The first 2 episodes of Humanity has Declined is also worth a mention.
Mostly because of the Bleeding Bread that rips itself in half and the headless chickens who are behind everything.
interesting, honestly have had humanity has declined on my watchlist for a while admittedly dont know anything about it didnt even know it was a comedy lol, im intrigued now
Asobi Asobase is absolutely insane, taking what worked in Azumanga Daioh and turning it up to over 9000/10 hilarity.
The Robot who can speak English was extremely funny.
SKET DANCE MENTIONED! I'm so happy someone understands how amazing Sket Dance is!! 😭
It is one of my favourite comedy and slice of life series ever! It makes me so sad that people are so neglectful of this gem that even it's manga is not completely translated.
The anime itself is hilarious and heartwarming with awesome music and animation!
I also love Hinamatsuri!! Seeing somebody talk about these actual underrated shows really made my day❤
thank you so much! loved SKET Dance a lot! cant wait for the author’s new work Witch Watch to eventually get an anime too!
Manga is fully translated
One good comedy anime that not a lot of people know about and that I reccomend is Detroid Metal City
never heard of that, I need to look into it!
funny as fck lol
That show is funny. Not for everyone it's pretty messed up.
baka and test funny asf 😂
life lessons with uramichi oniisan is comedy bordering on actual reality
literally what i am going through now with my company
@@stoptalkinglemur tragicomedy + irony
Great list I needed that since I was having trouble finding comedy animes
appreciate it so much!
Watch great teacher onizuka
It is the bessssssstttt anime I have ever seen
The greatest anime to be made
SKET DANCE MENTIONED!🗣️🗣️😭
I'm glad I'm finding my fellow SKET Dance fans haha
if i think of a some comedy i see nanbaka is that so dumb and hillarious in same time trully a hidden gem
I watched a few episodes back when it was airing and definitely need to get back into it, loved the opening for it!
Not including Gintama and Ouran high school host club should be considered crime 🙃
calling them underrated though would be pushing it😂
@@stoptalkinglemur true lmao but i still think there are pretty less people who watch or are interested in animes like gintama, considering how good it is, it should've been more popular
oh definitely, I'm surprised Gintama hasn't really gotten a bit more mainstream with the amount of critical acclaim it gets from the community and its core fanbase, glad people really enjoy it though. I actually haven't seen Ouran High-School Host Club yet but have had it on my Plan to Watch for years now, just really need to carve out the time to binge it all and so many other anime tbh.
Gintama so funny
whoa good list! I loved Servant x Service I’ve never seen anyone mention that!!! I also would recommend Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan very funny show with a lot of humor definitely check it out
thank you!! and I loved Uramichi! I just didn’t include it because I put it on a different video here and I actually have a few videos I also want to include it in, so I just didn’t want to make it look like I was only putting the same shows in everytime😭
Nice list. Here are some other great comedy anime daily life of high school boys, and denki-gai.
ive had denki-gai on my list for a while now!
Tbh if it wasn't for Gintama, I wouldn't have known what SKET Dance even is
bless Gintama for that!
@@stoptalkinglemur true that!
Can I recommend Mahobara: Heartful Days? I thought it was kind of a cute comedy
never heard of it until this comment, thanks for the rec :)
Dfrag goated
just started it, its wild💀
Sabagebu and Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro would be my suggestions for underrated comedies
Joshikousei No Mudazukai is also amazing!
I watched a few episodes Chio-chan and Joshikousei and I liked it, especially Joshikousei I thought it was pretty funny! I almost put it on here but I technically didn't finish it yet and I didn't want to lower my already low credibility by just putting shows I didn't complete lol. Never heard of Sabagebu but you've piqued my interest!
@@stoptalkinglemur not to overhype it, but Sabugebu is similar to D-Frag and Shikanoko
@@willpina cool! I just added to my watchlist, whenever I find the time to get to it I'll let you know what I think!
"I'm in Love with the Villainess" should be on the list. The dub version is even funnier than the sub.
I wasn't a big fan honestly aside from episode 3, but maybe the dub will win me over
Gamers uses the misunderstanding trope in a comedic fashion while most other anime (and non-anime shows as well) use it to keep the plot rolling. Like the way Grey's Anatomy and soap operas refuse to let the plot go anywhere because the writers want it to last forever if they can but lack the creativity to make it feel natural so they axe off characters in the the most over the top ways or make absurd twists/reveals or create an insane misunderstanding to prolong the "will they, won't they" drama. Gamers doesn't do that. the characters are always "in character" when said misunderstandings happen and it's all used to be humorous rather than dramatic. Gonna be honest, the entire cast are mostly composed of idiots of different varieties, so the misunderstandings aren't so much infuriating as other shows I've seen. The video above described it well by calling it parody of the trope.
Not to mention alot of the humor is aided by the voice acting and the characters reactions to situations.
I would recommend watching 5 episodes before quitting. The show definitely implies it's going in a generic school club romance plot but this is [SPOILERS] dropped literally after the first episode. Not to mention the second half makes another shift, but this change feels natural based on where things going after so many understandings.
If you like the goofy misunderstandings between the characters of SpyXFamily, then you might like this. The only difference is the setting and Gamers being less cozy/wholesome.
I'd be down for a second season if they ever decided to do so.
kind of ironic that an anime about misunderstandings was misunderstood by a lot of people that watched it lmao, id be really excited for a second season as well
Bro you forgot Re: Zero and Redo Of Healer.
Azumanga daioh😭😭
never heard of it until this comment! looks interesting
i count watch Azumanga daioh, it was so painfull and cringe, because the show i s filled with anime tropes, Character archetype and Recurring themes. Some Animes/manga make it so that it doesnt anoy me because it makes sence and feels honest, but not Azumanga daioh.
I don't think asobi asobase is underrated. It's one of the most recommended comedy anime
yah you're right i was bending it a bit with that, it was the very last show i put onto this video because i needed a tenth anime that i've watched to completion lmao, i had a couple other options like uramichi that i've used a bit in other videos and also almost put in "this art club has a problem!" instead but i wasn't sure the comedy aspect was as universally appealing so i just opted for asobi asobase. it actually is less watched than hinamatusri (according to mal) despite it airing in the same season which was surprising
School rumble is great
