 rage if enrage is about to fall off. Heroic strike and hamstring as rage dump if close to 100 rage.

I'm not sure. They could possibly have a stronger weapon, making them deal more damage, thus gaining more threat. They could be critting or using Endless Rage rune possibly, which gives more rage on your abilities

How is that hit is the number one stat prio but then the bis gear doesn’t include the gear that actually has hit on it? Algae gauntlets instead of void touched and silver sabatons instead of the set boots. Seems fairly contradictory
because you arent reaching the hit cap anyway, and the fights are so short so it becomes a weigh-up of whether you want more consistent damage (hit rating) or spikier damage (str). you take things like fight length into account for these types of things.
I think it's actually better to put 2 points into Parry vs Tactical Mastery as if you're a true pumper you're really never stance dancing anyway considering Consumed by Rage.
in group play with feral windfury it would be suboptimal because it cannot trigger windfury. hamstring (for dw), quick strike (for 2hd), or sunder armor (for either) can all proc windfury and have superior damage and/or utility compared to thunderclap. if you're just talking solo play though you can pretty much do whatever you want
you should never Thunderclap, if using 2h; always use Quick Strike and only QS. If you DW you want to spam hamstring. If ur at 100, you can queue a heroic strike + hamstring just as your main hand swings, that brings you down to 78 rage which is perfect to reset CBR
My only question right now is how warriors can get up to 15% crit. I get 8.8% crit on my logs with the epic 2H. Maybe the 1 on cruelty over impale is actually the answer here. Thanks for the guide.
I've yet to see a video including this one that explains how to manage Rage. I've never seen my rage over 40. I just use the first moves that become available, usually it's quick strike or heroic strike. I never pool it. No one explains this
He explains pooling rage in this video where you want to coordinate with your group so you are hitting a trash mob before the boss fight so that you start it with around 70 or so rage so you can quickly get over the 80 threshold for CBR. He also mentions you can use rage pots and blood rage to help make this easier if you aren't able to coordinate that trash mob. Also explains that if you aren't at that 80 threshold, just auto attack up to 80.

You're thinking too deep into my friend. I use a chat blocker because most of the time it's just to cover my chat up. That's where my in game chat is. Other times it covers of my webcam from my stream vod as to not distract. I've never been one to show my face and talk in my videos. For more professional this way IMO. I'm not sure why you'd assume I'm against my viewers becoming subscribers, and I'm also not sure why it'd matter much whether it's a camera or chat blocker. People come for the information in the video, not to see my face IMO.
Well there is a difference between as much as I can 20:05 and 100% up time, also without knowing your gear or the guild hard to really give you any tips.. if you kill times are 3 mins long vs 30 seconds that 8% crit rate could be hurting you if you don't spike early etc.. the long the fight the more rng. Maybe your gears bad or your not optimizing your time on boss etc..
you probably dont have optimal grp comp+maxed out wbs. even having a warlock is 5.6% dps gain or so because of cor, paladin for bom, you must have a feral if you get that high already theyre prob 40% dps increase on their own, priest with homunculus is something insane too i am guessing over 10% since you dont need to use gcds on sunder+its much larger armor reduction, surely you have hunter for kings. then dmf 10% dmg buff once every two weeks,no chance without it, ashenvale is 5% dmg buff once a week so you cant get it every run. expect to get around 80% avg if you just have feral+hunter and just bfd wb and no crazy sheningans
I'm only recommending what the Sims are my friend. There's many ways to build your toon, I wont tell you how to do it. I will say that my rage is more than fine and I'm not even geared yet. I imagine it will just get better. Also Priest should 100% run Homunculi, unless maybe solo healing.
While I agree, I personally don't mind this one because Foji makes WA's for like everything. Wotlk, cata, classic, raid WA's, etc and you get all of them from one sub
i liked the guide. If you stop hitting QE or AD whitchever one it is you use to sidestep back and fourth, ill come back for more of your content. It's annoying and nauseating.
Minor fortitude elixir and trolls blood potion are useless consumables. 27 health when your max hp is 1500 isnt gonna stop you from dying to 4 hits of 400 damage. The trolls blood wouldve ticked maybe twice in the time it takes for you to take four hits, providing an extra 12 health, which still doesn't save you. What would save you is a druid pressing lifebloom or wild growth, a priest pressing penance or shield, a paladin using bop, a shaman using earth shield... You could even switch to a shield for a couple seconds and stop dps so your tank can regain threat. Those consumables are gonna do nothing for your survival in 99% of the cases where you'd need them.
😂 they are definitely NOT! You know this game have more aspects to judge by than target dummy (pve) dps with windfury from another class and 300 buffs and heals. Until yotubers/twitch streamers start talking for classes in general in all their aspects nothing will ever change or improve. I will gladly trade in a heart beat the 1st standing of supported target dummy godmode standing to feel better in pvp on my own without without being healed buffed and supported. Yes i dont want to be unkillable or a godmode but if any warrior says he feel good in pvp atm on its own hes delusional

Im new to warrior. So everything in this rotation is activated in-between swings? Youre trying not to disrupt the regular melee swings right?
No you can press it all. The only thing that is based off your swing is Heroic Strike

The crit is way better than impale atm
Impale is not the move. The crit damage bonus is only to yellow hits like heroic strike or overpower

it counts as a melee attack, which can proc windfury! in classic we called it hamstring fishing :D

Raging blow works with the wbrage from consumed by rage. Flagellation doesn't. Cant remember how its worded on the rune but it does say

what is the purpose of the photo in the bottom left besides covering content...i dont need a photo of your logo cause i already know im watching one of your videos, Im already here, what is the thought process of putting that photo over the footage? if it were a webcam of you talking it would make sense and it would be better content, but its not the case, you just put a photo covering video...why are you against having your viewers become subscribers?
You're thinking too deep into my friend. I use a chat blocker because most of the time it's just to cover my chat up. That's where my in game chat is. Other times it covers of my webcam from my stream vod as to not distract. I've never been one to show my face and talk in my videos. For more professional this way IMO.
I'm not sure why you'd assume I'm against my viewers becoming subscribers, and I'm also not sure why it'd matter much whether it's a camera or chat blocker. People come for the information in the video, not to see my face IMO.

still only getting 60-70 parses as a DW following this. Not sure what im doing wrong. maintaining rage buff as much as i can
Well there is a difference between as much as I can 20:05 and 100% up time, also without knowing your gear or the guild hard to really give you any tips.. if you kill times are 3 mins long vs 30 seconds that 8% crit rate could be hurting you if you don't spike early etc.. the long the fight the more rng. Maybe your gears bad or your not optimizing your time on boss etc..
you probably dont have optimal grp comp+maxed out wbs. even having a warlock is 5.6% dps gain or so because of cor, paladin for bom, you must have a feral if you get that high already theyre prob 40% dps increase on their own, priest with homunculus is something insane too i am guessing over 10% since you dont need to use gcds on sunder+its much larger armor reduction, surely you have hunter for kings.
then dmf 10% dmg buff once every two weeks,no chance without it, ashenvale is 5% dmg buff once a week so you cant get it every run.
expect to get around 80% avg if you just have feral+hunter and just bfd wb and no crazy sheningans

I'm only recommending what the Sims are my friend. There's many ways to build your toon, I wont tell you how to do it. I will say that my rage is more than fine and I'm not even geared yet. I imagine it will just get better. Also Priest should 100% run Homunculi, unless maybe solo healing.

i liked the guide. If you stop hitting QE or AD whitchever one it is you use to sidestep back and fourth, ill come back for more of your content. It's annoying and nauseating.

Minor fortitude elixir and trolls blood potion are useless consumables. 27 health when your max hp is 1500 isnt gonna stop you from dying to 4 hits of 400 damage. The trolls blood wouldve ticked maybe twice in the time it takes for you to take four hits, providing an extra 12 health, which still doesn't save you. What would save you is a druid pressing lifebloom or wild growth, a priest pressing penance or shield, a paladin using bop, a shaman using earth shield... You could even switch to a shield for a couple seconds and stop dps so your tank can regain threat. Those consumables are gonna do nothing for your survival in 99% of the cases where you'd need them.
While I agree, I've died before with a 47dmg overkill. Elixir of Fort would've saved me.

😂 they are definitely NOT! You know this game have more aspects to judge by than target dummy (pve) dps with windfury from another class and 300 buffs and heals. Until yotubers/twitch streamers start talking for classes in general in all their aspects nothing will ever change or improve. I will gladly trade in a heart beat the 1st standing of supported target dummy godmode standing to feel better in pvp on my own without without being healed buffed and supported. Yes i dont want to be unkillable or a godmode but if any warrior says he feel good in pvp atm on its own hes delusional

@@Crix_Gaming Sorry dunno why i haven’t mentioned it clearly. Is about the “warriors are in rly good spot now” . Its more like “ warriors pve dps ONLYis in a good spot” not warriors overall. I just hope some day someone as popular as you will start talking for classes and how good they are considering more than pve target dummy raid bosses. Ppl like you are the only voice and only chance for Blizzards attention and for now all they hear is probably how good warriors are when they are bad for pvp that nobody talks about. Ofc im talking how the class feels on its own and not whe u have 3 priests behind your back to support you while taking tons of damage to generate rage so u can be somewhat impactful on competitive scene. Literally all classes are mmore desired in premades than autohit rage starve simulator called a warrior
