Neze I concur with Ur husband on the opinion that women should always tell their husbands anything that happens to her outside her home or at office, it really helps to prepare that man from unnecessary gossips from people. So many friends will come and tell me, I saw so many women in Ur husband's clinic, doing what? Sometimes still go and visit him at his clinic. I just laugh, that his profession demands female patients 🤣I am too young to come and develop HBP because of busybody people

I feel you should tell everything depending on the scenario and gravity. However as women, we were trained to not tell everything and we may find ourselves keeping certain things from our partners. The truth is, the emotional maturity of your partner should be a deciding factor.

As long as the information does not pose a threat to my relationship with my husband…I keep it to myself. Today’s episode is my favourite. My husband had trust issues cos if bad experiences when he was dating and that affected me cos he became so possessive that even his siblings who are all men can’t chat anyhow with me, it was bad but as time went by he started adjusting and he’s kinda cool with me but I’m so sure he will never allow me work in a bank cos we won’t cope. I think it depends on who you’re with- if you’re with someone thats an overthinker, a tad bit sensitive or someone that needs a bit of reassurance now and again… then there are things that should be kept to yourself. I agree with Neze, you really don't have to share everything with your spouse no matter how open the marriage is. Trust makes this position possible. Some information are really unnecessary. The most important thing is that the spouse has handled that issue and buried it. Its only when it gets out of hand that he or she can share so that the two can fight it together. As they say, a woman's heart is an ocean of secrets. If she begins to share them all, unnecessary and avoidable conflicts will surely ensue.

This issue with visiting a client at the hotel, one of my senior colleagues usually have clients that insist on she coming to see them at hotels after hours. She would never say no to such requests, and she would NEVER go to see these clients with her handbag (yours truly 😁). I enjoyed those visits so much because we eventually end up having the meetings over dinner since they are always scheduled after hours.
Seriously i'm like ur husband oooh i say everything meanwhile my husband is like you talks when it's necessary or pertinent. I just take it that everyone has his or her nature which makes the couple blend and function.

I agree with Oga o. I’m sorry I’m not with you on this one Neze. It has nothing to do with flippancy. Your hubby gave a very good reason why it is important to share info with your spouse. Maybe not everything but majority of things should made known to your spouse. It shows you’re very transparent and open to your spouse. It also saves you from any unforeseen issues that may arise in the future that requires your explanation because your spouse would already be aware of the person(s) involved. I just feel that when you have nothing to hide, nothing to protect and nothing to defend, you will just be transparent and open. This doesn’t mean that you have to tell your hubby everything about your family because it’s their private info. However, any info that has to do with you, your kids, or hubby should be made known to your spouse to avoid wahala o. 🤷🏽♀️
