What rules weren't met?
I thought that too. Opening shot shows a fiberglass hood.
But if you look at the event flyer, it says "except for hoods and bumpers". Otherwise, there'd be no Fox Bodies able to join in the fun. Can you imagine one of these races without a Fox Body!? Gasp!!
@@thegooniverse495 No license plates, no full exhaust, lexan windows, Slicks (not radials with tread or DOT legal) etc. Look at the flyer rules and tell me they meet these conditions.
Never heard of such an event. But why call it "all steel" if the rules allow fiberglass hood and bumper? Just call it glass and steel.
because if you do that people will roll up with glass fenders, doors, trunk lids etc. 90% of hoods are for clearance so I get them slipping by, and cars like mustangs don't even have steel bumpers, so asking for that would be dumb.
@@thegooniverse495 Pretty sure I saw a glass trunk lid on that 66ish Mustang.
And all Fox bodies came with a steel/aluminum bumper bar behind the factory plastic cover. Make 'em put that back in. (Yeah, I know... good luck with that!)
My point is, don't call an event something and then not require participants to meet that basic part of the rules. Just silly.
