- How about taking the all new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 to Leh Ladakh? Well here is my take on this matter.

Hi Bulu, wish you could also quote Indian bikes which most viewers ride. For example Himalayan is probably a very cost effect bike for Leh Ladakh. I am almost 60 and went for a Manali Leh Ladakh with my wife as pillion this year and it was a very effective bike. Most viewers people will never ride costlier bikes even if it were better than these bikes. Just a suggestion

I own a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle . Recently I faced an issue due to untrained technician and manufacturing defect. I had to pay 40k from my pocket even though my bike was under warranty period. This was brought to the notice of service head Raghavendra Chandrashekaran, but there was no response.
Initially ECU and instrument cluster stopped working due to RR unit problem, as a reason I took my bike to Royal Enfield service centre at Vijayapura, Karnataka. They kept the bike for 4 to 5 days, during which they found that there was a wiring problem and removed it. While doing this they have damaged the complete wiring system. Due to this negligence I had to bear the burden.

I have an interceptor 650, and I love it with necessary mods.
I also went for a Manali Leh Ladakh trip and took a Himalayan on rent. Believe that was the right decision 👍

I have booked a super meteor in its touring trim, I am yet to test ride the bike and may be taking too early. However, ever since I booked the bike I have been in a continuous state of confusion regarding the booking and if I would want to go ahead with buying this beauty and was wondering if you could help me reach a conclusion. I am seriously contemplating between the Dominar 400 & the Super Meteor, while I understand that they are both different class of bikes, I am looking a the versatility that the Dominar has on offer. I do around 2 or 3 rides every year and the frequent city commutes. My rides are usually in the range of 1200 to 1800 kms, these rides are predominantly on well paved roads with the occasional rough patches, most of my ride destinations are hill stations (with the every persistent dream of doing the Indian riders mecca, Ladhak). The dominar comes across as a capable 'do-it-all' bike and hence ticks more boxes for me when put head to head with the Super Meteor, however the appeal of a big bike, the build quality, the proposition of easy lazy effortless day long cruises fueled my love of cruisers has put me into this state of confusion.
Sorry about the long post and I hope you (and the more experienced members here) will be able to help me make an informed decision regarding this.

I rode interceptor, continental & ktm adventure 390. I bought 390 adventure because I found that it has more benefits owning it than RE650's. Top end performance is same, Low end torque is not a big issue & has many mods to get fixed. It's jack of all trades bike even in city I am comfortable able to rider it with my boxer shorts due to dual fan setup very less heat compared Duke 390 & RC 390. RE650 is torture in city summers it's Oven to be frank.

Thanks bhai for the conclusion. Actually I’m really confused about buying a new buke currently i have classic reborn. I want more juice n power now. Thinking about buying tiger 900 rally pro its all rounder bike. When i want off road and long tour going to pick this bike and for shonkiya gedi i have classic reborn.I even think of Harley Fatbob/Fat Boy. But discard due to Harley left India and their bikes are really overpriced. Let me know your thoughts bhai.

kya ktm 390 adv lena abhi sahi hoga? kyuki KTM last kuch years pe iss bike pe koi v change nehin kiya hai, so agar ek ya do year may kuch bada change la de to(jyase duke ka model pura hi change kar diya tha) to tab ye wala model k parts ko leke issues aa sakte hai kya?
