Nice vid. I struggle to land hits on the adds p1. No matter my seed of corruption timing, i cant even get 1 rapture off before the other DPS kill them.
I usually end up first phase as the last or one of the lasts dps with half the damage of the top. It kinda sucks cause i can easily top in any other fight, including Kael.
Another setback is that we totally overgear this and i completely stop damage when hes around 80% to wait for 1 more Cleansing pain. Not doing this results in some people having too many stacks of the debuff on transition.

And yeah it can be tough for us to do a ton of damage in P1 with monks, DKs, boomies, mages, and hunters existing XD.
That being said, we provide a lot of damage in phase 2 and 3 so that makes up for it. I've swapped my rotation up a bit since I posted this video; I now only use my 2 minute or less CDs on pull (Dark Soul, Bell Trinket, Orc Racial) and save my potion and darkglare for phase 2 instead. Since the adds are dying so quickly in phase 1 anyways, I feel like using everything on pull is kinda pointless. I can post a more recent kill to highlight how I've changed my rotation to deal with this if you are interested!

Ignore adds in phase 1, they're useless for us to even bother damaging. Focus on boss damage throughout the entire fight, that's where we shine.
@@Solanisx thats what i do, just saying other specs double my damage on p1 cause they do damage adds. On my last raid nights i was catching up though, on p2 people start being messy and dot damage pushes me to the top spots
We can do decent damage in P1 if u time ur seeds right, but its not really a priority to be #1 in P1. Ur a pumper in P2 and P3

While AC makes your rotation feel easier, overall it is a dps loss compared to SL. Phase 1 damage isn't really relevant, those adds will always die before your corruption falls off anyways. And in phase 2, the adds you are multi-dotting won't generally be alive long enough to get a ton of value out of it. Alongside that, phase 3 is where DPS REALLY matters, so having the extra dot for raptures there is super crucial. You will have a lot of time to keep refreshing SL in phase 3 with all the moving you are doing, so it shouldn't be hard to maintain then, and like i said just makes your raptures much more potent.
