I'm a big robben fan and you've nailed it better than anyone. Helps if you get the playing right. Most people's gear demos go downhill the second they stop talking and start playing!
Impressive playing, great Robben tone and informative demo! Keep up the good work, Gabriel! We have documented your gear/settings and linked to your clip on our new site. Hope that is ok! 😀
I'm a huge fan of Robben's playing, but was never as enamored as most with the tone of the Dumble. They sound very compressed to me, with a mid-range honk that you cannot mistake. To me, it's simply a tube-screamer [type] with compression to get relatively close. You won't get the clarity or volume of the Dumble, but it will get you in the ball park as well. Nice job here. You definitely got tones which are reminiscent of the his Dumble tone.
You want Robben’s tone, look no further than the Cornerstone Gladio pedal. It’s pure Dumble in a box. Forgot the Vertex “con-man” edition of circuits that are freely available online… the guys a crook and would sell you his mother too make a buck, if he could, and then give some half-baked apology that sounds nothing like HE is at fault. Again, he’s a crook, first and foremost. Video was great, except for that pedal. 🤮 Best to YOU! ✌🏼
"...that sounds awesome man..." ;-) "dumble in the box" .................... why not turn down the original solo to enable us to decide wether the sound matches...

Nice work, and thanks for the tips!
Thanks for watching Gerald! Really appreciate the support!
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing, especially the detailed info on the equipment!
Are you sure is not a TC Hall of Fame reverb ?? He is always using Timeline delay.
You’re correct. Robben does not use the TC Delay, but does use the TC HOF instead. ✌🏼
Great job! Which pickups are in the 335?
Burstbuckers? Theyre the original pickups.

Yeah i get that. Not all ODS amps sound like that. They all have their own character. Thanks for checking out the video man, appreciate the comment!
If he doesn’t have the dumble a super with a zen drive is supposed to be his fall back
Nice playing man
Holy flirping snit! That was fire!
Why can’t more people of your age appreciate these things?
He uses a longer delay for the slap, he sets the time at 9 oclock on the Flashback.
I think RF stopped using the Dumblator.
Hmmm...
Thanks for watching the video Simon!
