I've been waiting for someone to talk about this!! The item description was what got me thinking about Gemini's origins even before that memory at the Isle of Alchemists, which really only made me question things more after I saw it. This game has so many little lore breadcrumbs sprinkled throughout and it's just fascinating to dig into.
I agree completely. I played through the game a few times and picked up more details each time, which really got me thinking and helped me realize that there was more information related to Gemini's story than it seemed at first. Thanks for watching the video and I appreciate your comment!
Great video, thanks. What I felt was missing: La Bleiwies 1. Note or flyer that even the legendary stalker liked it 2. Old woman asking for it 3. When finally finding it, Gemini also comments on this. Yeah, he also comments on other side quest finds. But this one might have a Gemini connection as well
I considered including that information in this video but ultimately it's meant to be about Gemini and not the Legendary Stalker. Talking about La Bleiwies doesn't necessarily give us any additional insight or clues into who Gemini is so I decided to omit it. That being said, I am planning on making a video about the Legendary Stalker so I will definitely include it there. Thanks for the feedback!
Maybe it's the companion you can summon near the bosses. I've got no way of corroborating this, but maybe Gemini sort of programs a mass of stardust, ergo, and other stuff to make a companion for you to help you out. I'm not sure if he would directly control it or simply 'program' it, but I don't remember getting much of an explanation for such beings. Might even explain how you can fight at all. Gemini, being literally the first thing you interact with, 'uploads' information concerning combat straight to you. Just a thought I had part way through your video. I appreciate the effort you put into this.
The thought of Gemini "uploading" combat information to us is definitely and interesting thought. Our interactions with him and the way our Ergo is tied into his could have implications that no one has even considered yet. That being said, without getting too far into the weeds here, I believe that the Specters we summon are actually future/alternate versions of us that we call to our plane. The device itself is called Crack's Calling, which makes me think it links fissures between our reality and another. Aside from the body and hairstyle looking similar to us at the end of the game, the Spectre joins the fight using the weapon we can obtain from that particular boss once we defeat them and exhange their Ergo for it. There's a bit more information out there that can corroborate this theory, though I have also considered the plausibility of it actually being an alternate version of Gemini that we summon from another time and plane; one who was never destroyed and possibly even fulfilled the role we take in his world. Anyway, now I'm rambling--thanks for your comment and for getting me thinking about this stuff all over again. :)
I clicked this video so fast because I thought I would ever see someone talk about Gemini but here we are! I was so curious about Gemini and I knew already that some clues were left about him, especially the part with the legendary stalker, but you managed to find more information by reading the items description and the story you told makes sense to me. I hope they will include more things about Gemini in the future DLC. Also because I clicked this video so fast I didnt even realise how undderated you are! The video is great and I really liked the editing especially when you used the loading screen of Lies of P to explaing what you were talking about! Very great video keep up :)! Apart from that, Lies of p is such a beautiful game and I wish more people would talk about it or at least try it, I absolutely loved it, thank you for talking about it!
You made my week! Thank you so much for your comments! When I first got into Lies of P and started looking for lore videos, Gemini is the first one I tried to find and I was disappointed that no one was talking about him. At first I assumed it was because of the total lack of information in the game, but the more I played and the more clues I picked up on I realized that there was more to his story than it seemed and I felt like I owed it to myself to make my first lore video about him. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, and I appreciate you pointing out the effort I put into the editing and graphics too. I also hope we learn a little more about Gemini in the DLC. Lies of P is one of my favorite games of all time and I can't get enough of it!
I love how thorough this analysis was, the concepts for the Legendary Stalker and Gemini were a really cool touch! Also I'd be interested to see your thoughts on how Gemini is connected to Carlo, especially if he's the one who trained him
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! I may end up making a Gemini pt. 2 video some day where I dive deep into speculation territory but for now I'm focusing on finding content for other vids to make. In other words--I haven't formed any thoughts around Gemini + Carlo that are solid enough to discuss just quite yet, but maybe some day
Please make more lies of p videos this was so good! I never comment but holy crap that’s so crazy! All of the implications about a sequel like what geminis former body will be like or how the legendary stalker seemed to be the one talking to Paracelsus so what kind of connection could they have from there… it’s all so exciting!! Thank you so much I never would have never noticed all these extra lore details
Awesome, I'm glad you liked the video enough to decide to comment! I'd never considered that Paracelsus was talking to The Legendary Stalker on the phone but that could be an interesting connection for sure. And as for lore details--it always pays to read all of the item descriptions and take notes!
I do think the cricket robots can talk without Gemini. It says they act as guides before things went south. I picture them like a gps, where they talked like in the beginning of the game before he wakes up in the hotel. Love the video!!
That's something I've been battling with forever and can't make up my mind about. There's so many questions around the lamp(s), the crickets, and how people used the crickets. It's been some time since I originally made this video and at this point I do think your theory is probable; they may all have had basic speech capabilities, so what makes Gemini "unique" isn't necessarily his ability to speak, but his ability to communicate via Ergo. Man, I feel like I could make a whole video just trying to sort through thoughts like this. Anyway, thanks for commenting!
Thank you for talk about this! Gemini with Giangio is my fav character and it’s so sad to know so less things about him, this help me a lot for think about other options, even because when I search on internet nobody mentions that ergo memory part and I’m always so confused like “HOW NOBODY HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT IT?”. Let’s hope they release more information, I love him so muchhh 😭
I agree! As soon as I finished my first playthrough and experienced the story once I couldn't wait to go back through and see if there were things about Gemini that I missed. I hope they give us some more information too!
Exactly! I've had lore conversations with people who develop entire theories based on very little evidence and I wanted to approach things a bit more responsibly. Once I started digging into Gemini more I was surprised at how much information is actually there. Thanks for the comment and the sub!
somehow, the pathway of the Cricket, its practitioners and coupled with your insights this highly reminded me of the Hunter of Hunters of BB, if you know you know, and boy hope that in the upcoming we get to meeting the legendary Stalker, the notion of her highly resemble that of those badass bosses, Maleina, Lady Maria and Sister Friede, so you know what i mean.
That's a great connection and would be an awesome inclusion in the DLC. The main issue with the Path of the Cricket and the Legendary Stalker is that we really have absolutely no other (obvious) lore around them, other than she is credited with the style; we have no idea how many other people learned the style or what happened to her in the first place. There are floating theories that she could be Antonia (I disagree), the Lady in the Window (plausible), or someone else entirely. I actually just developed a new theory on that and am hoping to put it into a video before the DLC releases. Either way it would be awesome if we get to meet (and fight) her in the DLC!
@@inspektahmcduck that's awesome, keep it up. Btw, the video's edits is well done,👌, the game's sound track, backgrounds and front used were very spot on, I'd love to see more of your videos like this.👍
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment! I'm curious to see where they go with him too. At the very least I want to know what happened in the train car at the start of the game
Thanks! I took a break for a bit but might slowly start easing back into it. I just dropped one about the Legendary Stalker if you want to check it out and let me know what you think!
Incredible theory and great video! I really loved watching this! Of course you can do what you want but, I think more videos like this would be really cool! The Souls games themselves get a lot of love, but the Soulslikes rarely get much coverage, stuff like Salt & Sanctuary, Death's Gambit, Nioh, and of course Lies of P. Regardless, this video was fun and well researched, seeing your passion was infectious. Good stuff!
Thanks, I appreciate the comment! Admittedly I've only played a few soulslikes and spend most of my time on Fromsoft games themselves, but Lies of P hooked me like nothing else. I've already started working on my next Lies of P lore video so keep an eye out for it soon!
It does make sense that only our character can see them, but it's also interesting that Sophia is aware of them and tells us to "be careful." And a big part of me wonders if they're actually from the perspective of someone else who witnessed all of these events, because why else would Carlo have a memory of his own death? Lots to think about for sure
I have a tendency to pick the most out of the way characters as my favourite, Black Cat and Gemini, and it's so cool to see such an in depth and well-produced video on our favourite cricket guide! I didn't even notice these things going through the game and it makes me want to dive into it again :D
I agree! I'm usually drawn to weird side characters and I think The Mad Donkey is my favorite in Lies of P because his backstory (and the mystery around it) drives me the craziest out of anyone else. Always read your item descriptions and you'll feel the tingles in your brain as you start making connections. It's a wonderful sensation. :)
Oh man, I am stuck on Laxasia so I had to stop watching pretty early but I will definitely come back to finish this vid when I complete the game. I like your style though, subbed!
Ha, I'm glad you stopped watching! It's worth experiencing the story of this game firsthand and obviously wouldn't have the same impact on you if you got a ton of spoilers. As for Laxasia, I know you didn't ask for any tips but a big thing that helped me personally was learning to parry her lighting at the very beginning of Phase 2. If you can time it right and knock each bolt back towards her it cuts her health down nearly by half. Good luck!
@@Enzo-gw7zf Ha, I know how that goes. After I made my first two Lies of P vids I took a break to play a couple other things and then Elden Ring DLC came out. Too many games, not enough time!
It's not "Stop and smell the roses," it's "Stop and read the item descriptions" :) The story works well enough on its own during a playthrough, but it's crazy how much deeper the lore goes if you take the time to investigate.
When you first started this theory I was skeptical, but you made a great argument that I really agree with! What if the staintess of mercy statue and Gemini have a connection? He makes a comment about the statue when you first encounter it, Sophia is there, and probably the most important piece of evidence, "A new life for an old puppet." Gemini may have been remade here after the amulet was attached.
ANOTHER THOUGHT! Gemini was found by a pool of blood. If he was a puppet, he may have been affected by the frenzy if he didn't have an awaken ego. He might have been damaged BY the legendary stalker, whom he attacked. The stalker may have had a hand in transporting P. He could have been intended to be the NEW Gemini to accompany the stalker as a way to get Ergo for the new Carlo!
@@windwardhook Great connections and theories! I've been trying to figure out the mystery behind the Saintess Statue for a while now and using it to resurrect Gemini was not something I had considered at all. I really like the potential implications behind that theory. As for the bit about the Legendary Stalker/Gemini/Carlo connections, I also really like the way you're thinking there. At this point I really don't think we have enough information to point us in one direction or another, so within our own headcannons is where we have to live for now. However, I'm working on my own personal theory and I do think that The Legendary Stalker had something to do with P and Gemini in the train, that's for sure. Thanks for the thoughtful comments!
The butterfly lady alludes to her being put of her own body for a long time. Assuming this is true it wouldnt be a huge reach to say that gimini could have been in his other form long enough ago to have known camille which is the woman holding the dying puppet in the statue. (Geppetos wife) And is one of the only places we see the butterfly girl project her image. @inspektahmcduck
@@sgttater2313 I love to say that the timeline in Lies of P is "murky at best," and I think you're absolutely right about this being a possibility. It's nearly impossible to determine an accurate timeline of events between what we know as Carlo's childhood (with The Legendary Stalker and Gemini) versus when we wake up on the train. I've tried sorting out a timeline based on concrete details from the game but it makes me head spin. Gemini definitely could have known Camille, depending on how long she was around before they discovered her secret and decommissioned her.
Nice, congrats! It's definitely worth doing at least one more playthrough and choosing different lie/truth options so that you can see the different interactions with the characters. Plus every time you play through you'll pick up more of the lore bits and start making connections. It's so gratifying.
Thank you! I hope we get some more information too, and honestly it would be great if I ended up being completely wrong and his backstory is something I'd never even considered. I love how things can be interpreted in so many different ways.
One thing I'm confused about is why this video doesn't mention the meaning of Gemini, which is Latin for "twins," with the constellation Gemini being of the twins Castor and Pollux in Greek mythology. I don't recall anything in the game referencing this, but I imagine the choice of name probably implies something about his nature, beyond just being a pun on "Jiminy."
Good question and hopefully I can provide you with a reasonable answer. First--you're right, there's no mention to it in the game. I've seen other lore videos where people get into the etymology of certain names and terms but that's not really what I'm here for; I'm trying to figure out as much as we can with what we know through the eyes of the game. Reaching beyond the confines of the in-game lore to try to figure out the reason why he may be named Gemini feels irresponsible for this type of video, though that's not to say it wouldn't make a good topic for discussion on its own. Second, while you could argue a few points around Gemini meaning "twins" (like having "dual identities," one being the broken Gemini at the start and then the fixed Gemini soon after, or him having a life before he was put into a lamp) it's not enough to warrant drawing attention to it. Including something purely speculative like that in this video would be--in my opinion--a distraction from the larger observations that I'm trying to make. Hope that makes sense.
Love your lore and theories. One foggy area though, if Gemini was talking to us telepathically, then why was his voice all distorted and like a broken speaker in the beginning when we found him. Maybe it was both? Maybe he was using physical speakers first and after meeting Sophia connected the telepathic Bluetooth 😊
Thanks for the comment and the question! I touched on this starting at 31:52, but my theory is that since he was damaged at the start of the game then he's basically running on "emergency power" so to speak--until we meet Sophia at the Hotel and interact with her. Once we've come into contact directly with Sophia, whose Ergo makes up a big chunk of Gemini's composition, he is essentially recharged back to full power and able to think/speak clearly. It's the same as receiving an audio transmission through a weak signal versus a strong one, so using your example I guess you could say Gemini only had enough power to broadcast over AM when he was damaged but once he recharged he was in full "Bluetooth" mode. Hope that helps!
Yep! That's what I get into towards the end of the video (check out 27:53). We and Sophia are the only ones who can hear him because it's all over an Ergo wavelength, not auditory speech.
What is Gemini is developed more than affinity, and developed a second personality, the broken one that came about when Gemini was damaged and dying. Like a backup version that protects Gemini. The line "Gemini is fine," was not said by gemini
That could definitely make for some interesting plot points. Imagine if Gemini gets damaged again and his second personality becomes corrupted and he becomes the villain, a mastermind that can manipulate Ergo. Though I guess all you'd need to do to stop him is throw him in a river or something
Question: Given this theory, could the original Gemini have served as a portable Stargazer, with respect to the function of absorbing ergo? Would there be a petrification disease safe zone around him?
That's a fantastic thought and something I had never considered. I suppose in theory you might assume that he could create a small "safe" zone around him, but it would come down to your willingness to separate Ergo itself from the Ergo spores that the Stargazers collect. Should we assume that they're one in the same, and that every instance of Ergo also contains some amount of toxic spores? Or can Ergo energy exist without the presence of spores? I lean towards the latter, and would say that Gemini is/was capable of absorbing Ergo as energy but he wasn't designed or equipped to capture the spores themselves. So, in effect, I personally don't think he would function as a portable Stargazer in that regard. Great question though and it made me think!
Unfortunately not--I'm just a normal dude with a full time job and making these videos is a hobby, but there is an official Lies of P Discord out there with a dedicated lore channel. It's probably pretty easy to find through a quick internet search. In the meantime, feel free to throw questions around here and see if you can get a good discussion going! I'd personally love to hear what you're thinking.
@@inspektahmcduck That's good to know. I'll have to check the official group out. In the meantime, one of the things rolling around in my head is that I suspect that Romeo was the vector through which the the Rose Estate Petrification disease outbreak was delivered. There is a loading screen that says that that something like [A boy slowly dying of the Petrification Disease made a deal to save others]. Then there is a document in the Opera house that seems to describe the creation of the King of Puppets that discusses the owner of the body getting revenge. Romeo himself has strange coloring, more like what you'd see from an alchemist's experiment. If he made a deal with the alchemists to be used in their experiments in an attempt to further a cure, and they used him as patient zero for the extremely contagious version of the disease that decimated the Rose Estate, he would probably want revenge against them. Whatever they did to him might have also helped make him such a good candidate to be turned into a puppet; his lifespan would be partially made into ergo, but he might not be totally petrified.
Other thoughts: 1) The Monad Charity House was supposedly founded (or run?) by the younger members of the Monad family. Does Sophia have a sibling? Could the Legendary Stalker be a Monad? 2) Carlo was "like family" to Lady Antonia. In front of the opera house, there is a statue with a dedication to Camille. Why put this here? Why not somewhere near the workshop, or somewhere associated with engineering? I believe that the nearby fountain plaque mentions the Ceresani family. Could Camille, and by extension Carlo, be related to the Ceresanis? 3) Did Antonia teach or help Carlo learn to play the piano? I think there was doodling on the flyer for the performance at the Monad Charity House which seemed to imply that the flyer had a picture of Carlo in which he "looked like a donkey". If he was in the picture for a concert, was he playing the piano? 4) In Medoro's report from the Hermit's Cave, he mentions that Sophia disappeared, Lorenzini lost hope, Lumachio is sick (I think), and H is dead. Was H the Hound (the real Alidoro)? Who is Lumacchio? 5) I suspect that unlike Chekov's Gun, there are a few letters/references/characters that are never meant to be important to the story as much as the worldbuilding. I can't help but feel that the Robber Weasel, who had plenty of dialogue, was just a tough street kid. 5) Even though the description says that Monad's lamp contains a cricket puppet, I suspect that it's really just a little, metal cast of a stationary cricket. Maybe that's where the ergo crystal goes? Large puppets have "hearts" that contain their ergo and resemble human hearts. There is no good reason to have a mobile cricket puppet inside of a lamp. From a pure machine design perspective, I think that Monad's lamp and other similar systems were steampunk GPS's with lights, that made cute cricket noises and maybe gave directions or other information? Maybe Sophia's lamp was very high end and contained a speaker. Broken Gemini sort of sounded like he was talking through one. --Thank you for letting me ramble. This stuff has been driving me nuts.
More thoughts: 1) The large King of Puppets is a theater prop. It is a mechanized costume intended to be operated by a human. It has a built-in comedy/tragedy mask. It is located in the opera house around the same time when an opera was being held with a character who was the Puppet Prince, played by Adelina Corday. The prince's father would be the Puppet King. Romeo wore the King of Puppets body as a disguise...maybe he was ordered to. His actual body would have raised a lot of very disturbing questions, and he was theoretically active before the puppet frenzy. Venigni knew of him. So did Sophia, which is interesting, since she supposedly couldn't reach puppets other than P (maybe puppets who were bound by the Grand Covenant?) 2) P was built with all of the most cutting edge bells and whistles from the workshop. We know he can breathe, which could be extended to allow him to speak without a speaker (air supply + vocal chords + mobile mouth and tongue. The last bit is the hard part). I think that system was developed for the Opera Spider-Ladies.
Great question, but no--I don't think so. A popular theory is that it's actually you (Gepetto's puppet) from the future or an alternate timeline. If you look at the weapon the Specter uses in each boss fight, it's the weapon that you're able to get by trading that boss's soul to Alidoro...so we can assume that the Specter comes from a place where he has already defeated that particular boss and obtained the related weapon. Plus, if you've raised your Humanity enough in the game to grow your hair out, you'll see that the Specter's hair is a similar style to that, though actually a bit longer than yours. And finally, if you can get a good look at him, it appears that he's got a Legion Arm as well. Does any of this prove that he's Gepetto's Puppet? No, but it makes him the most likely candidate based on the information we have.
I'm not sure if you're being rhetorical or asking this small-potatoes-content-creator directly, but a more important question to ask is: why does Gemini speaks like a modern RUclipsr? Is he from the future? Do you think he says "What is up" to his friends? 🤔
@@inspektahmcduck I'm asking you and anyone else who wants to answer. It seems like one of those things some RUclipsrs started doing, and other new RUclipsrs parroted that thinking that's how intros should start without really ever thinking "wait, what am I saying? I don't talk like this normally" and the cycle repeats. Gemini doesn't seem to speak like a modern RUclipsr, he speaks like a youth pastor from the 2000's.
@@chrispysaid Ah, well if you're asking me seriously then I'll answer you seriously. I can't speak for anyone else, but I started doing it ironically for the exact reasons you listed- before I was even making videos. I like to make jokes IRL with my friends when I do mundane things. "What is UP guys, it's ya boy, sitting here eating a garden salad, with my lemonade, you know how we do, got extra croutons today, YOLO" and all that. I've always thought that video blog style of intro was dumb and over-the-top, so I adopted it as a parody when I started making videos. It's the same reason I end my videos by saying "I'm out, peace." But now I guess the irony is gone and I've become the very thing I was rebelling against to begin with...! It's a good question though and if my intros started with how I actually greet people then I'd smile and look away while muttering "heyhowsitgoing." Anyway, keep calling people out for their unoriginal crap, me included. It's good conversation. Also the 2000's youth pastor comparison is spot on and I'm embarrassed I didn't think of it myself.
Bro what if in the new DLC this is all cleared up, and the legendary stalker still lives and is corrupted or you have to fight them? hmmm interesting ways they can go about this. maybe Dorothy will help.... WHAT IF THE END THE NAMELESS PUPPET when he is let off his Strings in the 2nd phase, IS THE GEMINI puppet and was just wiped or something.... hmm also i am still watching the video im at 22:50
Ha, it's nice to see so many other people getting hyped about the lore and story of this game. It's fun playing "what if" and thinking about all the possibilities. That being said, a common theory is that the Nameless Puppet is actually put together using a combination of puppet parts and pieces of Carlo's corpse, since Gepetto uses it to revive Carlo in the Real Boy ending. I'm not entirely sure what I believe but it's fun to speculate. Teaming up with Dorothy would definitely be cool!
I've never used them either. I bet if you feed him enough pills he gets super hyper and starts bouncing around the lamp like he's had 12 cups of coffee :)
since gemini has a track record with sophia and the memories on the beach is think there was a revolt gemmi was the model serving with the legendery stalker think sophia got captured because she could comunicate with ergo and shaped the gemini model to develop the path of the cricket so gemini aka p are most likely the same model a gemini model created to learn and shaped by sophia gemini chirps and us being able to comunicate with ergo allows us to hear him through sophias power to comunicate through ergo
I didn't say it outright in my video but yes, I do think that the Gemini model and Gepetto's puppet are very similar in that they're both capable of using ergo to learn and grow, but the main difference is that Gemini has the power to store ergo and grow from it on his own, whereas we can't store ergo ourselves and we need someone else to help us transform it into power. However, instead, we have the P-Organ and are able to use that to teach ourselves new techniques, something I don't think Gemini had.
That's exactly what it is, except it's not a total fabrication and was built by research and evidence. That's part of what I love about this game--the ambiguities that give you just enough information to help you piece together a theory that makes the most sense to you, but that same information can easily be interpreted differently by someone else. Do you have a personal theory about Gemini that differs from mine?
No, I just meant like, old vaatividya felt like he was uncovering the truth hidden in the game. This I am less convinced by, but I’ll think about it though.
@@pastafarian7 Oh sure, Vaati's a pro, and--not trying to make excuses here--but this is the first time I've attempted to figure out lore on my own. There may be some relevant information in the game that I missed and that Vaati would have noticed, but I did my best to scour every detail and tie things together. I've found that what's different about Lies of P versus the Souls games is that the main story is told outright in a more straightforward manner, but the mysteries seem to have fewer clues surrounding them as a whole. Maybe the devs are holding out to give us more info in the DLC, or maybe we're never meant to know the answers; either way I was disappointed that Vaati didn't take the time to dive into Lies of P lore so that's why you get me instead of him. :) And I take absolutely no offense if you're not convinced by my theory, though I do hope you can at least recognize the significance of some of the evidence I've collected and maybe draw your own conclusions from there.
That would be a fantastic mod for someone to make. Every time you're in a new or dangerous situation Gemini is basically like "Whatever, idk." Like a broody pre-teen. But seriously, his voice and his personality is a pretty divisive aspect of the game. The first time I heard him speak after being fixed I felt it was way out of place with the tone of the rest of the game but I eventually got used to it.
What I felt was missing: La Bleiwies
1. Note or flyer that even the legendary stalker liked it
2. Old woman asking for it
In other words--I haven't formed any thoughts around Gemini + Carlo that are solid enough to discuss just quite yet, but maybe some day
@@inspektahmcduck That's fair enough, excited to see what other theories you have in store!
Absolutely mindblowing. Read those item descriptions people!! Instant sub from me

Very solid theory. Truly Gemini is the Ordis of LoP.
I didn't know what you meant by Ordis so I had to look it up. I don't know anything about Warframe but you taught me something today!
Never thought i’d see a Warframe reference on a LoP video

Thanks so much for this video! Super underrated channel, dude! I'm so curious to see where they go with Gemini
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment! I'm curious to see where they go with him too. At the very least I want to know what happened in the train car at the start of the game
loved the theory. thanks for making the video
Thanks for watching the video and letting me know you liked it!
I really love this casual lore discussion. Hope you do more videos.
Interesting hypotheses. BTW the vision on the beach are memories from Carlo's past life. It makes sense that only our character can see them.
The theory vid i've been searching for all week... knew it'd exist eventually!
Ha, I appreciate you saying so! A big reason I wanted to make it is because I didn't see any Gemini lore videos either. I hope you enjoyed it!
Good luck!
@@inspektahmcduck oh thanks for the tip!
Bro did such an amazing job with this theory instant follow I need more lies of p stuff!! Ib my 3rd playthrough rn
Thanks man! It's been two months since you made this comment...what playthrough are you on now? ;)
@inspektahmcduck i had to stop there's too many games out rn😂😂😂
@@Enzo-gw7zf Ha, I know how that goes. After I made my first two Lies of P vids I took a break to play a couple other things and then Elden Ring DLC came out. Too many games, not enough time!
This video deserves wayyy more views
Thanks for saying so! I agree 😎
awesome video, surprised by just how much stuff i didn't know or realize
It's not "Stop and smell the roses," it's "Stop and read the item descriptions" :) The story works well enough on its own during a playthrough, but it's crazy how much deeper the lore goes if you take the time to investigate.
When you first started this theory I was skeptical, but you made a great argument that I really agree with!
What if the staintess of mercy statue and Gemini have a connection? He makes a comment about the statue when you first encounter it, Sophia is there, and probably the most important piece of evidence, "A new life for an old puppet."
Gemini may have been remade here after the amulet was attached.
I just ended the game and got the best ending kinda by accident and I’m so interested about the lore. I love stuff like this
Nice, congrats! It's definitely worth doing at least one more playthrough and choosing different lie/truth options so that you can see the different interactions with the characters. Plus every time you play through you'll pick up more of the lore bits and start making connections. It's so gratifying.
@@inspektahmcduck yup started a ng+ like a day after 😂
I was wondering about the Path of the Cricket, amazing theory. I'll be around for more videos of the game, thanks for this one.
Thanks for the comment! I'm working on my next video now so hopefully I'll have that out soon
Very interesting theory, quite convincing. I do hope we get more information about Gemini on future updates.
Thanks this video made me like gemini and find him interesting, instead of just annoying with his unnecessary comments.
Pretty cool
That's a fantastic compliment! Thank you!
Amazing video! Thanks for that! :)
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the comment!
Gemini was a child at the monad house during the outbreak. His name was lampwick.
I think Paracelsus put Gemini on the train. He was the true mastermind after all.
nobody else acknowledges gemini because sophia can understand and talk to puppets through ergo
So good!
Gemini must've died fighting in the tower same as carlos but failed to save sophie. Carlos succeeded and now Gemini is apart of carlos
That was A LOT of "Jack Daniels".
Haha, I had a giant ice cube that had melted so it was pretty diluted at that point. Unfortunately not as much whiskey as it was water 😔
interested to see how this plays out in the DLC :)
Me too! I'm hoping for some answers, but I also have a feeling the DLC will just introduce new lore for us to go crazy over
Please tell me that you have a Discord for folks who want to discuss theories behind Lies of P. I desperately want to toss some ideas around.
Is Gemini the helper you get when you fight bosses?
Why is the good started unable to be activated mister? I'm in my 3rd run through...
I don't think I've ever said "What is up" to another human being, why is it so ubiquitous among RUclipsr intros?

In my 4 or 5 play throughs, I never used those pills. Maybe if you feed him enough pills, something happens???
Seems like fan fiction…
Unpopular opinion, I wish Gemini has stayed broken
That would be a fantastic mod for someone to make. Every time you're in a new or dangerous situation Gemini is basically like "Whatever, idk." Like a broody pre-teen. But seriously, his voice and his personality is a pretty divisive aspect of the game. The first time I heard him speak after being fixed I felt it was way out of place with the tone of the rest of the game but I eventually got used to it.
